We had a wonderful time staying at Cabin Fever. We stayed in the High Top cabin. It was comfortable for 3 adults and 3 kids. Loved the fire pit and surrounding area. So quiet and private. We even had a stream running in front of our cabin. It was the perfect location for a relaxing getaway. Dani the owner was so nice and helpful. Saluda is a cute little town with lots of great hiking, tubing and other outdoor activities. We will definitely be back! 

Perfect weekend getaway

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed here. We absolutely love it. Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. We live in Charleston, SC and love to get away from all the hustle and bustle of city life. The porches are amazing, especially if you can sit there and listen to nature and pull out an amazing book. The weather has been amazing both times we have been. I wouldn't change anything about our experiences. This place has turned into  my home away from home. Prices are amazing as well. You can literally stop by the local grocery store, grab some food, go to the cabins and cook. Best part, after you go to the store, you don't have to leave again! We can't wait to go back. Will definitely be another trip this year!

Amazing as always!

Great secret for a total mountain experience!!! The cabins are rustic but also have all you need for the total mountain experience! Close to so many things and the cute towns, Saluda and Flat Rock! The property is beautiful and they recently added two onsite trails that lead to beautiful views!  We are taking our entire family(24) back on Labor Day! The covered picnic area, complete with a fire pit is next to their playground! We cannot wait!! Schedule your trip today! You will not be sorry! This is a hidden gem!!

Hidden Gem near Hendersonville, NC! 

My brother and I each rented a cabin for a week with our wives and had a great time. My brother and his wife have lived in NC for 25+ years and had been to Cabin Fever many times, so they had a list of nearby fun activities, restaurants, etc.. I had intended to spend some time in Asheville, but we had so many things to do that I never got around to going there.

Great Visit!

Very clean and homey. We appreciated the free firewood and popcorn, and loved how quiet it was. Check-in was easy and accommodating. We had a wonderful experience and encourage other families to stay here.

This place is a gem me and my family went out there and had one of the best vacations I think we've ever had so beautiful and is great if you have a big family we went with three families and had a blast Dani was the nicest human being you'll probably ever meet super helpful very knowledgeable about the area and just plain sweet we will be back for sure 5stars!!!

Best family vacation ever!!!

Stay was from 12/23/22- 12/27/22 and we rented all 6 cabins for our friends and family. This is going to be a long review because a lot happened. First I would like to say that Dani and Barry were so helpful during our stay. Mother nature dealt us a major blow this past weekend and it was FREEZING. We all checked in with no problems. All of our cabins were cold but we assumed they didn't turn the units on since they didn't know when our huge party was going to arrive. EVERYONES (ALL 6 CABINS) first night was HORRIBLE!!! There are heating/cooling units in the bedroom and main room. NONE of them worked. They seem to have a timer and would stay on for a little and then turn off. It was so cold in our cabins that our drinks froze solid. We have children with us and were concerned for their safety. So many people died all over the USA during that cold front. We all almost left and would have demanded full refunds. Dani and Barry were so kind and bought us blankets, electric heaters, and started fires in everyone's cabins. Some of us are not fire savy but it didn't matter because all the cabins had working heater units (we thought). Dani said they've closed during the winter months because of this. So that was the first night and you think it can't get worse but it does. ALL the cabins except for mine (Summer Breeze) has either no water or no hot water. 2 of the cabins had septic tank issues. Thak goodness we all knew each other because we could go to the one cabin that did have hot water to shower. If we were all strangers they would have had a lot more issues. This trip went from bad to worse. We have spoken to Dani and we paid over $4,000 for all 6 cabins and she has offered us a $539 refund. She will not give us the owners name or phone number. She also will not contact the owner about this issue. I wouldn't risk staying here because if you have any problems don't plan on them taking accountability for anything.

Stay Some Place Else

Loved our family get away!  Lots of fun things to do in the area and the kids, even the teenagers, had so much fun away from the crazy world.  Lots of family time playing games, camp fires, wood stove fires, cookie making, etc...

Family Time Love

My granddaughter wanted a weekend in the mountains. We found Cabin Fever online and decided it looked like what we were wanted for or weekend. We stayed in Good Times. The cabin was clean, but rustic. The kitchen was small but met our needs. The beds were comfy. We enjoyed playing checkers on the screened back porch and my granddaughter loved the porch swing on the front porch. We explored Saluda and Hendersonville. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to visit again during the winter months and using the wood stove to stay cozy.  Thank you for meeting our every need.

Enjoyed our weekend getaway in Good Times!

We stayed in the High Top cabin and absolutely loved everything about it. The cabin was private, very clean ... smelled of cedar wood, and large enough to accommodate my family of four without feeling crowded. The rocking chairs and swing on the front porch were perfect for midday relaxing among the trees, Rhododendron and babbling creek. The side screened in porch off the main bedroom was wonderful for morning and night checkers and eating meals. The included firewood was a plus for outside pit fire and inside wood stove. One surprise that we weren't expecting was a trail head in the back yard that we used to hike up the mountain (challenging ... ladders and ropes ... to help get up the trail) to find a viewing tower and 2 tree swings looking out to a peek-a-boo vista view of the mountains.
