Really do not understand how they received a rating of 4 stars. If I could give it 0 stars I would We stayed in Room 44. The room is very old and extremely outdated. The bathroom was tiny, no tub just a tight shower. I am not a big person and found it hard to shower. There was no hair dryer, no towel rack no toilet paper holder in the bathroom. Also sink was really tiny . There was a medicine cabinet above the sink but beware it sticks out and the sink is so small I almost hit my head while I was rinsing after brushing my teeth. The room did not have a closet. It had a dropped ceiling with stained tiles. Had 2 lamps but the light bulbs were so dim. The light switches when you first walk in do not work and are really old .Felt really dirty that it made me feel itchy. Thankfully it was just a 2 night stay and I spent most of the time out of the room. The beds were hard as a rock and so uncomfortable with no headboard. Would never stay here again even if the room was free. They need to do some major renovations!

Find another place to stay!

I went there with my girlfriend for a cute getaway. We wound up meeting the family that owns the property. The granddaughter was doing Cocaine with her friends out in the open by the pool & she even tried to have sex with my girlfriend & I...  Absolutely disgusting. I believe she said her name was Dana. I won't be returning.

This is an ok motel. Parking is bad. Spaces are very tight. Went out Fri. and Sat. night and when we came back, there were no parking spaces. They do not enforce the rules. Kids under 16 in pool unsupervised. Would not stay here again

Old style wildwood motel.
A bit on the run side but clean. Wildwood does not have "Big Box"hotels so its basically whats left of the seasonal mom and pop motels or a condo rental so dont expect much from any motel in this area. Basically over priced run down old motels is all there is here so just know what to expect. 
With that said i found the Fountain to be clean and it served its purpose. Its a decent place to sleep and thats it. Parking spaces are tight and not enough if the place is full  so if you care about dings in your door consider a street spot which is only free midnight to 8am.
Pool is a basic "parking lot pool" its clean and it gets you wet but its no resort style pool.The location is good,Uncle Bills pancake house and dinner are within walking distance. The boardwalk also a easy walk but your not exactally in the center of attractions. 
So if your getting a reasonable price go for it but dont over pay. 

I don’t know if I have enough words. Aged, filthy microwave hair hanging from blow dryer. Ants wifi sucks couldnt get unless we were in the so called deck cable ya ok no dirty towels very unhappy shame on them pay for ice. dirty curtain in kitchen, rusty hangers. Don’t look at the pictures on the site and expect that because  u will not.  The place was a disgrace I was so embarrassed that I brought my grandchildren there. I could go one and on. Outside is cluttered look behind hotel piles of garbage I have pictures also !! Very shameful

Nitemare !

We stayed here for 2 nights at the start of October! The location is perfect, one block from the boardwalk and lots of restaurants within walking distance. Definitely recommend dogtooth, it's a few mins from the motel and they have a great happy hour with delicious food. The staff at the motel are friendly, welcoming and efficient. The room was clean, quiet and the bed is so comfortable! We will definitely stay again when we visit wildwood next! 

Great stay- definitely recommend!

I stayed here for 3 days. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was very pleased upon arrival. This motel is privately owned and the owner treats the establishment as though it's his own home. He and his daughter were very welcoming and made it a pleasure to stay there. It was clean, quiet and conveniently located close to the boardwalk and many great restaurants. On my second night there, the AC in the room stopped working. The owner along with an electrician were there the same night working to get the unit running again. This spoke volumes. I will be returning to Wildwood, and I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Two thumbs up... 

Beyond expectations

Very nice place to stay, an older building but the rooms were clean and the staff was very nice. The owner was friendly and helpful with our visit. Really great location. Near the Convention center. Will go back again.

I made my reservation by booking, as always we arrived at the hotels at night after completing the tours so we just wanted to rest. When we opened the door of the designated room, there was a smell of a dead person in the room, the most unpleasant, we immediately requested a change of room so that the reassigned room was no longer so odorous we found an old room, uncomfortable beds, a game of saunas, obsolete TV and antique bathroom. I wanted to get out of there running. I couldn't reconcile my sleep knowing that my children who were meaban were going to be spending an unpleasant time with me, no other option due to the hour.

No, it's been my best stay in hotels.

A clean comfortable room for $50 a night?  YES!  My annual September visit always includes this hotel.  This year, I tried the pool after a hot morning biking the boardwalk.  The water was fantastic - VERY comfortable.  The rooms are kept clean and have a nice, cheery decor. Bathroom / Shower is clean and comfortable. Bed is also comfy.  I have such great memories of staying at beach motels like this with my parents when I was young and I'm so glad to see there are some still around.  Julie and Cora are fantastic....the almond cookies in the morning are great too!!
