My husband and I went here for a weekend getaway. We had a wonderful time. The Inn was very nice and staff was helpfully. Loved the Victorian look. Room was clean and continental breakfast was wonderful. We would stay here again. 👍

Weekend stay

We loved staying at the Inn! The room was comfortable, large and clean.  All of the pillows are very firm, so if you like your pillows softer you might want to bring your own. The breakfast was great, best pastry offerings I've seen at a buffet recently. The location is very convenient to many attractions in Amish country. The staff is wonderful! If we visit the area again we would definitely stay here. 

Charming and conveniently located!

I stayed at the Amish Door Inn with my daughter and two year old grand daughter.  The Inn is really nice and the grounds and view are beautiful.  The room was clean and comfy.  There is a nice pool and a playground.  The staff is very friendly.  Breakfast was really nice.  Could not ask for more.  We will definitely stay here again.  

A perfect place to stay in Amish Country !!

The Inn at Amish Door is by far the best hotel in Amish Country and surrounding areas. We have visited several Inns throughout the area over many years, and have never been as pleasantly surprised as we were when we finally stayed at The Inn at Amish Door. The location was beautiful and peaceful, the rooms were immaculate and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and kind. We will never stay at another hotel in Amish country again, because we thoroughly enjoyed our stay from the first minute we arrived until the very last minute that we left. Thank you to everyone at The Inn at Amish Door! We are anxiously awaiting our next visit!

Best hotel in Amish Country

My husband and I stayed in the remodeled private patio room and it was wonderful. The bathroom was amazing with a stylish large jacuzzi tub and huge shower.  We sat on the patio and watched a distant thunderstorm over farm hillsides. The bed was firm and very comfortable. The room was huge with 2 big screen tvs, fireplace, kitchenette. Manager gave us recommendations for local hiking spot that was beautiful. Included Breakfast was delicious 

Private Patio Room-worth it!!!

This place is beautiful and extremely clean and well kept .The view was breathtaking . Thank you for a great experience. The breakfast which is included had waffles, eggs, bacon , cereal, pastries and just about anything you would need . 

Beautiful 

The hotel features a nice outdoor space for when the weather is good.   The breakfast had multiple choices, from eggs with sausage and/or bacon, to mini waffles, donuts, or cereal.   The hot tub and pool were nice, though they should be resurfaced.

Nice place to stay.

After a rainy day we arrived for our night stay.  The staff was very welcoming. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The property was so beautiful and peaceful.  It was Sunday so the other businesses on the property were closed but we knew ahead of time and had our own picnic outside on a stunning deck.  We are going back in March to enjoy all it has to offer.

Peaceful Paradise

Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff.  Restaurant on the property is excellent.  We actually ate all of our meals there.   The breakfast which was included consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and biscuits/gravy.  There was also pastries and the usual cereal found at this type of offering.
Negatives?   The hotel is a bit pricey for the average person which in my case would limit the number of nights I would be able to stay.  We had one of the lower range rooms.   Including all the taxes it was over $200/night.  They also leave tip envelopes for the staff which is a real turn off to many. (Yes, we left a tip). The second negative which I will admit up front is nitpicking.   Wilmot, where the facilities are located is one of the more desolate areas.  I would venture that because of this many of the Inn guests eat at the restaurant here on the property quite often. It would be nice if they would change up the items on the buffet.  We ate there three times and the buffet was exactly the same.
All in all it was an excellent trip.  I can see us returning here to Amish country, staying at this location for a couple of days and then staying somewhere else due to cost considerations.

Try It, You’ll Like It!

The hotel's location was convenient to several towns with antique malls, craftsman workshops, Amish homesteads, and great museums.  The rolling hills around the property make for beautiful sunsets that can be viewed from the hotel's large balcony. Plenty of comfy seating and firepits made this my favorite spot.  The furnishings lean towards 80's upscale country (think brass fixtures, floral upholstery,  and oak trim) but does not look as though it has been in use that long. Everything was clean, clean, clean! Our beds were very comfortable with nice sheets and fluffy pillows. Our standard room was very large with a bay window that extended the space even further. The only area that wasn't appealing to me was the indoor hot-tub next to the pool.  The tiles have rust stains and some are chipped so it could really use a facelift.  The indoor pool area in general was nothing special, but is probably a welcome treat during the colder months.
