Great hotel...I stay here once a month when I visit my husband at the prison up the highway.  I've tried other places, but this is the best place by far.  The staff is friendly and make you feel comfortable.  I have a great night sleep and breakfast in the morning.  Thank you Travelodge!!

Home Away from Home

Stopped in with no reservations for a one night stay and got a room.  Room was clean and quiet.  Hotel has great access as it is right by the highway.  Staff was very helpful and courtious.  Would stay again.

Midway stop on the way hone

We had a very pleasant stay at the Travel lodge Wichita Falls TX. The owner was very kind and the room was clean and nicely updated, we will strecomend this hotel to our friends and family. Thank you Travel lodge staff for a very pleasant stay .

Great stay

I reserved a room for two nights on a different website. They claimed their sewer line was busted and wouldn't refund my money. The help desk hung up on me too. Stay away from oyo unless you want to loose money.

It's a scam..

So let me tell you about the most unhappy experience when checking in at 11pm on 10/10/2020. I arrived to the night window. In the lobby, I see an elder woman asleep in the sofa. Not paying any mind to it and not trying to disturb her, I press the little white door bell thats on the counter. The lady glances up and speaks to someone behind the front desk. This older man, in pajamas comes to the night window and says "what do you want!" I tell him that I booked a room for 1 night through a 3rd party and its already paid for. I give him my name and he replied "I need $10 cash!" I respond with, do you have a credit card machine or an ATM? "NO! I DONT KNOW WHERE THERE'S ONE!" the man replied as he walked away. Puzzled, I walk away and was able to get the $10 cash from my companion. When I return to the night window, I ring the bell again. This time the older lady comes to the window and hands me a form to fill out. I do and hand her the form with the $10 cash when she hands me the room key. I stand waiting for a receipt since I just performed a cash transaction but only get the look of, "yes!" "Excuses me ma'am" I said, "Do I get some sort of receipt". The lady says that I will get my $10 when I check out after they verify that I didn't smoke or had pets in the room. "I know ma'am", I replied "but we just exchanged cash". I then hear someone speaking Hindi in the background and she replied back to him. The older man now comes out of the woodwork yelling at me because its only $10. Standing in total disbelief, I asked if he was the owner but the older lady told me no as she starts pushing this man away. They both disappear and im standing there in total shock. What should I do, I ask myself. The only thing I can think of at this moment was to write about my experience in this review. 

Unpleasant welcome

I cancelled my reservation due to illness. They charged my card even though I didn't stay there. When I called to attempt to get a refund, I could barely understand the representative due to his accent and a cracking connection . They absolutely refused to refund my $ because I cancelled the same day and it's "company policy" I recommend everyone to avoid Oyo for their poor customer service. He kept telling me It was my fault.

Cancellation not honored

I think title says it all!! This hotel didn't even wash the bedsheets and towels after previous guest left. They should be reported to Texas health and safety so that licenses is suspended or fined. See the picture of the towels.  I was absolutely shocked !

Good place to pickup COVID 19 Virus

Before arriving at Wichita Falls I called the hotel early in the morning and specifically asked about non-smoking rooms, and I was informed that it was a non-smoking facility.  After a long drive from Colorado with kids we checked in getting our room keys and went straight to eat since it was late in the evening. Upon our return, we went to the rooms and the smell of the rooms was unbearable!  I could barely breathe. I stayed a few seconds in the room. Enough time to see the wallpaper falling from the wall. The hotel needs maintenance!!!. We decided not to stay because of the strong cigarette smell in both rooms we reserved.  We talked to the person in charge and he told us we would not be charged for the rooms. We left in search of another hotel. Today, checking our credit card statement, we noticed that OYO charged us not only for both rooms but also for an extra U$ 11,00 for charge verification. This is unacceptable and we will dispute the charges. Honesty should come first!

Check the room before you check in!

We had $400 stolen from us when room service came in. I would never recommend it. The owners where away and I believe it might of been their son who was there. It was the worst service and snobby attitude. Breakfast was always old and never fresh. No microwave was offered when I told them I would be staying for a while. Do not go there

Worst ever

This hotel is very shameful for the name "Travelodge" and the name "Wyndham".  I am a Wyndham timeshare owner and stayed at a few hotels.  This by far was my worst hotel experience ever.  We arrived and was told by the only gentleman there, that the computers were down.  He also told us, he doesn't work there but is standing in for the Manager "Mr. B".  He does this sometimes to help him out (he is actually the grounds keeper for the beautiful hotel next door).  So, since I booked on line, he asked me to write my name down and he could issue me keys for a room.  I could come back later and do an official check in when Mr. B arrives back at 10pm.  We proceeded to our room and upon opening the door, a strong order of marijuana came right at us.  The dresser drawer was leaning and busted all at the bottom.  The bath tub was horrible and I lifted one side of the mattress and there appeared to be either dirt or ashes under the mattress.  We went back and I was behind of a couple whom I thought was going to check in, but they already had, and was giving him back the key stating "someone is already in that room".  He was going to issue them another room and they said "no thank you, we will find another place".  I proceeded to tell him, I was with them and explained what the room looked and smelled like.  He told me he understood and to call back at 10.  So I did and spoke to Mr. B.  He said that he will NOT charge my card.  Today, I got my statement and he charged my card.  I've put in a complaint with Wyndham and hope they take their name off of this Hotel.
