We chose this hotel because it is pet friendly.   I was disappointed with the condition of the room, worn-out.  The rickety microwave smelled of chicken soup, so it wasn't cleaned. There were bugs in the room.  If you do choose to stay, request a first floor room so you don't have to carry your pet and luggage up the stairs.

Pay a little more and get a good night sleep!

Woke up with multiple roaches crawling on the floor sink and bed. I counted about 20 roaches in the room. Also the bed is not comfortable because there’s no box springs and only a metal frame that’s squeaks every time you turn in the bed. The pool is also closed permanently

Roaches everywhere

Quite and safe place.  Manager even called my room and alerted me of the road traffic morning before I left.  They even accommodated me when I asked for first floor since I was traveling with pets.  A lot of restaurants near by.

Great Stay with Pets

We had an extended stay here with two pets. Our house sold, and we needed an extended stay motel that was pet friendly until we could close on our new house. I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff. Everyone was truly outstanding! The manager went out of his way to accommodate us, and make sure our stay was a pleasant one. The staff at this Motel 6 is the absolute BEST! Thank you all so very much! 

Extended Stay with Pets

I stopped here tonight with my elderly father who locked himself in the room while I was bringing the bags in from the car. The hotel manager was very understanding and helpful. He cut open the security latch with a bolt cutter and refused my offer to pay for the repair. He is just a good, decent human being and I hope his business prospers.

The room is clean, comfortable, moderately priced and conveniently located.

This chain and Econo Lodge are my least favorites on the PLANET, but we had an absolutely fine experience here! My husband decided at the last minute that he wanted to break up our trip with a night in the "cheapest room I could find." This was it, and we got a good night's sleep in a clean, decent, quiet room. Good sized room, with very thin mattress and even thinner towels, but no biggie! We felt safe, AC worked well, and after a hot shower, we were on our way! The TV was an adequate size, with a good channel lineup. Bring your own toiletries and blow dryer. Staff was friendly, and the LOCATION is EXCELLENT-- literally a quarter mile off the interstate. Very close to Walmart, McDonalds, Zaxbys, and Walgreens. Walking distance to Taco Bell, KFC, and Hardees. All in all, a great deal and very convenient for a night's stay, if you are fine with very very basic.

Cheap, Decent quiet night's sleep

When I checked in, the clerk asked if I was sue I needed a handicapped room. I told him yes. The he explained they need to make sure. I said I have bad knees and need the shower and bath stability. He said something else. And I asked if he wanted me to go get my handicap hang tag. Of course he said no and apologized, his bos says to make sure. 
During the first night, the roof started leaking. A lot. So I moved my stuff to another handicap room close by. There was nothing to hang my clothes on and one of the lights didn’t work at all. The “manager?” Checked the next day and they had me move to another room. The third room was fine. The first room bathroom shower tile was dark and moldy looking and there was a lot of dust bunnies  behind desk and nightstand on the non carpeted floors. I mentioned this to the man when I moved rooms. I only moved the furniture hunting for plugs. The third room was clean and everything worked. I checked out after 8 days rather than the reserved 9 days. I asked if there would be allowances made for the first night. The clerk said her boss would call because she wasn’t able to do that. She gave me a print out of the itemized bill showing a $64.61 refund due. I asked about the last night.  She said that she deducted “one night” in the computer and that’s what it came back. I stood there and added the last night cost and taxes for a total of $67.61.  But! She says the computer says to refund $2.89! Non of which she can do. Confusing. She said has already called her boss about it and that(again),  the boss will call me. That was 32 hours ago. The automatic request for feedback  came first. 
All of the staff that I encountered were very nice.

Very dissatisfied

We stayed one night, July 16, 2019. had a great stay. clean room. plenty of towels. Our two  Puppies were free, beds was comfortablereal nice clerks. what more can I say, If I travel this way again I will stay here. It was that nice.

Very friendly staff. Place has been updated with new paint and pergo floors. Everything worked. It was a last minute booking so for what we needed it for it was a good stay for the price.
If you are on the ground floor, you will probably hear a bit of the heavy heals upstairs, but it wasn't as if you had kids upstairs in their rooms.
Floors could use not only a good sweep, but a good washing. Spilt a little water on the floor, used one of their towels to wipe it up and I could not believe how dirty the floors were. BRING YOUR SLIPPERS OR FLIP-FLOPS.
When I walked in to check out the room it was nice, went to use the washroom and one of the 2 plastic bolts that holds the toilet seat on was snapped off so be prepared to surf while doing your business if you get this room (109) and it hasn't been fixed yet.
They have the TV in a traditional style TV stand with drawers underneath, which was fine, but the TV's speaker is located at the back of the TV, so it was like listening while the TV was in a large bowl.
There are no microwaves, so don't think you would be able to warm up your food in your room. They do have one in the lobby, but when its 30° by the time you get back to your room, your food you just reheated is cold already.
Only coffee & tea in the morning in the lobby, no mini coffee pot in the room.
It was nice to see they are pet friendly, with NO FEE!! 
BUT... Your pup will struggle with a place to go, nice grassy area outback, but you have to climb a 4ft. Wall to get to it.
It is a VERY BASIC hotel/motel. So if you're looking for a bit of swank, look across the street.

Basic as basic can get

We arrived around midnight on a Thursday and were confronted with the worst front desk person ever. No people skills whatsoever. Maybe she was the daughter of the owner and wasn’t even interviewed. We had prepaid for the room but had an error booking for a smoking room instead. When we requested a change of room, her demeanor switched and all kinds of insults were down.  We had to pay for an upgrade to a non smoking room. Paid cash w/o receipt , etc. The room was dirty and one a/c was not working.  After returning for claiming that, she mentioned that was our fault for making the error and that they did not have any rooms left due to the hurricane Florence.  Parking was half empty!  We know what is to be in a hotel due to hurricane.  She was not apologetic, she was blaming us all the time for our fault, very ironic with a smirk in her face.  I wish I knew her name. If by any chance you HAVE to stay in this Motel 6, try not to late check-in. But the White House, TN is a booming area with a lot of restaurants and hotels. So try to book on another hotel.  Motel 6 needs to train their personnel on how to work for the customers and not against them.
