Quiet and peaceful location. Good value for money.Great customer service, clean and comfortable beds, the bathroom looks spotless. If they can upgrade the outside floor ground and the garden, that's even better.

Clean and comfortable room

This place is the worst place I have ever seen! The rooms are dirty and smell like mold.  One of the rooms even had an electric space heater for heat. This place is very old and dingy and needs a complete overhaul. The owner is delusional, unprofessional and rude. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Anywhere else is better than this place!

We booked this online based on so many positive reviews. The reviews are deceiving. When we arrived and saw the condition of the rooms (after we paid), we immediately asked for a refund. We were polite and simply said that the room wouldn't work for us. He refused to help us and only wanted to argue. He ended up walking away and going inside. We had to stop payment on our credit card and go somewhere else. We found another motel in town that is about the same price but 10 times better.  I only wish I had thought to take pictures to show you.

Go somewhere else!

Like "cydwel" I was fooled by the reviews posted on Trip Advisor.  The only nice thing I can say is that the sleeping area was clean when I arrived.  However there was NO housekeeping service during my three night stay.  I had to track down the owner on arrival to register; he confused me with another reservation he had.  The refrigerator did not work but it was replaced with another quickly.  The cable box was positioned behind the TV and would not pick up signals from the remote.  Apparently there was a sensor that wasn't in the proper place, but I still had to go behind the TV to change the channel or view the guide after the owner repositioned the sensor.  I had to help myself to plastic and cardboard cups that were stacked outside one of the units.

A Disaster

All of the reviews praising this place were written before its sale to a new owner, who is not a doting and caring and prideful veteran. Trusting the reviews and Trip Advisor, we booked a reservation. After arrival, we were appalled. So much so that we left and got a room at another place in Winfield.

Do not buy the hype

I was just at the Liberty Inn for one night, but the owners really make you feel at home and they are obviously proud of their remodel of a small1950's motor lodge.  Its a nice, clean place with new furnishings and a really comfortable mattress.  Snacks, etc. were offered - free!  I was not able to stay for the continental breakfast which was offered as part of the lodging.  I have a feeling that I missed eating some fresh baked cinnamon rolls.  It is not far from the RR tracks, which was noticeable outside, but did not wake me up!
