Our family group needed a night’s stay close to the river & boats. They accommodated us with minimal fuss. I’ll go against most of the reviews here & say that the rooms & linen were clean. We asked for, and got, a room with a window which makes a difference and the air conditioner worked. It is a two star hotel so the poor TV reception and the shower that had water come from every join & opening (at least there was water & hot if you waited) were minor irritations. 
It’s a hotel that is well located and may tend to trade on that rather than providing that extra facility. A pleasant stay. 

Not for Princesses 

the staff is unfriendly and uncommitted. the hotel rooms are small and congested. what shocked us the most is that the first thing the reception staff ask us is to book directly with them the next time we come back.WE THINK THAT TRIPADVISOR need to delete this hotel from your portfolio. As for us we will not return willingly to this hotel and will not recommend it to our friends and relatives.

Disappointed stay

I'll keep this short by merely listing our main grievances: 
- despite the "Cleaned and disinfected" ribbon across the toilet's lid, there was a pubic hair on the seat (not ours)
- as another reviewer noted, the toilet seat is comically small for the toilet bowl
- the towels were stained (we requested new ones and those were also stained)
- the sheets were dirty with black smears
- the room had excessive water damage and smelled like a basement dungeon 
- the room was full of mosquitos
- the back panel of the closet was missing
- the staff at the reception was completely lackadaisical, and kept our passports (though this is common practice in Vietnam)

Staying there, even for a single night, was a miserable experience, as we felt disgusted even resting our heads on pillows of questionable cleanliness. 

If you're considering this place, or if you've made the mistake to book it already, do yourself a favor: walk away, and go a few meters down the street to Tan Phuoc 1 Hotel (9 Ngo Quyen St.), which is within the same price range but very very clean.

Stay away!

I booked 4 hotels with agoda. 3 hotels said the room I booked is not available. Ngan Ha Hotel, Can Tho, Vietnam, put me in a different room. the restroom/toilet does not have any window nor exhaust fan. no one can stay in the hotel room after someone used toilet. When I checked out, Ngan Ha Hotel demanded twice the price I booked. I had to pay whatever they wanted to get my passport back. I complained agoda, agoda did not take action. I wrote review about it, agoda did not post my review.

agoda and Ngan Ha Hotel, Can Tho, Vietnam

This hotel, while cheap for Can Tho ($25USD per room), is not worth your time and money.
8 of us arrived in Can Tho without a hotel reservation, and the first few hotels we tried to get into were fully booked. 
The taxi driver who we met at the bus station had a recommendation...
When we checked into Ngan Ha, the linens were visibly dirty, there was a half-empty bottle of water on the bed table, and I saw hairs in the bathtub.  The "mattresses" were terrible, the toilet seat was too small for the toilet bottom, and the air conditioner was underpowered for the size of the room.
All 4 of the rooms we had were dark and dirty and we were so bummed out we took our half of the party to better hotel nearby.
After spending 20 minutes at the front desk trying to get a few bath towels with no luck, my father and his wife stayed for one night, and then switched to a much better hotel.  
I would NEVER recommend anyone go here!

Bottom of the Barrel

My wife and I both wanted a massage at Ngân Há Hotel. The elevator was out of order, so the concierge ushered us out the door, to take the service elevator next door. Upon reaching the fifth floor, we ordered the treatments we wanted, and was rather surpriserd when we were asked to pay up front. 

My wife asked for a foot massage, and was led into a smoking lounge (!) with an overwhelming stench and full ashtrays, where she was given the “the worst foot massage of her life.” Apparently her foot was hardly touched, but her thighs are full of bruises today. The girl giving the massage was oblivious, as she was watching TV throughout.

I on the other hand asked for a body massage. The girl giving me the massage obviously didn’t know what she was doing, and the treatment mostly consisted of her pummeling me with her fists. This was also, rather comically done to my forehead, which most likely resulted in the splintering headache I suffered later in the night. After she ran out of places to punch, she touched my privates and asked “massa?”  Surprised I refused her offer, she proceded to helplessly pummel me all over again, as she didn’t know what else to do. 

When our respective treatments were finished, we were both presented with a slip asking how much we wanted to pay as a bonus. Not if, but how much.  We both refused, but it was hard to explain why, as our therapists slash prostitutes didn’t speak any English. When we were trying to leave, the manager and a lackey blocked our way, and showed us the tip-slip again. The athmosphere was decidedly unpleasant, and I honestly felt if I hadn’t been at least two feet taller, and seven stones heavier they’d have mugged us. We pushed our way out. 

Absolutely abysmal place! 

I don’t know why Ngän Ha Hotel would have such staff, but I strongly recommend everyone to stay well clear of the place! Kindly note: We didn't actually stay at the hotel, so we can't comment on the rooms, but based on the service this place is most thoroughly NOT recommended!
