I don't normally write reviews but in the case of Paradise Cove I have made an exception.  From the time of our booking where we got involved with aircraft changes and date changes, Constance and Marco could not have been more helpful. We were looking for a resort that would suit us and peace and paradise seemed to be on offer. Arriving to a welcome from Constance and her staff could not have been better after a long Journey - just what we wanted. The villa was a stones throw from the beach and the restaurant - it was spacious, clean and cool.  
Happy Hour being announced by a drum led us to a table and chairs overlooking the Pacific just felt so right.
Not knowing much about Vanuatu, conversations with Constance and Marc on what to do and where to go led us to seeing many of Vanuatu's hidden gems. A gentle Island with a smiling population. 
Having our own business, I know that without the right staff nothing runs easily and the fact that their staff were not only superbly well trained but naturally helpful - always with a smile, was much appreciated by us.

Perfect Holiday in Paradise

When booking a resort based on internet searches it can be hard to be sure that the resort that you are booking is going to turn out to be what you wanted. Paradise Cove Resort was exactly what we had hoped for; it is a boutique resort that delivered the tranquillity and restfulness we needed. We arrived late in the evening and from that moment on we were made to feel so welcomed, greeted by Constance who showed us our villas and then we went for a drink and nibbles at the restaurant. We woke the next morning to find that the resort was exactly as the photos had prepared us for but even better; the calmness and serenity was a wonderful feeling.

We booked a 2 bedroom villa for our adult children (21 & 19) and a one-bedroom villa for my husband and me. The villas were located next to each other; yet the two still have separation and privacy. The villas are spacious, spotlessly clean, and well appointed with all that one needs for a restful stay. Both my husband and I found the hammock and loungers, directly outside our villa, so comfortable, sheltered and private that we fell asleep one afternoon without a care in the world.

All the staff are friendly and genuine. Constance and Marc are charming and knowledgeable hosts who care about every guest (and their staff) staying at the resort. They made us feel very welcome. Constance arranged a water taxi for our trip to Port Vila and a driver for our day expedition taking the stress out of organising the correct transport. Thanks to Constance, our adult children got to experience a night out with one of their wonderful staff members.

The beach is private with a choice of loungers and hammocks to choose from. The grounds and beach are immaculately kept. Our family snorkelled many times a day using the gear provided by the resort. The water was tranquil with lots to see. We also used kayaks and bikes. 

Over the six days, we ate most of our meals at the restaurant; a testament to the quality of food and enough variety of options for six days. The daily continental breakfast included in our package was perfect. Happy Hour is announced by the beating of a traditional drum elevating it to a special time of the day and in time to see the incredible sunsets.  An extensive cocktail list kept us entertained but by far a favourite was the pina colada! The tusker beer was a great discovery.

The personal touch and tranquillity of this resort left us feeling special, relaxed and revived. The massage from Edna was divine.

This is an outstanding resort--probably the best on Efate.  The villas are huge, beautiful, comfortable, and well equipped.  The grounds are gorgeous.  Bikes, kayaks, etc are free, readily available,  and in great condition.  

Access to the water is easy and safe.   The coral is recovering from 2 cyclones and crown of thorns starfish, but the water is clear and warm with lots of fish. 

The resort is on the lee side of the tradewinds, which means there are minimal waves, and breezes are nice, not excessive.  

The Restaurant is beautiful and very good. There is a pretty pool, but we always swam out front instead.

The resort is close enough to downtown Port Vila (by road or boat) and the airport to be convenient, but feels romantic and secluded.

The owners, Mark and Candice, are extremely interesting, involved, and helpful.  Lots of great stories and advice.  The Staff were all lovely, friendly, helpful people.

Guests at the resort, and Paradise Cove restaurant patrons (local, guest, and expat) are also extremely interesting.  We met more fascinating people in Vanuatu in a few weeks than other places in years.

We had a rental car and were on Efate longer than we'd intended because Air Vanuatu's collapse made getting to other islands very diffiicullt. (made it to Pentecost and Tanna;  didn't make it to Malekula or Santo)   We didn't see any other resorts that seemed nearly as nice as ours.

We booked all the tours from the resort and everything was well organized.

Constance and Mark are doing the maximun to make us confortable and happy.

