What a lovely stay for our 1st time in Wildwood. Location was perfect even in the off season we found wonderful holiday activities. We loved the convenience to Cape May as well. This is something I would normally not book, but so glad we did.  Room was clean and the staff was exceptional, especially the receptionist.  They even gave us a little gift as we were celebrating a birthday.

This motel was not as advertised. The floor plan didn't reflect what was actually in the room. Shower was dirty, showerhead was loose, soap from the previous guest was still on top of the shower, the window leaked because of Tropical Storm Ophelia, and the toilet leaked.

Speaking of Tropical Storm Ophelia, we tried to cancel because of not feeling safe going down because of the storm but was told we couldn't cancel without a refund so we went down. Luckily the storm wasn't as bad as we thought. Plus we were getting down there late and was told someone will be in the office until 10pm but we got there before 10pm and nobody was there. Had to call the number and wait in the wind for 10 minutes. We were also going to pay in cash when we got there but to find out that they ran my card without my permission to train someone.

I will not stay at this so called Motel ever again! 

Bad Stay

I spent $796 to book two nights at this hotel from 8/23 to 8/25. My entire family got bit by bed bugs all over our bodies. We reported it to the hotel front desk, who gave us a cream for the bug bites. The beds were filthy and small. After checking out, we had to see a doctor because of the extreme itching and redness from the bed bug bites. Management doesn't want to deal with this issue. We had to wash and dry everything once we got home to ensure we didn't bring bugs home. This is a horrible hotel like nothing I’ve ever had to deal with before.

Hotel wouldn’t let me cancel and also told me I wouldn’t get charged for the booking or the cancellation fee. Booking price ended up going through and I couldn’t get my money back. This place was horrible and did not help me with anything.

I would like to thank the young lady at the front desk that made it possible for my family vacation to be saved. She was so helpful and went above and beyond for us. 
Long story short we had to relocate to this hotel due to the original hotel I had chosen ended up being inhabitable. We enjoyed our stay here and the vicinity was fairly clean. Our room was clean and Acs worked pretty good. With this being a last minute switch of hotels for us, it worked out great. The location is right on the boardwalk. We did end up losing power but that wasn’t the hotels fault it and it came back up within a hour.. although still scary.

Sunmer 23 family visit

The hotel has lost some of its luster since the covid and change of ownership.But we see a volunteer to make things better.Our hotel was the best in Wildwood for its location, facilities and especially its extreme cleanliness.The only big drawback is that some employees smoke marijuana in the parking lot underneath the hotel and the smell spreads it on the balconies.The staff are very kind.

A hotel that deserves a second chance.

This time it was very quiet, just a few rooms occupied, but we had a great time, the barbecue alone for us, a well-equipped kitchen and a very pleasant staff.

We wanted peace of mind and we got it.

We stayed at the heart of wildwood and this trip was a disaster.  The room had a constant sewer smell that was never addressed.  The beds were dressed with dirty sheets and when we removed them, the mattress was even worse.  One mattress was full of springs with no padding.  When we book, all pools were open only to arrive and find out the rooftop pool was closed with no warning.  Front desk staff apologize and say they will fix the issue and have someone contact us. We are over a month out with no responses to emails or phone.  New owners are horrible.  We also booked the condos with having a bbq at our location. Had to walk a block away to use the one dirty bbq they had on location.  We stood by this place during covid and let them hold out money for two years until we could be given a room without complaining and this was how they said thank you.  A smelly room with dirty sheets minus amenities they promised at bookings.  We will never stay here again.

Gone downhill.  Avoid.

We spent 2 ngihts here, family of 4. It was intersting as it was our first time at the Jersey shore with our kids. The room was ok, the towels smelled like no soap had been used when they were washed. Other than that, the room was ok. The AC was loud but it worked and the fridge did its job. We parked the car the entire time we were there and that was great. Perfect location to the beach and boardwalk. The only issue we had was that our room smelled like weed pretty bad on our first night. The room next door smelled on the outside as well. It is supposed to be a non-smoking motel but they def do not enfirce that. Although the motel is on a busy street, it was relatively quiet, it felt safe at all times but it was not cheap for what we got. Not sure if we would stay again if we are ever in the area again. We might look for something a bit nicer. We did not use any of the pools. We were simpy told 2 pools were open but given no other info by the man at check in which I wish he had taken a few min to tell us about the roof top one.

2 night stay

We had an interesting stay at AA Heart of Wildwoods.  We were provided a very small room with no view for a ridiculous price.   Fine, we are in Wildwood on a busy summer weekend so we get it.     The room was clean and housekeeping cleaned each day.   The grounds were not as well kept as we would like .  The ashtray cans around the hotel (which are disgusting to begin with and should be removed as an eye sore) were not emptied at any point during the 3 days we were there.   The pool was fine.  A bit cold but exactly as expected.  The location is near everything so If you want that you are in good shape.  

The problem we had was at checkout.    When we returned on our final night there was no parking.  They have a "valet" service and they said they would park our car and we can get it the next day.  We informed the service (which I understand is hired outside of the property) that we had to check out very early at 7am for our baseball tournament and he said it was no problem.  Just call the onsite staff number on the door and someone would get your keys.  Welp we called for over an hour and nobody answered.   Nobody was in the office.   We contacted the police and every number on file was no answer.  All of my sons baseball stuff was in the car and we were unable to get anything out of the car or  leave to actually go to my sons game.  Finally at 8am the valet service showed up and got the keys.   We were late to the game and that was disappointing and frustrating.  Why have valet service if nobody is available to provide the service on a Sunday morning and why have an onsite contact number if nobody is there to answer it?   On a Sunday morning check out day ?    What if there was a real emergency at the motel?   We were told a manager would contact us.
