Oh man, these hotel owners were something else Ok so i rented a room over priced at 10 pm but what are you going to do at 10pm. I have 4 small children so i get a 2 full bed suit after i rented the room the woman told me i have to pay 65 more for a three bed bedroom room because it was illegal to have more than 2 kids in a bed. I told them to refund my money. They refused and as i was yelling at them to give me my money back they were trying to antagonize me and berate me i realized they had already called the police so i started telling all of their other guests exactly what they were trying to do to rip me off. The entire time the man was trying to get me to come out of the lobby so nobody else would find out what was going on!  Some of the guests seemed concerned. At first they did not want to give me a cent back, then the cops came he explained his case, they saw i was not under the influence of anything so they told the hotel people to refund my money. The cop told me there was no law about how many people can sleep in one bed so they were forced to refund my money except the a**h*ls ended up keeping $25 dollars for cleaning fees. I will say that these were some of the nastiest, shiesty hotel owners i ever met they watch everything you do on their cameras like they are investigators. It's like being in prison i am sure they have alot of problems with customers after they treat them like total crap. To tell you the truth the cops were not much help as they kept telling me they could not make them pay a full refund because it was a "civil matter" figures they would back the hotel owners to some degree i mean they get paid from the city taxes after people like these steal money from out of state peopl

Ripped me off and called the cops on me for telling the other guests they ripped me off!

Basic not all that great, air conditioning unit was so loud and noisy bathroom is way too tine, terrible towels, super rough and smells like beach, don’t like that each guest room has an ashtray on each table there should be a designated smoking area not outside each room, not friendly owners at all sorry won’t be returning

Place is nice enough.  Older but clean.  Nothing special.  Beds have seen some miles.  Across the street from the beach.  Grounds were nicely kept.  Owners did seem to be watching you and limited maid service.  Not a lot of extras.  They provide a coffee maker with no K-cups.

We stayed one night in the Blue Water Motel, as the Villa Nova Motel across the street was full that particular night, forcing us to move.

But this turned out to be a great revelation, as this room had just about everything we'd had at the other place, and was cheaper. And the room was very clean.

We were in room 110, which had 2 double beds, TV, A/C, a 6 drawer bureau, table and 4 chairs, 1 arm chair, a full fridge, microwave, 2 burner stove, sink, coffee maker (but you had to buy the $1.50 K-cups at the office), toaster, pots/pans, plates, glasses, silverware knives, a dish drying rack and an exhaust fan. There was also a power strip for all your plugs. The floor was a wood floor.

The beds only had sheets on them, but there were blankets in a cupboard.

The bathroom had a tub and shower. The toilet paper holder was high, as they fastened it above the tiled part of the wall.

The ice across the hall, cost 25 cents for a good amount. (And it could be stored in the full freezer, so it didn't melt).

We didn't use the pool in our short stay. And we didn't cross the street to get to the nearby access path to the beach. The pool is covered at night.

The parking was free. Checkout time was 10 AM, which seemed early.

We would stay there again.

A clean basic room with kitchen facilities

Worst  place to stay.  The air conditioning was so loud you could not sleep. There was no air flow.  You could not open up the windows. The room is tiny and the blankets are very worn. There was also a mildew smell. We paid for two nights but left after one night.

This motel was amazing! The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful! The motel was thoroughly clean and you always saw them cleaning and keeping things nice. The atmosphere was very family friendly. The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. It is an ideal location away from the busy boardwalk. It was a close walk to the beach. I can’t say enough great things!

Awesome Motel!

We booked on trip advisor last minute. $429 for the room. 
It was absolutely the most overpriced stay I have every experienced.
The hotel has shredded bath linens and toilet paper so thin that there is a strip of thicker paper to hold the actual paper together. The rooms are tiny. No one welcomed us to the room, it was the least welcoming and personal experience you could possibly imagine. I think these reviews are false and that they paid for them or something I'm contacting trip advisor about this. SHAME ON YOU to the family who runs this hotel. They are not friendly and fully taking advantage of people on holiday. KEEP YOUR PRICES STEADY and don't increase them based on demand when your hotel is a shanty.

I stayed at Blue Water Motel for the first time this past weekend and let me just say that my experience was FAR BETTER than I imagined. I was a bit skeptical when booking because of my past experience with other motels, but Blue Water changed my mind within the first 5 minutes. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the weekend, the rooms were cleaned so well that they looked brand new, and the distance from the beach is unbeatable. A MUST STAY FOR YOUR NEXT TRIP TO WILDWOOD!!!!

Will be booking again!

I stayed here this past weekend and the room staff was really friendly, and beds were nicely made and clean. There is a convenient cafe across the street that I went to for brunch, and the beach is <2 min walk. Super convenient location, would definitely go back this summer if I get the chance to!

Great service and location, clean too

This motel was absolutely amazing. The rooms were clean and my kids loved the pool. The kitchen was impeccable in the rooms and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay for my family. It’s affordable and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend staying here if your looking for somewhere in wildwood crest to stay
