We stayed here while looking at some properties in the area. This motel is very clean and nice. The front desk people are a bit paranoid about drugs and parties. Seemed strange. They must have meth problems in this town.

Now and then you find a town with an above-average gem for a stay over. The Yerington Inn is right on the main drag, in the center of this Mayberry-esque place. Across the street are 2 quiet casinos and shops with excellent food options. I was surprised at how upgraded and well-maintained the Yerington Inn is: all new furniture, modern design and spacious for a motel room. The TV setup is the best I've ever seen, with not only tons of channels to watch but also free on-demand shows (I binged on a few SciFi shows). Room had a good-sized fridge, microwave, couch...and no noise to speak of overnight. Not pricey at all  Give kudos to the owner who usually runs the front desk. This was a business stop, but I had such a good stay I'm bringing my wife next time.

Great motel in a relaxing town

Nice inn with a very large bed and clean room. A coffee machine was available as well as a fridge. It’s biggest downfall was the internet connection which was lousy. Couldn’t communicate with my family which was frustrating. However they do have a laundry room where we were able to wash and dry our laundry after three weeks away from home which was great

Overnight stay on was to San Francisco

I drove into town and this seemed to be the only accommodation on google so I took it for one night only when i realized there is another place down the road, cheaper and a lot friendlier.
I'm sure this place will do for a lot of people but I was by myself and needed something different.

Not the warmest place in town.

I will say the staff are the sweetest and the best which is why I gave it two stars instead of the one it deserves.... I had high hopes for this place but was very disappointed. It kept saying updated rooms everywhere I looked but throwing on some newer bedding is not updating. We payed $80 for the room it should have been more like a $40 room. The carpet is indoor/outdoor carpet and was stained in random places which totally grossed me out i wouldn’t let the kids walk on it barefoot and neither did I or my hubby. There were light bulbs burnt out, old 80’s furniture with broken handles , a squeaky old bed that was prob from the 80’s too. We slept on top of the bedding the place was so gloomy, dark and cold. Had it not been late and 40-50 miles to the next town we would have left and disputed the charges. WiFi sucks and our room door wouldn’t shut unless you pushed your body up against it and every time you opened the door it would creak very loudly I felt bad for the people next to us that had to hear our door every time we opened it. There was no need to point all of these things out to the office as I’m sure they are fully aware of the huge stains and all the other issues I’ve mentioned.... and they have the nerve to charge almost $100 a night for those dump rooms. I would highly suggest not staying here unless you have pull off to sleep and you can’t drive any further safely. Drive a bit further and stay in Fernley, Fallon, Carson or Reno at least a $100 room in those towns gets you a super clean, newer nice room. I had to laugh when the lady at the office asked us if we had any pets and made it sound like if we did it would have been a big deal lol there is no way a dog would make that place any worse.... You have been warned lol....

Stayed here while visiting my uncle, and cousins. Rooms are clean, and neat with plenty of room. A little on the high side for an out of the way motel (around $100), but me & my cousins had a real good time. I think the walls are very well insulated, because we are sort of a loud bunch & we didn't have any problems. The staff was very nice to us. They did tell us never to come back- just kidding Haha. Overall a good experience! Also 2 packets of caffeinated coffee got me going from the room.  

Large rooms

My husband called a week ahead and made a reservation to stay for one night during a local classic car show.  Upon check-in, the not-so-nice lady said that the rate that had been booked was last year's car show rate and would not honor the rate for this year.  It was only a $5.00 increase but just the way she said it annoyed us.  Besides, I thought hotels had to honor the rate that was booked when the reservation was made.  The room was clean but like something out of the 70's.  Dark carpet and dark floral bedspreads.  The beds were comfortable enough but the pillows were very flat.  The bathroom was adequate with plenty of very hot water.  The only problem was turning the shower faucet on.  Practically needed a wrench to turn it.  Most positive thing about the room was that the air conditioner worked VERY well.

Tolerable for one night but we won't stay again

Room was fairly clean, although behind the night stand hadn't seen a vacuum in quite some time and the bathroom could have used a little more elbow grease.  Beds were very comfortable.  Shower had good pressure but the shower head was terrible.  WiFi was terrible.... Might be the location though because our hotspot didn't work very well either.  Definitely not enough available outlets. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
