The room was outdated, we got the king room with kitchenette. The bathroom had a clogged sink, there is no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash in the shower. You are given two tiny bars of soap to use. The king bed had sheets and NO COMFORTER! There is no hair dryer or iron if you’re looking for one. There was a half used roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, the TP holder was broken so you have to find a place to put it.  For what you pay to stay there I highly do not recommend it.  We were given one key and you had to pay a $20 deposit for it. I have never heard of such a thing!  The walls are very thin, you can hear every sound the people make next to you. The only positive I have was the location was good, it’s in a nice area right by the beach.

Wouldn’t stay there again

Family owned :This hotel is right on the beach, spacious rooms, always clean, the owners are so kind and willing to help with anything you need. I LOVE COMING HERE EVERY YEAR LOOK FOWARD TO SEEING THEM .

Nice place, nice owners, great location! Very reasonable prices, great pool, family owned & operated. Terrific views of the ocean- several room types to choose from. You can’t get any closer to the beach!

Great family motel!

I booked Apollo motel without looking at the reviews.  My bad! It cost me big.  Not the money but the sickness of this place.  Beside its infected,  the people working there are weird.  If you asked for something you will get an uncomfortable response.  Rooms are dirty and smelly.  We all got some weird eczema after stay. The bathroom has a constant sewer smell.  Bathtub drain almost clogged.  Sofa bed broken,  toilet seat broken.  After my booking I read few reviews,  and called then right away thinking of canceling. I asked Mike about the bed reviews and he assure me that they don't reflect the reality.  Believing him it was my mistake.  My child was asking about the wifi Mike just ignore him.  I only found 2 towels in room and we were 4 in a one bedroom suite.  I went to the office,  ignored,  after a while someone else coming out,  asked me rudely what I want the throw at me 2 more.  Done.  Not going back.

Old smelly dirty

I had some hesitation booking here after reading some of the reviews.  Upon check in, we found our room clean. We did wipe everything down with wipes to be sure.  Due to Covid, they don’t have housekeeping services during your stay. A dustpan & broom would have been nice for the sand. We took out our own trash & asked for clean towels as needed. It’s not a 5 star hotel, but better than expected for the Jersey shore. 
My only complaint would be the rudeness of the other guests. There were a couple of large groups with multiple rooms. These groups took over the pool, parking lots and grill areas. Basically any common areas. They took the plastic (hotel owned) chairs from the front of our room.  They played loud music. Just very inconsiderate people.

Owners were rude. No daily maid. Had to ask for towels, garbage bags, etc. Ants all over. Had to pay extra for handicap because no ramp or elevator. No handicap bathroom at all. Had to bath my husband standing outside shower with his walker. Not enough blankets and pillows. Room had horrible smell of mildew.

Not a nice place.

We booked with 3 other relative families.  I cannot state more emphatically what a gargage heap this is.  Chips in the toilet seat, down to the bare wood; black mold/mildew on shower curtain; RUST on shower head; sheets that were thin as paper and STUNK; NO maid service, so you have to bring your dirty towels to the attendant daily to get a fresh one; air conditioner STUNK.  Pretty sure the toilet wax ring is shot because you could smell RAW SEWAGE emanating from the bathroom; pool not treated with enough chlorine; stolen beach towel.  DUMP, GROSS, FILTHY, UNSANITARY, ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PLACE I'VE STAYED IN 40 YEARS.

DISGUSTING

The best aspect of this hotel is the location on the beach.  The owners are rude and disrespectful, as others mention.  No customer service skills what so ever.  The 1 room efficiency we had was not at all like the photos.   Old, dirty, have to hold handle to flush toilet, bathroom fan sounds like a jet engine, shower is a mist and the liner sticks to you.  No pretty bedspreads and beds were extremely uncomfortable.     I would never stay there again or recommend it.

Run as fast as you can!

So let's just start out with the good things 
It's a nice place because it's practically on the beach. Everything else goes downhill from there. Not a family place. Lots of drinking games going on and the police came two of the three nights we were there . Can't imagine staying for a week. 
They don't give you fresh bath towels the take the ones you used and hang them back up..?? Omg.. I was mortified. The room had that horrible musty smell. No blankets or comforter on the bed. The place was littered with empty alcohol beverages and cigarettes. Thank God it was beautiful weather we stayed out most of our trip. Only to shower and sleep that's all I would suggest doing here. Management don't even ask how was your stay when you check out.. I guess he doesn't want to hear your answer. 

An experience not of the good kind

This is a beachfront property. Rooms are clean.  It’s about a 5 minute walk to the Wildwood Crest boardwalk and 40 minutes walk to the Wildwood boardwalk. Family friendly environment. Most of the guests were family. Location is very quiet in the evening
