Comfortable, clean hotel.  Large rooms.  Next to Buccees and across the street from Walmart.  Reasonable rates.  Helpful desk staff.  Right next to Hwy 59 on highway 102.  Not far from downtown Wharton and downtown Glen Flora.

Good choice

We stayed the night of November 23 2019. I left my wallet in the room when we left. We didn't realize til we were 4 hours north. We called and they located it. They dropped it the mail and I received it today, intact. The rooms are clean and spacious,  and were enough to rest a weary traveler. Easy highway access,  and right next door to a huge convenience store called Buc-ee's! Worth a stop.I highly recommend this hotel!

A place that treats you right!

I stayed here for a over a month while working on a project and I would pay my weekly rate every Monday. Towards the end of the project I called during the day to see if I can just book it for 4 days at a time instead of the whole week and keep the same rate, beings I wasn't sure when the job would end. The man said no problem since I had been staying for a while I can do that and just to let him know after my 4th day if I need to extend it and I'd be able to still have my same rate per night. I show up at the front desk that afternoon and the woman says no and wants me to pay the full nightly rate because I'm not staying all week. I told her what I was told on the phone earlier that day and she didn't care, I asked to get my things out of the room so I can move to a different hotel and she said I'd still have to pay for the nights at full price so I was pretty much stuck paying the full price. I definitely won't be back to this hotel on my next trip to this area.

Dishonest and doesn’t back up their word

Many better choices in the area. Door locks were difficult to open. Room smelled moldy. Chair in room was stained. Towel was dirty. Old hairbrush and other trash laying under things. Value was not there in the place.

Seen better days

Stayed for 4 days while visiting friends and family.clean rooms comfy bed hot showers. I noticed BBQ pits outside pipeline workers were using..right Had a buccees and Walmart within walking distance..staff was friendly always walking around keeping things ni e and clean. Only downside they dont speak very much English

Decent place

This location is not on my plan to return spot. If you are going for a night or two maybe but not for me.
I filed complains at the desk three times and no manager ever got back to me.
I filed complaint straight to manager and his wife and no response or follow up in 24 hours.
Get the money and no one cares.

Not So Clean, Not So Friendly

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed there as it is just 1 yr old and thought it would be really nice. 

The experience was horrible from check in to check out. The manager who checked us in was rude upon arrival. The room had mildew and stunk...with all of the surfaces wet (the beds and the chairs). When we asked if we could change rooms, we were met with hostility and told that each room had the same problem. The internet didn't work and, again, we were met with anger when we said it wasn't working. There were also used supplies in the bathroom and the fridge stunk. We booked for three nights and after getting treated disrespectfully and not receiving a single apology/offer to fix the above mentioned things, we checked out without staying one night. The fact the manager didn't care at all is my biggest complaint of the whole experience.

I'm never one to complain. So, for me to write my very first TripAdvisor post is saying a lot. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Horrible

It was a clean room with fair beds. Stay was comfortable within price range. Had repeated trouble with key cards. Toiletries were very cheap. Traveling with a family we always choose a hotel with hot breakfast. It didn't hit the mark for us. Breakfast was in a very small room. The juice ran out quickly and the waffle batter was watered down. Very clean though.