Nice resort

Had a short stay at the resort for 4 nights. Absolutely loved it. Was in a 2 bedroom bungalow, which was absolutely lovely. Very clean, well maintained, and appointed. Best nights of sleep I have had in years, very cosy and quiet. The room has a small kitchen with everything for self-catering but I mainly ate in the restaurant.
Staff are always lovely, super friendly and happy to accommodate any request you may have. Snorkelling was great, while the coral is not so great along this bit of coast, it's recovering, there are lots of fish to see, including the occasional turtle and eagle ray. 
Overall, I thoroughly recommend this resort to anyone who is after a well-appointed, quiet place, a little out of town to unwind and relax!

Ideal place to relax and unwind 

Paradise Cove resort is a beautiful small charming place which makes you feel very relaxed. The atmosphere is casual and friendly thanks to the owners Constance and Mark as well as the staff members. Swimming and snorkeling are great too. Definitely place to return to!

Gem 

We stayed at Paradise Cove Resort for 5 nights to celebrate our baby's 1st birthday, and it did not disappoint! They had our room ready with a baby bath, travel cot, baby books/toys, which was a lovely touch. We always felt very safe and well looked after by Constance, Marc, and their incredible team of friendly staff.
The only cons we had were more related to weather/environment, rather than the resort itself. The pool is very cold (it sounds like heated pools in Vanuatu are uncommon) and the ocean wasn't super warm in September either. The beach isn't soft sand – it's covered in coral which makes it tricky for delicate baby feet.
We would happily recommend to friends/family, and hope to return one day.

A great place to celebrate our bub's 1st birthday :)

After 3 years delay due to Covid, the wait was more than worth it. We had seven days in this tropical and peaceful paradise. The villas were luxurious and spacious, as well as being spotlessly clean and comfortable. Each villa had its own veranda with loungers and a hammock. Perfect for lolling, reading and just dreaming of the next wonderful meal, with cocktails. The food in the on-site restaurant is amazing - fresh, tasty, divine, a huge selection with daily changes. 

Being able to swim and snorkel right off the beach and jetty was a huge plus. Kayaks, snorkels, masks and swim shoes are all provided.  Cycles were also provided for those who want to venture further afield.

While it was tempting to remain in the resort for the entire time, I did a couple of tours with my group of friends. Constance (manager/owner) was very helpful at arranging these to suit the many wishes our group had in terms of what to see and do. 

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Totally professional in everything. Constance and her husband, Marc, were readily available each day but definitely not intrusive. Constance was a tower of strength during the Covid years, providing reassuring and regular contact throughout, and was a huge help in terms of being able reschedule our visit from May 2020 to May this year.  

Constance also kept in touch with AirVanuatu and advised us before the airline that our flight home was delayed. Again, her reassuring help and local knowledge meant we got to the airport at the right time for our rescheduled flight and without having to hang out at the airport for hours. 

I 100% recommend Paradise Cove resort. If you're looking for secluded paradise, that is also luxurious and friendly, this is your No. 1 choice. It is like being a billionaire in your very own resort.

True paradise

We arrived at the resort at 4am due to delays with our flights and we were led to our villa by the night guard who was extremely helpful.  We were met at breakfast by Constance and Marc who were visible through out our stay.  The villa was cleaned daily and was always immaculate.  Food was amazing as well as the cocktails!  Staff at the resort were helpful and so friendly.  Being able to snorkel from the beach was an added bonus and the children were in the water all day every day.   However what we are unable to thank Constance enough, was the help and assistance she gave us all at the resort when Air Vanuatu's flights were cancelled.  She called and helped us get rebookings.  At no time did we feel that we were going to be left stranded without a room.  They were absolutely amazing.  If you want a break from the world this is the place to go.  

Exceptional Stay and Hosts

This has to be one of the best resorts I’ve ever stayed at.  The resort is located down a very bumpy road which is typical of many areas in Vanuatu…. It’s just part of the experience.  Just 15 minutes from Port Villa or alternatively you can take a water taxi directly from the jetty. 
We travelled with our adult children and partners. We booked 2 villas and they were as beach front as you can get.  Constance and Marc were attentive and very knowledgeable about the area.  The staff were all friendly, impeccable, well trained and went the extra mile, it only took a day to get all our drink preferences!  
Under Constance’s leadership every member of staff treated you like you were the only guest there.
Villas are well appointed and immaculate. The food is excellent and well presented.
There are heaps of non motorised water sports, kayaks, snorkelling, kayaking and cycling with all equipment provided which is in good order. I also noticed plenty of buckets and spades for the kids.
If you are looking for a boutique experience in a tranquil, beautiful area this is the place for you. It was a great place to relax, recharge and get out and about with the locals.
If you want to be constantly hooked to your digital media and have your kids in the kids club… then it’s not for you.
