omg what a hell hole! scary, if you want to stay near the recently released inmates this place is for you! Dirty moldy scary!  I wiped mold out of the rummage sale night stand, the rug was dirty the towels were icky! Ugh!

A group of us stayed here for 2 days while boating at the lake.  We requested our rooms be together & they were, which we were happy about since we like to sit outside the rooms at night.  

Now if your looking for a 5 star hotel, this is not it. BUT, it was reasonably priced & our rooms were clean, the air worked & for us the beds were fine. The lady working on Sat. night was super nice & turned on the splash pad for us - even though we didn't have kids with us - it was hot & we used it!  

If your picky this may not be the place for you - but for us it was fine. Free coffee in the morning, not much for breakfast but with Covid 19 most places don't have much anymore.  We went out for a hot breakfast so it didn't matter to us. No hair dryers in the room but they had some in the office, which is normal for smaller hotels.  We didn't hear any traffic.  And since hotels in Yankton are so expensive, the price was good. 
All in all  I was worried because some reviews weren't the best, room 39 was fine.

Pleasantly surprised....

After driving thru a hellish ground blizzard this was the first motel we saw.  There were a few others from MN and Wisc there also because of the weather.  This is another older place fixed up.  It was very clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable.

trip home from AZ

This was by far the most disgusting place.  This was all that was left in the town but I think the car would have been better. I think they used dirty toilet water with urine to mop. It smelled so bad. Several stains on the bedding and mattresses that could be mold, blood or both. Blood spots on the wall. Dust and dirt everywhere. I felt like using bleach to scrub my things and body after being there. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Not worth $5 let alone $85. Yuck!

Needs to be condemned!!

The front desk clerk was pleasant when we checked in at 11:30 pm. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, for an older motel. The breakfast was hard boiled eggs, bread or toast, bagels, rolls, 2 kinds of cereal, with milk or juice & coffee. If we pass this way again and are in need of a bed we will stop again.

good to stay at

Old motel, rehabbed. Windows haven't been washed in years, but room & parking area clean. Good wifi but no room phones. Good cable TV. Managers are very cooperative. Road noise. Basic continental bkft. AARP discount with card.

Borderline good.

I stayed for two nights, the first night the deadbolt lock on the door didn't work properly, the second night the floor register was in sore need of a dusting. The staff was non existent, the office closed at midnight and there was no one to help with any issues. There is no continental breakfast, the "breakfast room" contained a stove and that was it no food. Staff not very friendly nor helpful and the place needs an upgrade in the worst way. Service is minimal or non existent. If you like dives, this is the place for you.This place will not get my business again.

What a Dump!

It's not a nice house. It's a nice motel, but we found the clean bunk and the bathroom. Our 65-dollar king size bed room was near the garbage dumps. We were woken up at 7am by the garbage truck. It was noisy, on the side of a highway. This motel needs to be completely renovated. The color of the rooms is pretty old. The climate couldn't be adjusted. We didn't want to have breakfast at this motel because the room was rather morbid and strange, there were no customers there at 9am. We don't recommend this motel.
