This review is both good and not so good.  Nice folks operating it, wanted to say that upfront.   The price was okay (less than $100), the room I had was good, clean and comfortable and updated not too long ago.  But, the back of the hotel where I stayed has a very nasty looking old glass elevator that no longer works, and it looks terrible.   When I drove around to my room and saw it and parked next to it to be close to the ramps to get to the second floor, I was really not happy about it.   Weeds growing everywhere, and the doors to the elevator were slightly open and all kinds of crud and birds were inside it.  But....my room was nice and clean and well kept.  Big parking lot if you are pulling a trailer or boat, hard to beat!   Not sure why they don't clean it up and make it made presentable.  No breakfast here, but coffee and juice is provided.  Plenty of restaurants that you can walk to if you want for all meals. 

Okay but......

Room was nasty from the start Blood on top sheet floor’s hadn’t been mopped in who knows how long lock broke on door! Took pictures went back to front desk after I tried calling and no one answered spoke to the manager! He was very rude! All he said was if you not happy I give full refund! Well that’s great but weather was horrible and everything around was booked! So I demanded new bedding the house keeper tried to tell me that a lot of “truckers” stay there and it was oil stains! Try again Lady! I’m a truck drivers daughter and that wasn’t oil! Trash on the floor when the room next to us showered water run down the wall into our room! Windows was so nasty you could barely see out of them!Nasty is an understatement!! I went and bought cleaning supplies to try and make the best out of it! Only thing positive I can say is the beds was comfortable!

Worst Hotel ever!

Bathroom was dirty, hairs in the soap dish!!!  condition of tub horrible, torn spots and dirty spots.  Bedspread had spots on it and dirt all across the edge of the bedspread!!!   Just a horrible visit - never never again!

AWFUL

What an unpleasant experience. Upon checking in we discovered our room was not clean. The sheets and comforter were dirty and stained. The fridge was broken. The microwave was filthy and the bathroom only had half a roll of toilet paper. Also the floor was dirty. We made due that night and reported all the issues to the front desk clerk. He stated the comforters were clean but stained. We stayed 3 nights. Room got cleaned once. Never a refill on the toilet paper or coffee. They replaced the fridge but that was it. Our last time staying at this motel!!

Stay clear

Do NOT stay here. Stains on bedding, cigarette burns and dirty. We accidentally took off a small amount of trim on outside of door that was obviously glued on and painted over, and they threatened to call the cops after we took the trim to the office to tell them about it. We had to eat 11 nights that we paid for. We travel a lot and have never been treated like this.

I was traveling across Tennessee and wasn't sure how far I would be able to drive that day - and had no reservations.  Apparently this area is a "resort area" and hotels are very pricey and fill quickly during the summer, which I didn't realize.  This was one of only 2 hotels nearby that had a vacancy, so I took it.  Rooms opened to the outside. 

The positives:
1.  It had an opening - and now I  know why....
2. It was just off the freeway for each access.
3. It had a ramp rather than stairs so you could roll your bags up to the 2nd and 3rd floors. 

The negatives:
1.  Filthy, dirty exterior and an old elevator that hadn't been used for at least 5 - 10 years.  Storage area on the side looked like a dumping ground for old items. 
2.  No breakfast - only a juice machine.
3.  Bed comforter had 2 huge stains - gross.
4.  Vanity area floor clearly hadn't been cleaned in some time - dirt, old hair strands.
5.  AC was very noisy. 
6.  Room Refrigerator had a broken leg and kept tipping over.

If you're desperate for a room.....

The room itself has been recently updated, however for a non smoking room the room has an overwhelming smell of cigarettes 
The Bathroom floor had not been cleaned in some time, there was hair all over 
We had to place a towel on the floor in front of the door to the room to cover a very LARGE gap, so no bugs would come in, and the mirror recently 
Not to mention the tub is just GROSS, it appears to have a lifetime of grime, and you have to remove the stopper in order for it to drain, you then discover there is a drain full of hair

Would not recommend

Sayed here and it is so filthy The shower curtain and bathtub had black mold took the curtain down and took it to the office and reported it. The floor was so dirty you don't dare walk  on it without shoes. I called the Health Department and they went out and did an inspection. They have several violation and have 10 days to get the place cleaned up. I called and talk to the manager and he would not make things right and I told him I'm calling the health department he said go ahead.

Warning Do not stay here ...

Right off I-40, close to a lot of eateries. No real complaints. Outside entrances to rooms. The rooms appear to have been recently upgraded/remodeled.  Don't let the rather dated exterior fool you you.

Greatr locatIion, great value

When we travel with our dogs, we almost always stay at Red Roof Inn’s because of their friending dog policies. They are generally economical, no frill establishments. But as long as they are safe and clean it works when we have the dogs. 

This particular location far, far exceeds expectations. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The building itself is nice and there is a large grassy area to walk the dogs. The room we had seemed new and was large with all the amenities one would need. And it is quiet! 

We cannot recommend this place enough. If it is on your route, we highly recommend it.
