Dirty / Nasty  . Wow I wish I had seen this review before I booked my room. I just want to start by saying I travel 6 to 7 months out of the year. I look for inexpensive rooms because we are staying for work. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST HOTEL EVER! I have never complained before so Im dead serious on this hotel. I had the same experiance as some of the other guest I just read about. 1. Blood on the sheets 2. No wash clothes, 1 towel. 3. No remotes 4. Smelly rooms 5. Kids hanging out side our room drinking beer asking us to buy them more ( we didnt) 6. No micro wave or fridge in rooms, when brought to the attention of the front desk we had to look in 5 rooms, non had both so they told me to go ahead AND CARRY them from the rooms into ours. Once I did this I looked in the microwave and it was so filthy I wouldnt use it. 7. Broken Floor tiles in room 8. Vinly in bathroom all cracked and broken holding Im sure a ton of bacteria. 9. No soap, shampoo, tissues 10, Walls were completely filthy . We had originaly checked in for 2 rooms 2 nights. After seeing the rooms I asked for a refund and wanted to leave. They would only let me out of the second night. 

Wow I wish I had seen this review before I booked my room.

Originally we were booked at lodging in Stearns but were warned by locals not to stay at either motel there and to drive to Whitley City to the FairBridge. Ann at the desk wasn't sure if she had a room per the computer but walked the halls and found one. I think this is very strange and did concern me but we were desperate for accommodations late in the evening. The lobby was pristine, the room was very clean.  Manager Billy was very professional and helpful and employees Ann, Morris and Regina were very nice and helpful. Thank you Ann for finding a room for us and good job keeping the only decent motel in many miles so clean!!

Very clean and very friendly staff!

Clean but really dated. Friendly service and helpful. Beds old but not uncomfortable. Great shower pressure but sink faucet really off. To turn off, must push all the way down and carefully lift up handle until water stops. Haven’t served breakfast since Covid.

Best in Whitley City

I called and made reservations for a visit the 26th of December.   I specifically asked if a service dog “in training” was allowed.  Understanding that he is not fully trained.  We had stayed here in the past and brought a dog, but knew they were under new management.   He was very helpful and said no problem!! I asked again to be positive. He said no problem.  He never stated anything else other than I see you e stayed before and we are still doing military discounts for you.  Imagine our surprise when we arrive, he sees our dog and tells us no..20 lb limit. He is 65 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback that is well behaved!   We scrambled to find a place to stay.   Not recommended!!!

Would not stay!!!

The room is clean and spacious. The owner has done some renovations and still has some to do. He is doing a great job. It is much better than other places we've stayed that cost much more.  I would stay here again.

Nice place

it's under new management, and the staffs are GREAT!!!! highly recommend. rooms are cleaner and the best hotel around the area. I dare people to go there because I had a great time..free coffee. amazing customer service.

Unfortunately this is the only hotel in the area.  The carpet looked swept but was filthy and need shampooed badly.  I made sure I kept my shoes on!  Blanket was very, very thin.  Towels were very thin and there was no wash cloth in the room only 2 thin towels and 2 thin hand towels.  Ice machine didn't work.  But, if you have to stay in this area, which we did, its a cheap place to sleep and that's about all I can say.

I do not recommend

Do not stay here! My advice stay in Williamsburg. Staff very rude and disrespectful. Heard a female staff member yelling at a guest late at night. Doors slamming late at night. Stairs very dirty. The worse place I have ever stayed. Could never find someone at the front desk.

Hotel is clean and price is good if you don’t want to sleep. Long term residents are loud up all hours of the night . Screaming, doors slamming , dog barking running around hotel. Police were there the last night of our stay for someone trying to break into a room .

Great value for the money.  The place was clean and the staff was very nice and helpful.  We stayed in the King non smoking Jacuzzi room. Took a nice hot Jacuzzi bath while watching TV.  I really liked the high ceilings.  It made if feel like a palace room or a room in a Victorian home.  Recommend if you want to stay nice place at very little cost. They don't have breakfast you can buy something and the microwave it later in the morning.
