Hotel de aceptables expectativas, cómodo, limpio y amables. Hotel with acceptable expectations, comfortable, clean and friendly. Pay no mind to the negative reviews: the neighborhood is walkable and safe, the beds are comfortable, staff is polite and competent, it's accessible to everything entertaining.

Very Clean Motel

Great older hotel with a new coat of paint. New owners are renovating rooms and refreshing looks. The staff is super helpful and attentive. We arrived late in Winslow & they made room for us. Rates were very reasonable & the owner brought us an extra bed for our granddaughter.

Highly recommend if you want a more authentic route 66 experience from days gone by or if you just want a great price on a clean room with excellent service.

Excellent prices, fabulous service

When we discovered the flat with a nail in the tread on leaving the Winslow Meteor Crater museum at 5 pm, plans to drive on to a motel we had used in Gallup earlier went out the window. We had to add air to the donut spare at the gas station at the interstate exit for the Meteor Crater, so we were hoping to find a motel near a tire service that might be open Sunday. Some motels were full, but William at the Motel 10 stood out by his helpful advice as to where we might find such a combination. In the end, we decided to give Motel 10 itself a try after finding the medium-range motels full. We discovered he had come from California, sent by new owners six months ago, to rebuild the motel on westbound Route 66 downtown and work on a veterans housing project for them. Our room was large, completely refurbished (furniture, bathroom, beds, etc.) and equipped with wifi, flat-screen TV with cable, fridge and microwave. It was very quiet, despite a nearby railway yard and being only blo some blocks from downtown Winslow with historic shops and a renovated La Posada (ex-Santa Fe Harvey House) destination hotel.

Needed to stoop short in Gallup after a flat tire

My room came equipped with a refrigerator, microwave and a flat-screen TV with cable. My stay could have been $25 for one night if I could have maintained an internet signal before arriving but paid $35 as a walk-in customer. It was a well-equipped room, clean and priced for lower budget travelers on Route 66.

Very good for the rock bottom prices!

This was the cheapest motel I could find close to almost all of the major attractions in northern Arizona.  The total was $194 a week.
 This motel is relatively close to: Petrified Forest, Meteor Crater, Walnut Canyon, Flagstaff, Sunset Crater, Diablo Canyon, Painted Desert, and is even a reasonable drive to Grand Canyon South Rim.

The down sides:
1: Not much to do in Winslow besides get your picture taken at the statue and walk around the small park
2: I squashed 4 cockroaches during my stay
3: Wi-Fi is very slow and very unstable ( router kept crashing and resetting )
4: There are almost always beggars in the area
5: Train traffic

Cheapest Motel In The Center Of Major "Tourist" Zone

The title sums it up pretty good, if you are only planning a stay for a night and need a room that is cheap and aren't to fussed, then this place will work for you.  The bed linens were clean.  
Since we arrived later in the evening, we didn't have any choice in rooms, and they placed us in the middle of the second floor, which would have been fine, but seems that the free wi-fi  only works when you go outside on the balcony, not in the room at all.  The toilet was extremely low to the floor, wasn't easy to use for someone with bad knees, and we found one dead cockroach in the bathroom, didn't see any live ones, thankfully.   We did find a box of open condoms in the dresser drawer, not something you find everyday in your hotel room.  Being located close to the rail yard did make it a bit of a noisy place at times when trying to sleep.

I've stayed in worse places

Room is old, walls thin hear neighbors activities! Sink is near the floor, floors squeak, could go on and on , best are super hard , check in was no frills, repeatedly ask one person one bed !!!! , OMG 

Old, dated

Most reasonable price for motel in Winslow.  The room had all basic amenities  including wi-fi and HBO.  The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.  I got good night sleep.  If you go to Winslow, check Motel 10 first, I suggest and save money.  The customer service was decent.

Great Price

This motel is old style. Long double story block of rooms overlooking a big car park. 
It's situated right on Historic Route 66 (our reason for booking) and although it's in what appears to be the rough end of town, it does feel quite safe (the local police station is opposite the entrance which helps)

Well. Let's start with the positives....

Location. It's on '66 and close to "Standing on the corner". Also has restaurants and gas stations within easy driving distance. 

The owner is a real nice, friendly guy. Very genuine and outgoing. Could have chatted to him for hours. 

Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. 

There was a fridge and microwave in our room, both of which worked well. 

And now, on to the not so positives.....

Within minutes of check in, our son managed to lock us out of the bathroom, and as the lock was old and worn it took ages to sort out and open it again. Also, the deadlock on the room door jammed shut, causing a short panic. 

The wifi is appalling 

There was a smell of sewage right outside our room door. 

The furniture is old and worn. As are the towels. The bath towel I used struggled to cover my modesty, it was so thin. 

So... to summarize... it's the old "You get what you pay for". I have stayed in far better motels, for less money. 

Not the worst place in the world (Trust me. I think I have stayed there) but next time I'm in town I will spend a few bucks more for a better place. 

Cell block decor

it might've been the cheapest place to rent but we also had to buy ziplock bags and bug catchers for the cockroaches. the room arent secured and we had to put the table and chair in front of the door. we rented for a week and stayed for only two, couldnt get our refund. it was disgusting. never again!!!!!
