Staff was nice enough but room (above office) had so much air deodorizer we wondered what stench was being covered up! It was almost unbearable. 
The pool had a somewhat smelly odor one evening as well.  They still have actual keys and door to rooms above office not secure. Overall a poo hole.

rooms and location were fine ,,, check in was supposed to be at 2pm, room wasnt ready, 3.5 hours later still  not ready , cleanng staff was gone , "upgraded" to a room with 1 less bed , had to ask for a tiny crappy cot , could have switched to original room the next day but didnt want to pack up clothes nd groceries , upon checkout when i complained about our check in issues i was told . WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ... paid original full price for smaller room and TERRIBLE SERVICE  ,,, friends in the next room got stuck in their room due to faulty lock and were told ...YOU SHOULDNT HAVE USED THE DEADBOLT THEY DONT WORK .  VERY UNCARING STAFF

terrible customer service

We went in not expecting much from this motel. We stayed on the third floor and the views of the ocean were nice. The pool looked refreshing (we didn’t have the chance to use it). The room was severely outdated - bathroom was mustard yellow from the 70s, old fridge, old pull out couch. We received one key (actual metal key) for the room. Door didn’t seem terribly secure (you could deadbolt from inside so it was secure when we were IN the room, just wasn’t going to leave anything of value in room when we were not there.) The experience was fine until we were about to leave. We packed up most of our things into the car and walked to get breakfast. Came back to the room to cool off afterwards and make sure we didn’t leave anything behind. When we got back, the cleaning staff was already in the room changing it for the next guest - BEFORE we checked out! That didn’t leave me with a good feeling at all!

Low expectations

i highly dislike the owners of this hotel. They are extremely inconsiderate and don’t respect privacy. The only staff member that seemed to care was Jay. Even the staff member who checked us in had an attitude and managed to make fun of our friends to our faces. The owner also took very inappropriate pictures of two of my girl friends without their consent. I would never return to this place again, there were stains on the wall and the bed sheets were not clean. The rooms all smelt like cigarettes and did not seem family friendly. TV didn’t work, maintenance in the air conditioner was not up to date. Do not recommend for anyone.

Terrible!!

Awful management and staffing. Besides jay. He was great.  Everyone else treated us poorly.Stained counters and carpets. Musty feeling inside. Gave us ONE TOWEL. For four people. I would never recommend this motel or ever consider returning. horrible time.

Ruined our trip. Wouldn’t recommend.

Dirty disgusting motel. Horrible customer service. MY SON WAS SICK and they would rather us stay at the motel than to refund our money. Think twice before staying here. I am extremely annoyed at the lack of consideration during this pandemic.

DO NOT STAY HERE

Spent 3 days with our 18 yr son along. Enjoyed the large room with full kitchen and having 2 tv's( one was an old style that could use some updating) it allowed my son to have his own space. Pool is new and large that was wonderful. Nice grill and patio area and a upper deck lounge area. Nice views out to the ocean easy short walk into a nice section of beach. Boardwalk is about a mile walk to the beginning. I clean for a living and could certainly pick on some dusting and better wiping down of things but I felt the room was adequately cleaned and new towels were provided without having to hunt someone down for them. I thought the price was great its not fancy could use better locks on the doors we only had 1 key we had to play with to get in the door. Parking is super tight like you can't open your car door tight but i understand they were just trying to make best use of their limited space. I stayed at Ocean view a few years ago stay away from there Diamond Crest is so much better would definitely stay again. Check in staff was friendly and efficient. 

Good value and location 

i booked this room because i was told all the rooms were ocean front from the person i booked the room with at the hotel.  I wanted to have a relaxing three days looking at the ocean with my daughters.  The rooms are not ocean front.  Some of them are ocean view but they are dirty and smell like urine.  I complained and asked for my money back and was told no refund.  I gave the women my keys to two rooms and checked into another hotel.  Please don't book this hotel.

Terrible hotel

We stayed here for two nights, checked out and went to another hotel for the rest of our stay in Wildwood Crest. The refrigerator in our room was filthy and broken, the room was gross (dusty, dirty handprints in the wall, stains on the couch and carpets). Old box TVs with a broken remote, tampon left in the drawer, door and lamp were broken, holes & nails in the walls. We arrived at the hotel on a Saturday, people were all over the sidewalks and balconies smoking, drinking, and blasting music. NOT a family friendly environment. Towels and swimsuits were all over the place.  Woke up to a Four Loko and a pack of Newport’s outside the door. If you’re planning on traveling here with your family, reconsider.

Book A Different Hotel

I was excited to spend some time at the beach with my daughters before college. I was told I would have a flat screen TV and what I got were two old TV's with one remote that didn't work and the other one had batteries falling out. I spent a total over $460 for one night that was horrible. Broken room door, dirty rug, marks on the couch that were questionable. I walk into the lobby and notice that no one was wearing masks. People were in the pool and at cooking like Covid19 didn't exist. I understand that people need to live but this was quite disturbing to say the least. I couldn't believe that state of this motel Stay away!
