Horrible, horrible.  I don't know where to start so I will say this.  RUN fast.  The washcloth someone changed oil in their car.  Deadbolt busted. Party up and down the steps all night.    Homeless laying sleeping in the weeds.  Drugs or prostitution or both upstairs.  Got up and left at 3AM.  Called to ask for a refund and was bitched at that we didn't come to him at 3 am.  No way were we walking through that crowd at that time of the night.  UNSAFE

Run Fast!

Horrible customer service, every part of this  was tedious and unpleasant. I had a 'non-smoking' room that smelled smokier than a Vegas casino. They took a 50 dollar deposit from me on my card that they refused to give me back the next day. I have called and emailed them and 2 weeks later they still have not returned deposit. This was an absolutely abysmal experience and the owners seem to be greatly incompotent when it comes to hotel management. This was the worst hotel experience that I have ever had. Never stay at this disgusting trash-hole.

Horrible Customer Service, Tedious Check-In Process

Charged me different prices EVERYDAY even i was in the same room same amount of people (2) and my pets! Paid extras and deposit for the dogs and a kitchenette.. Changed to a smaller room 5 days in, charged a second deposit and same or larger amount then room before.. AND I CLEANED MY OWN ROOM UPON ARRIVAL AND CHANGING OF ROOM. STILL WAITING FOR MY COPIES OF CHARGES. CHEAP AND SHADY! NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Slum

This place is DISGUSTING. There were obvious drug deals going on in the parking lot, shady looking people staying in almost every room on the ground floor, one man even approached me and asked me if I wanted to buy some “girl or boy” (assuming that’s street lingo for illicit drugs). All in all the room was pretty gross, stained sheets and only one pillow on my bed, no toilet paper and the garbage hadn’t been replaced since the previous tenant. If you have no other option, just sleep in your car or I’m sure there’s a nice spot in the Walmart parking lot for you.

SH!T HOLE

I had crews staying in the area for a job. After working all day they had to sleep in their clothes and were afraid to shower due to unstable floors and leaking from the shower above. Would not reccomend staying here even if it was the only option.

Where do I start?!?! We stayed here with our 4 kids for two nights because it was cheap. I know you “get what you pay for” but this place took that to a whole new level. When we got to the room, which was suppose to have two double beds, we had a king bed and a pull out couch. We made it work with all the kids so not a huge deal. The couch bed didn’t have a sheet or any blankets to put on it. The bathroom had no toilet paper, Kleenex, soap of any kind, garbage can, we were just lucky to have a shower curtain. The tub was dirty and had mold. The sink was dirty and leaked water onto the floor every time we used it. There were some dingy towels thrown up on the shelf. 
There was a dirty towel on the couch. The pillow cases were dingy and stained yellow. There was hair on the bed sheet. The floor was dirty. There were unidentified objects behind the night stand, bed, and couch. We weren’t about to touch them. 
We didn’t go into the continental breakfast expecting much so we weren’t disappointed to see coffee, juice, 2 different kinds of cereal, green bananas, and bread and butter. 
We didn’t bother complaining because I don’t think the guy would have understood us anyway. Kudos to him for trying to make something for himself, but we definitely will not be back or recommend anyone to stay here. At least not in room 229.

Not impressed

Me, husband, kids, & dog came into town. Couldn't find a hotel except for here. The guy at the desk charged me $80 a nite plus a $20 deposit (that he failed to mention before I paid) for a $40 room. The guy will try to scam as much money out of u as possible especially if u work construction. He kept talking about how much money my husband makes & that we must have a lot of money? He kept saying my husband makes "easy" money. It really pissed me off. The room was nasty, the towels were so stained they looked brown. There wasn't ANY hot water. At. All. It smelled so bad like mildew & mold. The air conditioner looked like it was from 1945. The Wi-Fi barely worked. Bed bugs bit my kids while they slept. All in all very bad. Way too expensive for the crappy room we got. We moved as soon as we found another hotel. Never Again. 

Got scammed

This place is nice. The staff are very friendly, the prices are a little high but it's ok. The rooms look newly remodeled, spacious, with fridge & microwave. Pet friendly, free wifi, & spacious parking lot. They have an on site washer and dryer. There is a Dollar Tree across the street and a Walgreens next door. Wal-Mart is a half mile up the street, very convenient. It's right in town close to all the shops. I would definitely stay again. 

Nice Place

Being one of the cheaper options, we got this.  Located right in the heart of the 8th street businesses, this is a surprisingly nice place to stay.  The owner, Gandhi, is a nice man and is trying to keep things going, as this has been other motels in the past.  Rooms have a microwave and a fridge, which is a nice perk.  The breakfast is meager but a nice cold option if you like.  You get what you see and sometimes that's ok.

Great value in an unassuming place

We were shocked to find only 2 star motels in the Rapids area of WI and none of them were under $60 per night. Ridiculous! We chose this one as they advertised remodeled rooms. The carpet was new but the beds were terrible and hard are rocks to sleep on. Breakfast was old and crappy. They had a swat team intervention which we didn't dare come out of room during that. It was scary!! The owner was a nice man and we could tell he was trying to improve property. We hope he keeps up the tough job. Not sure we will ever go back becoz it's not a place we liked at all. Sorry
