We just wanted to have a little break after the boat trip and rest a little in the viva restaurant. Before we ordered we observed a huge ant family while dismantle a cockroach under the table.🦗🐜🦗🐜 Good from far, far from good.🙈

Great place for a late drink, staff are good , some have good English so ordering drinks not a real problem. But be aware there is a gang of young children who claim they are poor and pray on tourists and beg but they have mobile phones , they are not poor they are criminals so beware 

Evening Drinking 

We had a basic room, just 1 towel for 2 guests, decent facilities, dirty blanket without bed sheet, until midnight loud music that forced us to stay awake although we had to wake up the next morning at 4 for the Mekong tour. Good location though. 

Bar ok, but not the hotel!

Great staff, quaint room for good price. Small hotel with pub downstairs. I had room 202 which is considered "deluxe" window with river view. It was perfect for what I needed. For approximately $15 a night you can't beat it. Room is clean, AC and fan work well. Have seen room 203 but I'm guessing it's the best room in hotel. I'm here on Friday night, DJ is playing in hip vibrant pub but when I go upstairs to room I don't hear anything. I highly recommend for solo or couples traveling. 

Really nice spot on the river

good room, good location near the harbour (useful to have a boat excursion the day after, usually they are early in the morning) , good price! staff really helpful and kind!
there is music until 11pm in the cafè downstair but the room are good soundproof.

good hotel!

We had a beer here in the afternoon as it was blazing hot and we were thirsty. This was a quiet place at that time with only that us in and the Barman didn't seem that keen on having any customers. Eventually we got served, I went in and paid and we left.

What a change in the evening! We went for a cocktail about 8 PM and it was rammed inside and out. We eventually managed to get a table and was served by a guy with an electronic pad of some kind. After 15 minutes one of the cocktails came out, I had nearly finished it by the time the other one arrived. That only happened after we had chased it.

No doubt place will continue to do well but it will be without our custom.

Good cocktails but poor service

What a s@&t hole. Terrible music played mega loud. The draught was ok & the service was good. But they started playing euro rave music mega loud at 8.15pm. this is not Ibiza! Probably alright for a drink in daytime 

Terrible or good if you're a Chav

Referring to the bar on the street corner and assume its run by the people who manage the hotel. This place is run down, dirty and the silly seats were just the pitts. Getting served was more of a mission to find a waiter and when i asked to use the gents i was pointed to a passageway strewn with pots oans boxes and god knows what was lying within. Glad i seen this early as this automatically put food out of the question.
Had two beers at 58000 and had to leave due to the silly chairs and water leaking down off the horrid outside terrace roof. Avoid at all costs.
