Spent 9 nights here on a service learning trip and it was a comfortable stay. The area is well located within minutes walk to the night market, amusement park, shopping center Lotteria and its right on the Ben Tre River with nice views. Great stay 

Spacious rooms, value for money, friendly staff

We just rented a motorbike at the hotel for 24 hours. 180.000 Vietnamese Dong (7 €). Bike was ok, we did not need to leave our passports and even returned it an hour late ;)

Absolutely recommended to check out the Delta on a bike!


Scooter Rental

The hotel is right on the river. We had the room with a balcony just left of the elevator on the 2nd floor. This had a panel of windows with view of sea and one to side so ventillation was great. Of course, it had air conditioning and heating, a refrigerator, etc but we like to open the windows. We stayed in a different room when we first arrived, right from the elevator on 2nd floor. This also was nice with a good view of the river, just no balcony. It overlooked the restaurant but very little noise could be heard and seemed like everyone was gone by 10 pm or so. The best part of the stay for us was the welcoming staff at the front desk. They all spoke English, but best of all was the care and friendliness of Minh Quan. Having worked here for 10 years it is amazing how approachable he is to each guest. He arranged good transportation for us that was not available information on-line. The attached restaurant is very convenient with reasonably priced foods and and English menu. Some restaurant staff speak English. We rented bikes for 4 days from the gentleman in front of the hotel to explore the area. Tour boats come and go all day but we think you can see all that possible sites on your own with the bikes. There is a great market just a few blocks left of the restaurant. It seems like after 5 the whole waterfront in that area becomes a night market. Quiet, hospital and just a short bus or car ride from Ho Chi Minh City.

Minh Quan host is the best ever

I'm from Roma and was on holiday trip in Saigon and decided to take a 3 days trip to Ben Tre in February 2017 and this hotel recommended by a friends in Saigon saying this is a reasonable price hotel. Ok, I did stayed for 1 night and by the following day packed my bag to different hotel. I'm not saying this is a bad hotel but if you just like "sleep and go" then this is the one for you. If you looking a relaxing place with luxury then I've no comment on this. Therefore, I say no more about rooms and services but if you look at me comments then decide for yourself.
Overall, hotel is good location with lively atmosphere, nice river at the front and nearby with restaurant and bar. If you want a budget hotel then this is the one!

Second to the best last

We stayed for two nights. The hotel is huge but they havent used the space very well and it seems very empty. 

The room was OK, bathroom has seen better days but the shower was warm which is good. River view was very nice. The bed is the best part of the hotel - comfy, big and soft. Theres a fridge and plenty of space. 

There isnt a lot of choice of hotels in Ben Tre and I think this was one of the cheapest but its still a bit too much for what you get. 

Breakfast was included but it was very average. Some choice (noodles, omlette etc) but the women serving were kind of rude and seemed annoyed we were there. The omlette wasn't great and you could get better noodles on the side of the street. The breakfast room is empty and huge. 

The whole atmosphere of the hotel is pretty grim and the only reason I'd visit again is for the bed. They were also adamant on keeping our passports until checkout which I found strange.
