Wildwoods Beach

If you love the beach, this is a great location.  Merely walk out the hotel to the left, and the road dead ends right to the beach.  The beach is huge and looks like you could walk for miles on it.
 The room I was in, was on the small side.  There were two double beds. There was a small refrigerator and microwave in the room, which was nice.  There wasn't a coffee maker in the room, but they offer coffee in the lobby starting at 8am. Since I wake up early, and like coffee first thing in the morning, I bought coffee the night before, and reheated it in the morning. 
The staff was very friendly and welcoming.  
Parking was very convenient and right outside the building. 

Great location for the beach

It's a motel -- looks like every other motel in Wildwood & Wildwood Crest -- but clean, with spacious rooms that include a stove and refrigerator so we could make ourselves omelettes every morning. Complimentary coffee in the office.  If you're on the first floor, everyone walking by can look right into your room, so keep the shades drawn.  Nice pools for the kids.  Courteous service.  Very good housecleaning.  Half a block from the beach -- 5 minute walk to water's edge.  

A motel,  but a good one.

We are here for the Escape the Cape Triathlon.
We checked in yesterday and already we are being treated like family!!!
They offered us coffee for our room since we had to head over to Cape May at 3am to work the race.
The room is spotless and the pool area is awesome. Slept well.
It’s a wonderful place to stay with family or friends.
We recommend  the Biscayne highly!

They treat you like family!!

This was our first time on the NJ coast, and we picked Biscayne Family Resort based on price, photos showing clean rooms and closeness to the beach.  When we arrived, we were blown away by the friendliness and hospitality of Patrick and the staff we interacted with.  We were checked in well ahead of scheduled time and when we got to our room, we were very impressed by the cleanliness, how well equipped the room was and the way we saw staff doing maintenance and upkeep. There are a ton of hotels/motels in the area, but we have made Biscayne Family Resort our destination for return trips to Wildwood Crest. We definitely love the area and, the folks we met!

Scouting Trip

The staff at the Biscayne treat their guests like family. The rooms are comfortable, the pools are clean and well-maintained.  And, it's literally a block from the beach.  We've been going to Wildwood for ages, and have tried many different hotels.  This one we'll be sticking with for the foreseeable future!

BUYER BEWARE
I had called to inform the Biscayne I tested positive for Covid 5 days before my check in date in late June. When speaking with them, I was unable to transfer my deposit. I can understand this policy so I left it at that.
An hour later I get an email saying my reservation has been cancelled. I emailed them back saying I never cancelled it and if I was not feeling better by day 5 I would call the morning of check in to cancel it officially. They told me it had already been cancelled and if I wanted to try to still come, I would owe a second deposit & ran the risk of loosing that too if I was still sick and having symptoms.
When calling the second time, the front desk was weary about me still trying to come, having tested positive the week prior... but you cant have it both ways! You cannot keep someone's deposit and also tell them you don't want them to come??
I have stayed at the Biscayne for 10+ years with family friends and none of us will be returning after this. We would be down to the shore at least 4/5 times within the season and we will be looking to stay else where after this incident... real shame!!

Clean interior and exterior.  Hardworking and friendly staff. We have found our spot and love it!  Ice machine. Two pools.  Close walk to beach or bay.  Friendly housekeeping staff. No complaints honestly.  Family owned and we appreciate managemt working with us to accommodate our big group. We will be back!

Great family place

This was our first time staying at the Biscayne.  Owner, Management and Staff are accommodating to the needs of guests.  Their attention to detail is evident throughout the property.  The room we had was not only clean but tastefully updated.  You will not find mold, mildew, slipshod repairs or sloppy painting here.  Over the years, we have stayed at a dozen or so motel/hotels on the island, most have been pretty good.   Our experience at the Biscayne was top notch.

Cleanest place you’ll find!  Great family-run motel in The Crest. Rates are comparable to others in the area but the cleanliness and hospitality are top-notch.  Our family has enjoyed coming here for decades and don’t see that changing anytime soon!

Great family-oriented place to stay.

We missed our stay due to delayed air connections and it was too late to cancel. To get reimbursement with our travel insurance company I called to get a simple email saying I did not check in. Women who answered insisted that I take down my review before they would comply!! My review (via Expedia) said simply "could not check in due to delayed flights!". When I questioned the lady (who was being coached by a guy in the background) she got nasty and hung up.
