Staff are really friendly but you  need to be aware
No WiFi in Rooms /Restaurant is closed so other than "no choice breakfast" no food or snacks are available. Breakfast 2 toast 1 Butter 1 egg half a bacon rasher
I tea bag and 1 Nescafe sachet in room Kettle but no fridge or Microwave so no
 milk or sugar. No Toiletries Room only cleaned on demand  Photos are misleading

This place was awful! It isn't a resort. Its more like a halfway house / back packers.
Don't waste your money. There are too many things to list on why NOT to stay there. The pool was out of order, all of the chairs around the pool are broken, ripped and there are flies everywhere. The staff don't clean your room properly - there are no clean towels or replenished toilet paper. And forget about the breakfast! There isn't any - maybe a stale piece of bread and some fruit that smells! The photos of this place that are on their website etc are obviously retouched and many years old! The pool was green!

The worst holiday of my life

Dark, dingy and nothing like the photos, we checked in to 2 rooms and 5 minutes later we checked out.
We arrived at around 10pm, one of the rooms hadn’t been cleaned, was messy, beds had been slept in and dirty towels lying on the floor.
Our rooms were supposed to be next to each other, they were in separate buildings.
The lady on the reception desk was nice and wanted to “make the beds” for us, NOT change the bedding, just make the beds.
We booked superior orchid rooms, I dread to think what the other rooms were like.
This place is NOT a resort, it’s a backpackers with a pool.
Travelers Beware.

Good price value for money decent breakfast included Had an apartment which was a good size with kitchenette so we were able to cook meals full size refrigerator The staff were amazing It’s situated close to town still need bus to get to town very quiet They have entertainment a few nights a week I would recommend it pleasant stay

Coconut Palm Resort was a pleasure to stay at. Very friendly staff. Food was good. Pool was food. Room service was good. People were good. Location was good. Thank you too much. Vanuatu rocks. Will definitely be back.

Friendly staff

We stayed at coconut palms resort and it is close to town and right in the middle of the local community. Waking up to chickens and roosters for me was fantastic but best of all for me where the staff.

Port vila

This must be the worst " resort" that I have had the misfortune of staying at. The pool was green the service was even worse I have tried contacting Elliot the managing director to no avail we had booked for two nights but one was more than enough nothing worked properly in the room, finding some one at front desk impossible staff don't seem to care. Breakfast was atrocious. The evening meal was OK must have been cooked off site waited for a very long time to be served and even longer for the food to arrive. Would never recommend this " resort" to anyone. If visiting Vila I would give this place a wide berth and go elsewhere.

Worst place in Vanuatu

The rooms are small without basic facilities like bar fridge. Wanted to use the share facilities but the bathroom was broken most of the time.

Drunk Australians were put in the room next to me and were up all night. Completely noisy.

This is a backpackers not a resort

Hotel itself could be little bit more looked after in terms of renovation, but don’t forget that it is still budget hotel and for Its proce it is really nice place. Room was clean and looked after everyday, marble tiles in bathroom, flat TV, Air Con, comfortable bed. Food in Restaurant was very tasty, anything we ordered in our 7 days stay was Delicious. Waiting time for food Long, but that’s because everything was freshly made. Staff was Ok. Helpful but most of them looked Kind of sad? I couldn’t rate them 5, because it’s not luxurious hotel, but location is great, walking Distance almost everywhere in Port Vila, price per night really Good, so I wouldn’t be fair If I would give them 3. I don’t regret we stayed there. It is worth Its price.

Very nice budget hotel

The first room we were given had two tiny single beds. The room was so small you could hardly walk past the bed to the balcony. This bathroom was huge - nearly the same size as the room itself. 

Second room was only a little bigger but the layout was much better so seemed a lot roomier. Bathroom was a lot smaller but still nice. 

Very close 3 minute walk to the city but no where near a swimable beach. 
Service was great and staff were happy to help. 
Rooms were cleaned well.
Air conditioner worked well. 

Food was bland and overpriced (Though we didn’t find anywhere in Port Vila that wasn’t). 
Buffet breakfast was a stale, dry disappointment. Plates weren’t clean.
