I can’t say enough good things about this place! Heated indoor pool, sauna, very comfortable bed and bedding, big jacuzzi tub in room bathroom. This place has a lot of character and as someone who stays with Marriott often (on business), this is the type of place everybody should get to and experience. Will definitely be coming back when i pass through

it was the worst place Ive ever stayed, the dirtiest place I ever stayed, sheets were dirty, blinds were hanging off the wall, police were showing up iat other rooms. People were sleeping, and Vehicles is almost like a drug l tried getting a refund to go somewhere else, and he would not give me my money back

Disgusting , dirty, scammer 

Don't stay at this hotel, look up all the reviews on every travel site. The pictures they advertise are not what you get. 
The rooms are disgustingly dirty, sheets had stains, carpeting was so dirty there was no way you could walk stocking footed. Bathroom was unusable. Owner would not give us refund. Only gave 1 star as there is not an option for 0 or lessssss stars.

When I arrived he raised the price, pool does not work, no breakfast, sheets were dirty with hair, bathroom had hair all over.  Just filthy.  Police outside at another room below, looked like drug dealings

I have stayed at plenty of motels and hotels and I have never written a review until today.  The room smelled, dirty, stained towels, AC didn't work, vanity light did not work but I fixed that.  I can usually get by with this stuff but a liar and a thief is another thing.  He quoted me a price of 89, never gave me a receipt when asked but said he would email one.  I thought this was shady so I check my CC statement and he charged 121.  I called him and when confronted, he hung up.  Called the Sherriff and he said they had  a lot of complaints but they can't do anything.  I will be checking with my CC company but DONT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!

Terrible and a Thief

We weren’t able to find much availability so we opted for the Northern Pine Inn. The owners were friendly, no issue there and check in went smoothly. Looks good from the outside, but I assumed it would be lacking from the interior of the front office,(Looks like it would have been very nice years ago. Now? Not so much.) however we’re not super picky as long as the room is clean so we went ahead and booked anyway. 

As we were walking in, My wife laughed and said “hey one of the best motels we stayed at was a $40 hole in the wall, don’t judge it yet.” I opened the door and figured out pretty quickly it was not going to be very good. First glance standing at the door I would give it a 5 out of 10. The room was made up, and it didn’t smell terribly. However when I pulled back the covers on the first bed to look for bedbugs, I immediately saw several stains on the sheets and pillow. The next bed was better and we only needed 1, so I thought ok, things will be fine. My wife wanted to soak in the bath after the long day, however she walked into the bathroom and turned right around and said “never mind.” The shower curtain had a nasty filth line all along the bottom and the tub looked pretty sketchy so she opted to not use it. At this point getting another motet was going to be difficult so we just decided to make the best of it for the night and check into another motel ASAP in the morning. We laid down and turned out the dim light, and all I could think about was bugs. Every itch or scratch and I was wide awake. Didn’t sleep very good at all. 

 This place has lots of potential for sure. I would love to buy it and do a renovation. The location is beautiful, and the outside is nice. I think with a coat of white paint, better lighting, and a good cleaning it would do much better.  I would rate my experience a 2, because if I had no other choice whatsoever I would maybe stay here again, but the chances are we’d opt to sleep in the truck instead. I did only see one room, so I can’t give an opinion on the rest. Maybe we just had a bad one? 

The owners were friendly and outside pretty enough, but due the lack of cleanliness and overall feel I would rate it the worst $70-$90 hotel I’ve stayed at without question. I would recommend not waiting till the last minute to book a room, and ask to see the room you’ll be getting. 

Last choice 

My sister ordered 2 rooms in Feb through booking.com. When they arrived, the owner claimed he didn’t have any reservations and was full and ordered them to leave. There was a festival she came to attend so there wasn’t a hotel with vacancy within a hour’s drive.
 I called booking.com and they said the reservation should be valid. I asked the agent to call the hotel. She did and reported back the owner verbally abused her and claimed the customer cancelled in April.  Meanwhile, the owner verbally abuses my sister and her family and calls the police. When they arrive, he tells the police booking.com sent an email cancellation in April. The police and my sister ask to see the email and the owner refused.
Reading other reviews here and in Google, this is not the first time this owner pulled this stunt. The police told my sister this is not the first time they have had to respond to this location.

Owner verbally abused my family and called the police.

Do not stay here.  I booked with them in January for a July reservation through Booking.com.  When I arrived to check in, they informed me that they didn’t have my reservation.  They said the same thing to the man in front of me who had booked through Hotels.com too.    They then informed me they had one room left, but because I had booked a room with one queen bed, and this last room available was two queen beds, I would owe them $100 more.  The man at the desk also asked that I pay in cash.  In addition, when my cousin checked in later, she was informed that they didn’t have her reservation.  She showed them her reservation, and they gave her a room, but tried to charge her more too.    What I did was I walked out and stayed elsewhere.  There were actually no motel rooms in the area because it was the Honor the Earth Pow Wow weekend.  However, I was able to secure another cousin’s room who had had to cancel because he tested positive for Covid.  Clearly, they knew the area had no rooms, so they were trying to charge everyone more.  Very unethical, and I will never stay there again.  I suggest you don’t either.

Scam

Dirty! Disgusting! Outdated! Couldn't even bring myself to stay here and still charged for the nasty room!! Checked out 10 minutes after checking in! Most Disgusting property I have ever seen! I'm surprised they are still in business!

Hotel

On my first sleep over with my new gf! And friends, we got talked into upgrading to a whirlpool room! Just bull! 40$ more sounded like a good deal! But the hot water ran out 2 inches into the tub😡 so no hot tub 40$ more then a standard room, huge disappointment! The new owner deffently is a good sales person, yet we told him the issues and no compassion! None! So ya!
