Beware of this company and location.  They are running a deep scam.

They have you put money down over the phone.  Upon arrival a girl is seating at the desk.  She hands you a card to call to supposedly get a refund because they are booking no rooms.  This happens to you upon arrival.  This scam happened to us and 2 other guys within same hour.  The booking number they give you to get a refund is not legit.  On PayPal they go on to try to refute stating that you were a no show and accepted booking terms 👀 🤔 
While we have been re-imbursed through chase, this case is still open.  We don’t want others to be scammed.
This business has not been reported to police as well.

Nothing like the pictures. Darkest parking lot ever. Hot hallways. Sponge feeling carpet. No stopper in bath tub. The creeps that passed us in the hallway did say hello back, but I think they were drug dealers. Checking in was brutal bc key card maker was broken. And because she reminded me how “ready she was ta go” the entire time. Save yourself and pray for my family.

This was the worst motel I've ever stayed in . No hot water. No clean bed covers. One pillow for 4 ppl .dirt on floor . Given a one bedroom and half chair in place of a king suite i originally paid for. Didn't receive any of my money back for the difference.  People in orher rooms were so loud no one could sleep.  I wouldn't recommend letting a animal stay here.

We never stayed . Room was roach infested. We opened door and roaches jumped out from door frame! Trying to get monet back. Lobby smelled like weed. Sign for hotel needs lights. Half of hotel look condemned.

Stay away

• Found this hotel on Hotels.com. it was among the cheapest ones on there and I had seen another OYO in a town I need to stay in every year, so I decided to check the chain out. 
• There is no sign on the road or outside telling you it's the OYO Hotel. Only my GPS figured out what building it was. 
• The lobby is nice, but check-in took a long time. They took a $100 deposit on my credit card for incidentals and damages, this is higher than any other hotel I have ever stayed at.
• the room is clean, the bed was good, the blankets and sheets were quality, the furniture in the room was adequate and in good shape overall. Nothing really fancy, but in good shape. They have a frig and microwave.
• the TV is small and it would not play a lot of channels, but it did work and the remote worked fine.
• No cups or ice buckets and the ice machine down the hall does not work. They have a coffee machine but no cups or creamer or spoon. the coffee was so old the filer fell apart as I took it out of the cellophane packaging.
• The floor in the room needed vacuuming but it was not gross. The carpet needs cleaning, but again, not gross.
• My biggest complaint is the water never got hot enough to take a shower. I tried it before I went to bed and again when I awoke. I sponge bathed.
• There were a LOT of bugs in the room when I checked in. In the bathroom mostly. Roaches and some small flea-like bugs in the sink I washed them down the drain. It is Louisiana, so bugs can be expected.
• No amenities - the pool is drained as is the hot tub. There was a small gym, but I didn't check to see if I could get into it. No lobby coffee, the restaurant is closed. they have a huge center area and the roof is falling in, ceiling tiles are hanging or missing and the large room is empty of anything - just a huge void.
the internet works fine and the desk is comfortable enough.
Next time, I'll pay $10 more and stay somewhere else I think. I'm getting to old to stay in below-standard hotels.

I'll pick a different hotel next time

Don't fall for the pretty picture shown by the Clarion title. This place looks nothing like that now. We actually stayed here about 25 years ago when it was the Holiday Inn, and it did look like that, and was a beautiful property back then. We stayed here again about 6 years ago when it was the Clarion, and it was run down, not well maintained, but a decent stay. At that time, the fitness center, pool and spa were functional, and there was an on site bar and restaurant with a pool table and TV to watch sports.
However, the restaurant is now closed down. When we checked in it was evening, around 9 pm or so and the guy at the reception desk looked at some list for so long I thought he couldn't find our room. He said he could, but he was trying to find a room that had been cleaned! Then he kept taking a key, going to check, then coming back saying the room wasn't clean. He finally put us in a townhouse suite with a loft sleeping area that included a full bath & 1/2, two flatscreen TVs, but no remote controls! The room was spacious and clean, but very dated with a coffee setup but no coffee maker. The bath towels are small and THIN - practically see through!! The sad little soaps they provide are branded OYO, and have to be rubbed briskly to soften them up enough to provide lather!

It is now the OYO Hotel and in sad shape.

The hotel was not the best in esthetics it was old and run down looking and smelled of mold and mildew throughout the halls. The first night it seemed like a scene out of a scary movie with half the hotel abandoned and not in use not many people were there  and looking from the parking lot when first arriving it looked vacant. the rooms were not cleaned well enough for the price we paid and towels were not clean I was in room 508 it was not the best shape with missing smoke detector and wires hanging out the carpet looked half vacuumed and bathroom and tub wall cracked up for the money we spent it seemed like we were at Motel 6 next door and from the looks we should of went there for half the price we paid with same conditions  

Not worth the Money for a deserted scary hotel

I am a frugal traveler and do not need the modern day 'necessities' others seem to require.  With that said my expectations are reasonable to low.  I do stay at value hotels often.  This hotel clearly needs to be closed and condemned.  Does not feel safe, is not clean, and they charge more than hotels that are.

Poorest hotel I have ever stayed at

Close to my family and friends, but i think i will drive farther, for better hotels. please udated. This use to be a great hotel. I have been staying there since 1990. It has really run down, update, update, update, NOW!

Very old, need alot of updates.

This Rodeway Inn and Suites it's an okay stay needs a lot of updating carpets are bubbling up on the floor beds are old Burns in the chairs old furniture someone put a small hole in the wall using the door latch but overall it was a decent stay haven't tried any of the amenities due to not having time
