We enjoyed 3 relaxing nights at this family run place. Post covid we found their enthusiasm to rebuild the business, friendliness and hospitality was delightful. We did the cooking tour, hired scooters, did a few bike rides, a kayak trip, ate good food and of course rested. I expect you will love this place if you are used to home stays (shared bathroom, fan, thin walls, open ceiling) pictures on booking.com were quite accurate and current) and give it a night or 3 to chill. If you need air conditioning, “corporate” style service and a choice of restaurants then there are alternatives with a pool for more $ of course. It is a bit out of the way (call them from the bus station) so expect to find gentle fun exploring “village life”.

Gentle relaxing time

The Homestay is beautifully placed in between several plantages, which makes it a good place to escape the hassle of Ben Tre. You can rent kayaks which makes good fun for half an hour rowing between the plantages. It is however very difficult to find via Google maps and the staff was not welcoming us or speaking to us. We stayed at several Homestays in the Mekong Delta and this our least favourite one.

Beautiful location with unfriendly staff

We had one night at this 'homestay' as part of our Intrepid Tour.
We thought we would really be 'roughing it' but what a pleasant surprise.  Lovely beds (with mozzie nets) and a fan in the rooms.  We did take our own silk sleeping bag liners and a can of mozzie spray too though.  It didn't get any cooler at night!!
The children got the chance to fish which was a big hit.
Whilst there is no hot water, the cold water showers were so very welcome at the end of the hot day.
We were catered for so well.  The food was yummy.
There was even wi-fi and a beer fridge (local Vietnamese beer only 20,000VND each.)
We arrived on Tuk Tuks and we left by sampan the following morning and we were sad to leave.  So glad we got to experience this, truly memorable.

Highlight of the tour!

One night homestay included as part of our Intrepid Travel Group tour of Vietnam.
Great friendly family running this property, delicious food and beautiful surroundings.
Only advice, take your own sleeping bag or sheet, and double up on mosquito repellent as nets over beds had holes.

Intrepid Group - Peaceful Atmosphere

A home stay And the Mekong Delta is a worthwhile thing to do. The accommodations are basic. There is no hot water and you will need lots of bug spray. The rooms do have mosquito netting and the food is authentic .

Off the beaten track

Stayed a night here and a was not really anything to complain about. The food offering was basic, but fine. For the price, might have expected a bit more in terms of room comfort, but the nice atmosphere of the area makes up for it.

A little difficult to find, but the isolation is part of the charm

Don't know how the stop-over lunch for tours is but staying there is quite overrated. Homestay is a catchy word for this kind of thing. It's more a basic resort in the green outskirts of Ben tre. 

Location and surroundings are are very nice, biking around is nice but free bikes are in bad shape. No free kayaks anymore, just rowing boats for which you have to pay. Rooms are quite expensive for what they are. Breakfast is basic. If you don't want to walk or drive 2km in the dark you have to rely on their dinner which is basic and expensive (for example 60.000 for instant noodle soup with extra stuff). To be honest, it was the worst and most expensive breakfast/dinner we had in Vietnam until now, but we usually don't eat in hotels or restaurants. 

Nice location but overrated 

My wife and I stopped here for our lunch stop on the way to Can Tho from Saigon with our guide. It made a nice change from the city restaurants, and the food was good overall. We ordered a couple of beers (as usual) to go with our lunch and then tucked into some crispy Banana hearts (at least, I think they were?), followed by Pumpkin Soup (which was greatly improved by a little chilli sauce, but very tasty), and then the Elephant Ear fish, which is a sight to behold! Fortunately, a waitress came and dissected it for us, taking the best flesh (from the back of the fish) and wrapping it in rice paper to form a fish roll. It looks great, it appears to be deep fried with its scales still on (whole), so they form an interesting appearance as they peel off the cooked fish. However, it was overcooked and on the dry side, which was a pity. It's also very bony, the first fillet dissected by the waitress is fine, but attempt to pull any more fish from the body and you will end up with a mouthful of bones! 
Still, we had plenty of other dishes to eat, and all together the lunch was quite pleasant and it was lovely to eat out in the country with  chickens, puppies and birdsong surrounding us and the Mekong river within sight!

Lunch stop for our private tour

They have about 10 rooms, the beds all have mosquito nets. Everything was clean. If you want to go on a boat, they take you up the river and back to the homestay (actually 1h, 200k VND).
We enjoyed the delicious food in particular. For the first time in Vietnam it was really plenty for fair prices.

Food is delicious

This homestay is about 5km from the city center so you only book it if you want something relaxing and quiet! The small street from the city center to this home is very beautiful with coconut and banana trees! It is quite hard to find this place so you should have the phone number of the owner in hand so the taxi driver can take you here!
It is a small homestay with a few rooms. They do not have toilet or bathroom in rooms but they have clean common toilets and bathrooms near the rooms. You should also prepare your own personal toiletries to use! 
Everything looks like a local home so the rooms are simple. The owners are friendly and professional. They pay attention to the details and try their best to serve you well. They don't bother you and are always there if you need! 
The homestay has free bikes that you can use for biking around. For the rowing boats, you can hire a private boat for your group/family or go to the center and join a group tour going from Ho Chi Minh City! This is a very quiet stay for your one or two day escape!
