We are taking our time cruising Route 66 and needed a place to stay in Winslow.
The street view wasnt too bad so we figured we would try the Winslow Inn.
They gave us an upstairs room with a queen size bed. The room was quite dark and the door did not close properly.  The bathroom was nasty! The bathtub was stained and the walls were bad as well.
The price was middle of the road for a motel. 
I would definitely not stay tjere alone nor would I stay there again.

Umm, well.....

First I would like to say that the management is VERY nice and helpful and that the room was clean and included a microwave and small fridge.   Now for the downside.  The rooms are very outdated and the furniture was shabby at best.  A chair in the room would had been nice too (no small table either), instead of having to sit on the bed (especially if you have a bad back).   The neighborhood is 'iffy', and there were some people partying in the parking lot.  They do allow pets for a minimum extra charge ($5.00), but trying to get my dog to a place where he could go was nerve wracking as there was quite a bit of broken glass in the parking lot and around the bushes.   Winslow is an interesting town when trying to find a motel.   You pay $$$ for mediocre motels, and try to avoid the dives.....so I guess this would be considered a 'middle of the road' for Winslow.   Make sure you check out the totem pole while in Winslow.  

Would use again, but nothing special

This hotel is right across the street from the Winslow Police Station, so its location is great. Check-in process was easy. Room had enough space, but it really needs an overhaul. The bed sheets are very 80's, the tub has been painted over and over and over, and you can clearly see where it has been fixed. I have to say the room was clean, but very old and dated. Noise level was low, which is greatly appreciated and the bed was comfortable at least. When I approached the lady at the front desk for advise on what to do around the area, she replied: "you can go to your phone and google it". I left the front desk completely baffled.

Upgrades needed.

The hotel is pretty worn. The price was okay. It is located right across from the new police station, so we considered it pretty safe. Room had refridge, microwave, and some cable TV. The bed was comfortable but shower was scary enough, I skipped it that night. I agree with others that is does need some updating.

Good location

The owners were extremely helpful and friendly so I hate to give them a low rating. The rooms are clean but dated and very worn. There tub and sink were stained. Really the whole room needs a revamping. Convenient walking to tourist block. 

Needs Updating

Came to Winslow for photography. Everything needs remodeling, the bathtub area had mold in the caulking, shower head worn out, woke up with a back ache, the bed was terrible. All of the electric outlets were so wore out I couldn't even plug in my computer as the plug would just fall out! The towels and sheets did smell clean and the manager was accommodating by adjusting the satellite tv channel that I wanted. Parking lot had dried mud in the parking spaces. I would not stay here again...

Needs a Complete Overhaul

We booked a room for one night. The first room was unacceptable so the owner gladly showed us another. It was a marginal improvement but still unacceptable. The beds were broken down; there were huge gaps around the door allowing the wind and dust to whistle in. We decided to cancel. The owner was nice and understanding.
