2 Words on why this place Is so cheap: BED BUGS!  I stayed in Room #111, had planned to stay 9 days but after the 3rd night i couldn't take it anymore as I finally found what was causing me to itch all day (i had over 20 bites).  I took the bed bug that morning to the front desk in a Ziploc bag and showed the owner and told him I was leaving.  He didn't say sorry, didn't even act surprised, just printed out my receipt and handed it to me.  

Went to the Econo Lodge after going to the laundry mat and having to wash all my clothes and high heat drying the crap out of them, to include my shoes and bags.  No issues what-so-ever there.

BED BUGS!!!!!

After unloading our belongings into the room? We noted that it was old and dingy. There were stains on the door jamb I. The bathroom. Once we saw the feces stains on the toilet seat, we immediately left. Definitely find a better place.

The owner made a copy of my drivers license. I told him to destroy it and he refused. He insisted he have a copy for “security reasons”. I was very uncomfortable with it. This is not normal practice. I did notify Wyndham.

Stolen identity?

This hotel is dated, worn, and in need of renovation. The Travelodge sign is a tarp that is nearly falling off the building. I noticed mold on the ceilings in the hallway and in the bathroom. The linens are stained and threadbare. The carpet was slightly wet and the microwave had gunk on it that hadn't been cleaned. There was barely anyone staying at the hotel while I was there and I can see why. Not recommended.

It was terrible I got bit up while I was sleeping it cost me a week of work off while the infection went away I am think about getting an attorney to see if I can get what is owed to me for a week of work which is $ 500.00 I'm out of cause I cant work for a week due to infection in my arm

Sorry I ever stayed there

This place was terrible!  The staff was very difficult (I tried to extend my stay one day and the clerk could not understand what I wanted).  The place was very filthy!  Stayed in the lower level and the mold was overbearing.  After there a few days, we found the mattress had bed bugs.  Management said they would take care of it but they did not.  Being stuck there, we put plastic over the mattress to sleep on.
The breakfast quality was also questionable.  Yogurt had expired, pancake mix was watered down.  No hot water for tea.  Definitely a place that should not bear the name Wyndham!


renter beware.  Horrible place to stay!

We booked a couple of hrs ahead on phone because we needed a place for night.We thought it was a decent price and Travel Lodge is usually a good place to stay. I don't like to complain,but this one did it. After we were there we realized why the price was cheaper. Beds were Ok. Out dated rooms. Bathrooms needed a good cleaning. We were 3 couples and everyone mentioned how grimy the bathtub was. Hall ways were dark and smelly. AC in room was running all night but didn't get it very cool.Breakfast was very cheap with poor selection. Front Desk did not seem to care a lot about customer service.  He had my name wrong and for points I wanted my name corrected. He said he would, but by the time I checked out in the morning he had not changed it. I mentioned it but he didn't seem to care. Not impressed with this Travel Lodge. Should not be labeled as a Travel Lodge.

Not the greatest place to Stay

My son and I stayed here for the Czech festival in nearby Tabor, SD.  I am glad my elderly mother did not come with us as we were on 3rd floor and no elevator.  My biggest complaint is that there was not ONE thing my son could ear for breakfast.  He has celiac disease and must be gluten free.  There were no eggs, yogurt, or gluten free cereals available. The young man didn't even seem to care....

Czech festival in Tabor

Several week ago my wife and I stayed at Travellodge, my wife had booked online at one price and had printed the confirmation  number for the reservation, and we also called ahead to let them know we were on our way. When we got there we were told they couldn't  find our reservation even  though we had the confirmation  number and prepaid $133. We wound up paying another  $180 in cash since credit card macine was down. After getting to our room we found dirty towels  on the floor. And 10 minutes  after we checked  in the front desk clerk knocked  on our door and had the guts to ask for ride to Subway  to get supper. During  our stay no housekeeping  ever came to clean rooms. When we checked  out I contacted  wyndham  hotel group  which is the corporate  headquarters  for travellodge  and after 2 weeks they responded  back saying  they to talk to the person right  at the motel and are doing  nothing about it
