This is my second time staying at Cuomo's Cove. Even though I still love it there and the views are amazing (especially during fall foliage), the property is in dire need of repairs and updating. Cabinet shelves were barely hanging on by a couple of screws, pots and pans were dingy and old, appliances were ancient, and the entire theme was set in the 1960s. The room didn't have everything you'd need to make meals (e.g. food processor, hand mixer, etc.); however, I felt the unit was equipped quite well to handle making a basic meal. Having been here before, and knowing I'd be making more elaborate meals on this trip, I was prepared and brought things from home that I knew I'd need. Even though it had its shortcomings, the beds were still very comfortable and the bathrooms clean. The units were very spacious, too. I think the only thing new was the TV. I don't know the size of it, but it was rather large and came with a DVD player. The outdoor deck is quite large as well, but seriously needs repainting. The jacuzzi was in great working order. And clean! Our room was overlooking the mountains and during peak fall foliage the views could be best described as "WOW!" It appears as if the property is run by new owners, but don't quote me on that. I just don't recall the new faces. The office had been moved from the front of the house to the side of the house, which I felt was more appropriate because before when you'd go to check in or out, you were literally walking into their livingroom separated by a built in desk. Now they have their own private office. Whether or not it's run by new management, the unfamiliar faces were extremely friendly and helpful in all aspects. Whenever we needed anything, they were there in a matter of minutes assisting us. The only thing I'd suggest is that they get the landline phones in working order in the units. One morning the power went out and there was no way to contact them because WiFi Calling was down and you can't get cell phone service from this location. What if there was a serious emergency??? And since the power was out, that also meant no hot water to shower. You had to drive to the main house looking all dirty and smelling nasty to tell them about the problem. It took several hours until the power was restored. Luckily, the owners did come around to tell us when the power would be restored once they were able to speak to someone at the electric company. The property is a short drive into town where you can find unique stores, a small grocery store, restaurants, and bars. And at least there you can get cell phone service. Even though I'd definitely stay here again, I hope sometime soon they invest a little money in their little hidden gem updating and repairing things. 

NEEDS RENOVATING AND UPDATING

Excellent Choice, had such an awesome weekend!!! We stayed in the Lincoln Cabin, it was very clean and cozy, Hot Tub was such a bonus! The weather was in the 70's which made my Birthday weekend even better. Everyone was friendly, the nature walk was great!! I will definitely return!!

BEST QUARANTINE BIRTHDAY!!!!

We stayed in the Madison Suite. Gorgeous view. Full kitchen, comfortable bedroom and living space. The deck is private with a grill, porch swing, seating and best of all the hot tub. We thoroughly enjoyed our first stay at Cuomo’s cove and look forward to planning a trip again. 

Getaway From the City

The sauna not in service due to Coronavirus, but hot tub is in service. I do agree there needs to be curtains up in the kitchen area, and cleaning solution for sauna. We didn’t use the bbq grill because it was chilly outside. But constant noise upstairs and I think it was the owners and their children causing the noise upstairs, I won’t be staying again, not enough amenities to waste my money again. There is no cell service, and their landline phone doesn’t work either. 
The ceiling fan does not work without the lights on, and AC is very loud.

Noisy upstairs from Madison suite

stayed here two weeks ago with my husband and I must say this place is a hidden gem. We were looking for a quiet secluded place to relax and recharge and Cuomo's Cove certainly delivered. Nicole is extremely nice and accommodating. I had some concerns about strong cleaning chemicals being used in the room prior to our visit as my husband is immuno compromised. Nicole remembered this soon as we arrived and she made sure to mention the room was aired out prior to our arrival and windows left open. Our unit was extremely clean smelled fresh and my husband had no reaction to any cleaning product odors. We had a full kitchen in our unit and a full bathroom on first floor as well as a half bath in loft area, comfortable bed . Jacuzzi on a private deck with a wonderful relaxing view. We are already planning a future return trip to Cuomo's Cove. The beat way to describe our visit is peaceful and serene. 
I can not think of anything negative to say this place is a definite must see.  

Cuomo's Cove a hidden gem

This is one of my new favorites! I tell everyone to come here because it is truly a magical private mountain getaway. Extremely accommodating, clean, and memorable. Looking forward to our next stay!

Best place ever!

Our stay for 2 nights in the Revere suite was outstanding and the private hot tub was an  exceptional added amenity to the suite. We were impressed with the location and amenities that were associated with the Revere suite.

Valentine's Stay

We stayed for 2 nights in the Revere Suite in September. It was perfect. By far my favorite thing was the private hot tub on the back deck. It was truly amazing to be in the hot tub and see the stars, feel the wind, breathe the air. Close 2nd was the fireplace/couch/chaise living room situation. So cozy & comfy. Everything was immaculate, 2 headed shower was also amazing. Didn't try the Jacuzzi tub because, hello, hot tub...but it looked great - clean & roomy. Bed was comfy and full kitchen was a plus. Coming back for a week when I get more vaca days in 2019. The roads around the property are dirt & rutted, need a little horsepower to get up the mountain but it is sure worth it. Didn't want to leave.

My New Favorite Getaway

I've stayed at the Madison and I was so impressed how clean the place was. You get a full kitchen, dining room, outdoor sauna and hot tub. I've stayed in November where it was quiet cold out and that fireplace was perfect at setting the mood with its warmth and sound of firewood burning. The outdoor smell of the pine trees was so refreshing to walk through. To finish the weekend with a grand slam we drove nearby to the Kaaterskill falls trail.

An exceptional getaway from NYC

We stayed in the Jefferson suite and it was wonderful! It had a full kitchen and it made it easy to bring food and cook meals right there which saved on the eating budget! The view is amazing from the deck. It is centrally located to many of the must do's on my list while we were there. We had a great time and I can't wait to book the next vacation!!
