When we checked in, the front desk staff was very friendly.  They upgraded us to a suite which had 2 bedrooms. Although the beds were a little hard, the place was clean.  The pool was nice.  On a budget, this isn't a bad place to stay at all.  The beach is very close.  The furniture needs updating but our room was clean and spacious. 

Better than expected!

We were only going to two days and I wanted to be close to the beach. This motel was satisfactory. Since looking at these photos previously posted, I believe our room was updated. The sheets and towels were clean. In these days of covid, I did bring wipes and wiped every surface before i put anything down. The beds and pillows, however were very uncomfortable. Lumpy mattress and flat lumpy pillows. Two days of no sleep. But we were close to the beach. Just a five minute walk. 

Mini vacation 

There was a cute dog next door, a seven week old fluff to be exact. 11/10 I dont even care about the black mold in the kitchen or the loose live wires in the bedroom because that was straight up the cutest dog I have ever seen.

The Cozy Crest is not the prettiest motel in Wildwood, but what they lack in style they make up in service. The rooms are average, economical designs. We had a two double bed and pull out couch room with one bathroom. It was clean. They gave us discounts on the number of dogs we had and we also received a nice discount by paying in cash. We couldn't use the pool because of the restrictions, but the room was on the first floor which was convenient. The location is great. One block from the beach and two blocks from Sunset Bay. The dogs loved their walks along the bay in the morning and evening. If you take your pet to Cozy Crest, I suggest you try the dog beach on 25th Ave. It was incredible. My Boston Terrier loved the ocean. He chased waves and went in many times.

When was this last updated? The 70s? That’s really nasty. I’ve never been to this hotel, but I’m not planning to any time soon. Those pictures are gross. All I had to do was look up "worst reviewed hotel" in wildwood out of curiosity, and I think I found it.

Me and my friends always come here and leave with a smile every time! Nice rooms, cheap prices and the owner is so awesome and accommodating!! I recommend this hotel to everyone!! Great for last minute booking also!!

This has to be the dirtiest & run down motel in all of Wildwood Crest We went in July & I will never stay there again. Everything is run down & has not been updated in years. There were dirty used mattresses leaning against the building.  Worse experience I ever had at the Jersey shore  

Worst Motel

Hotel needs a lot of renovation and more money. Book only if you are looking for a clean bed to sleep a couple of nights. Don' t expect more than that. The owner is a really good person, but the place needs a lot of money and love.

We booked our night in the cozy crest on the way to Wildwood. We weren't expecting much the price was very reasonable and the old saying you get what you pay for surely came true.  The room was very clean with the exception of the windows, you couldn't see out of the windows. very minimal furnishings. Our main complaint was that the air conditioning vents blew directly on the bed closest to the bathroom and we were freezing half the time and when it went off it got warm. We should've moved to the other bed but we're too tired. So it might've been better had we switched. It was OK for a one night stay.

Last minute stay

This is a very dingy motel, with a cheap appeal that at times made me feel like I was in a third world country. Especially, should you use the left-side entrance! The room boasted a much different appeal upon entering, and for this we were pleased! The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was top notch, with a large jacuzzi-like tub that served its purpose well. Unfortunately, the register grills for the air-conditioning vents were installed upside-down. Because of this, the bed closest to the bathroom made 70 degrees feel like a frigid 57! Before you rent Room 210, make sure to pack a phillips-head screwdriver to turn the register grills around. . . Or you could always suffer! This motel has a pool, and is quite small. There is roof access to a patio that can be accessed from either side. On one end are all the Air Conditioner condenser units humming loudly. On the other side, there is a broken umbrella within a sturdy glass table, along with several small metal tables positioned around it. Also, there are rows of unembellished earth colored lounge chairs, situated upon a large expanse of weathered 2x4's from one end to the other. Keep your children away from the protective porch balusters, as they are withered, and very much in need of repair. Upon entrance, an asthmatic may feel the urgency to reach for his or her inhaler! This motel has all the charm and allure of a cheap seventies slasher flick, but we enjoyed it nonetheless! “Raj” at the counter who handed us our key was genuinely eager to help with everything he could!
