Check in was sketchy, room wasn’t ready even after 3 pm. Breakfast was nice, coffee was terrible. Access to the kitchen was strange. Room was comfortable. Pool was literally scary. Mold on the walls, dead bugs floating everywhere. Not taken care of at all.

The Pool was nice, after a hike in Yosemite is this a good Place to relax.
We love our stay. Especially the breakfast, absolute Awesome.
The Breakfast was the best on our 3 Weeks Tour thru the western of USA.

Awesome, perfect for vacation near Yosemite.

Fantastic B&B just minutes away from Yosemite National Park! Check-in was smooth - detailed instructions, a lit and cozy welcome area, and a code to our room. The room was spacious with a nice heater, large bed, and plenty of blankets for us to stay warm. Great shower with strong pressure and back to back windows surrounding the entire room opening up to a gorgeous Vista of the mountain. 

Marlo, our host, was very welcoming and made superb homemade cooked breakfasts every morning: veggie-loaded quiche, blueberry pancakes, maple-drizzled French toast, fresh fruit and even scrambled eggs for our 7 y.o. daughter on request. Hands down best coffee I've had at any stay in the U.S. : dark, roasted and flavorful.

We met people from all over the world during our short stay : an older couple from the UK, a trio from Spain, and a young couple from Russia. Affordable, close to the park, and cozy as can be. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Yosemite, any time of year!!

Cozy, wonderful B&B minutes from Yosemite

Where should I start.  Reservations are easy to do online and you will receive email close to your arrival finalizing everything including check-in process.  Keyless entry for room. Telephone number provided to talk/text for questions or concerns. 
Bed and Breakfast is located off highway 41 at the top of hill. You will see the sign. Just warning at night pitch dark on highway 41 the street to turn on you may miss it.
Check-in is 3 pm but we were able to check-in alittle after 2.
It was extremely hot and dry in Yosemite this past wkend(Aug 19-22), 95-102 degrees. Why mention that because our room was  a sauna especially when we check-in, 102 degrees outside. We arrived to Country Rose room with Window open and vent was off when we check-in. I immediately reached out to the host and they were good on replying immediately.  That is when we discovered vent was off and I had to stand on the bed to open it. Country Rose room we were miserable during the day. It was extremely hot and we were glad after 4 pm room finally was cooling down . Room has a jacuzzi tub/shower. Do not recommend if you have hip/knee problems or plain clumsy like me. You need to sit on edge & pivot to get in/out. Bed is against the wall so with 2 people 1 has to slide off bed.
We always bring our snacks, stop and got a sandwich for later and luckly we did. No social hour at this bed and breakfast.  Next town is about 30 minutes from bed and breakfast. Nothing within walking distance. 
Breakfast is a pass. 1st day we tried and it was subpar. Made me have upset stomach. Egg casserole with green peas & carrots.  Never had peas and carrots for breakfast & never will again.  2nd day was blueberry pancakes (from a box just add water & cook) english muffin (not toasted), frozen hash brown that looks like it was heated in toaster oven. No flow to the breakfast. Just seemed no thought process and placed on the table.  Every breakfast is cut up fruit (banana, strawberries & raspberries) placed in a bowl that all guests serve themselves, yogurt & orange juice.  Sorry but need a course on cooking breakfast & baking for bed and Breakfast inn.
Caretaker sits with guest and has breakfast. We learned that this bed and breakfast has a new owners since April 2022.
Caretaker lives in the house, she cooks breakfast and keeps place clean.  She is friendly.
Air conditioner is turned off at night. Spoke with another couple & they said their room was constantly freezing vs our room was extremely warm/uncomfortable during the day. The other couple said their room floor was uneven, a dip on the floor close to their bed in addition to wire hanging and fan in the window.
We will not be returning. Dont recommend. House needs major updates & is not ADA friendly.

This was a clean and wonderful place to stay.  The hosts are very friendly and serve a great breakfast.  We had three amazing days at Bed of Roses and it is near Yosemite so during the day we could enjoy this  treasure of a National Park.  We had never been to Yosemite and the hosts helped us to find places to go in he park to see what we wanted to see.

A wonderful place near Yosemite

My husband and I were fortunate to find this lovely spot in Oakhurst near the south gate of Yosemite. It included a private room entrance, and a pool in the backyard. The cozy room was comfortable and included a jacuzzi tub. The hosts were welcoming, gave excellent travel advice and a map. The breakfasts excellent, and I particularly liked the blueberry pancakes. Thank-you for a wonderful time.

Lovely find near Yosemite

Stayed here during the gov. shut down, arriving late in the afternoon. Received great advice on a quick, nearby hike to a waterfall, dinner tips, and hints on touring Yosemite. Breakfast was terrific and the hosts went out of their way to be helpful. Very enjoyable stay.

Spent three nights at A Bed of Roses. Ideal for Yosemite. Hosts extremely helpful and friendly. Room a little on the ‘cosy’ side but very comfortable and clean. Bathroom very good with spa tub. Verandah space very useful. Allowed use of efficient gas bbq. Breakfast very good, could possibly offer earlier time than 08.00 for early off to Yosemite (hosts provided muffin, yoghurt and fruit the day we chose to leave early). Coffee machine (kuerig) used extensively.

Very good for Yosemite

We wanted to break up the drive from So Cal to Yosemite and wanted to visit one of our favorite winery tasting bars in Oakhurst (Idle Hour). We arrived earlier than expected but no problem. They were able to accommodate us getting our luggage settled in before we headed into town. Room was nice and clean. We were the only guests that evening Breakfast was delicious (some of the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had). 

We enjoyed wine on the deck and seeing the two cats who live outside. Nice view of nearby hills and forest. We enjoyed visiting with the hosts in the morning, no awkward political discussions. 

It’s at least an hour, closer to 1.5 to drive into the Yosemite Valley. If you’re not able to find lodging in the Valley, I’d check to see if there’s anything in Yosemite West, it’s quite a bit closer. 

Bass Lake is nearby - fun to rent speed boat and do some tubing.

Beautiful view from the terrace. 
The swimming pool is correct. 
However, quality ratio compared to price is not good. It is too expensive for what you get. 
No flexibility for breakfast.
