We had the absolute pleasure of staying in the Christmas themed cabin. We had our dog with us it was clean, cute & private.
They have several cabins, new builds, each with a theme and tastefully done. 
Ours was 2 bedroom, full kitchen, fireplace  great living space, windows looking upon a woodland setting, patio space, as well.
They also have a restaurant not far from the cabins, you certain could walk to  for dinner.
Menu was great, food was excellent  service terrific, thank you Lacy, and even a discount if you are staying on property. 
We are looking at another visit in the fall.
I would highly recommend Cranberry  Inn.

Perfect getaway

This was our second time having dinner here and both times we were beyond impressed.  The employees here are obviously appreciated and taken care of and it shows. Great food, great drinks, and great service. Too often in this area we are made to feel like an inconvenience to the local restaurants but we’ve never felt anything but welcome and appreciated at the Cranberry Inn. 10/10 recommend! I haven’t brought my kids here yet but I have no doubt they wouldn’t be fully accommodating to children. Keep up the great work!

Fantastic Mercer experience

Enjoy in the spacious/modern Cabin down the road.  The cabins are very nice with large windows - no curtains - with views toward nature and trails.   Stayed in a cabin with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.   it had a nice full kitchen / small dining table and nice sofa and tv with Direct TV on it  - also avail wifi 
Beds are nice - very nice furniture. 
Didnt have time to explore the local trails at the site of the cabin - but there are plenty of nature trails nearby  - Little Turtle nature area is close by with nice trails - also Moose Lake Scientific area is nearby

Great stay at the Cabin - just down the road from the actual hotel/restaurant

We took a 4 day ATV trip and stayed in one of the cabins.  It was wonderful!  The bedding & towels are upscale,  as well as the Northwoods atmosphere.   The cabins are right on the trail.  Toni was excellent in taking reservations and making sure we were comfortable.  Look forward to staying again!

The Best of Mercer

The inn was nice, clean and cozy. The best part is the blackout curtains. Made for a really nice sleep. Large parking area for snow mobiles and trailers. The restaurant food is decent but kinda high in price!

Nice room

We will stay here again when we are in town for 
Couple of nights.  Nice rooms and good location, close to town.  Rustic decor and modern motel rooms.  I love that there is wood flooring rather than carpet in the rooms- seems much better for cleaning.

Affordable, good place to stay

  Was going to give 3 stars but their additude and response to us changed my mind. We went up to mercer for a family get together, based on a recommendation from a family member we booked this location to stay in for a visit. When we went to crawl into bed and pulled back the sheets there was dirt, hair and twigs under the covers and on the sheets.   It was late and noone is there after a certain time at night so We ended up sleeping on top of the covers  because of how dirty the sheets were.  We contact them the next day when they opened  to ask for a clean set of sheets and the women on the phone acted like we made it up she stated it's not possible because they just cleaned it a few days prior to our check in. Anyway They did come n change the sheets  for us n also offered a refund for the 1st night( which was much appreciated) Our second night was much better n for the most part we enjoyed the rest of our stay there. Anyway weeks went by and no refund. We contact them again just to ask if it's been mailed yet as they promised and they said no but they would send it out to us but  was told "they were upset with us because some of the bedding  was on the floor &  they were forced to wash everything again"..um what??? Do u not wash sheets in between guest?  Any way they did send refund , which included an ignorant letter ive attached photo of letter.. saying the same thing they told us prior about having to clean the bedding. I've never ever had or seen  a buisness  talk to a customer in such a manner which  is why the 1 star review. 

Won't ever return , uncomfortable  beds, poor additude staff

Our family met for a dinner at the Cranberry Inn in Mercer WI.   We have been there before, and the service and food were not good....but decided to try again.   Some of our family are locals, and some come up here often.

The bartender was rude, to us and others in the bar.   When two customers ordered at the same time...she barked at them to speak one at a time.   She was very angry and harsh.  It took 15 minutes to get four drinks.

We were seated....and I have never seen a staff that looks so busy and does so little.   The manager walked in circles with a notepad and her sole purpose seemed to be getting in the way of the wait staff.  This was a Friday night, and the dining room was never more than 1/2 full.   The long long wait for our food allowed us to watch disgruntled customers leave when their food didn't arrive,  and one woman became very irate when her take out order took forever, then was the wrong order...and missing parts of the order.  She left VERY angry.

1.5 HOURS later, some of our food arrived...it was cold....not even slightly warm.   Some of our order arrived 10-15 mins after the first plates.   Our drinks were empty...no bread...and I asked to speak to the manager.

She was incredibly incompetent...
Blinking and stammering.  Did not apologize or explain...and went back to walking in circles and muttering to herself.

The entire experience was exasperating, frustrating and a bit sad.     So much potential business lost due to incompetence.  We will not return.  There are many other places to eat good food and be treated well.

Disappointing visit.  Won't return.

Solid food offerings from steaks to fish. Be sure to try the pan-fried walleye. Had a steak barrel for the first time was a good Adventure. Food and drinks are reasonable and good atmosphere in general. We were there on a Monday night so things were fairly quiet
