Terrible hotel and poor experience..Basil Fawlty without the laughs...greasy bland noodles, damp smelling rooms, dirty stained bedding useless moody staff... Had promised free bikes, TV,  kitchen facilities, air conditioning, bidet, bar etc...none of this was available...had to ring their booking seller who wrote all of the above in hotel description and hotel owner to complain.... finally received compensation from our original booking company....moved to another hotel in dalat...don't stay

Don't Stay

Having arrived with high expectations due to the description given of rooms and facilities on  the booking agency we were really disappointed !
They had advertised air conditioning ,TV and free bicycles non of which were available.
We were initially given a twin room without a window having booked a double... they moved us to a double ,again no window and so damp the wall was wet....moved again to another double ,still no window also damp and musty smelling.The hotel also told our booking agent they had upgraded us to a deluxe/ superior room ...Rubbish!!!
The staff were unhelpful and looked miserable.
The continental breakfast cooked by the reception staff for us ended up greasy packet noodles.
After much frustration and upset ...calls to booking manager and owner they did provide the TV and bicycles at lunch time day 2 but without locks .... more waiting!
Left with damp smelling clothes and nothing positive to say about this hotel....Do not book here!!

WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND!!

Check in was easy and swift, our room however had no window so was very dark and dingy with no air conditioning or a fan either!! An hour later we went back to reception to book a bus to Ho Chi Minh the next day. The receptionist called up and booked us the 11am bus with another bus picking us up at 10am, perfect! At 9:45am, we were waiting in the reception... 10:30am, the bus still hadn't arrived so I asked and after a phone call, apparently the bus 'forgot to get us'. I appreciate this isn't the hotels fault. By now, we had 15 minutes to get our bus so we asked the hotel to pay for our taxi as it wasn't our fault, through a few no's and hmm's, she gave us 20,000 (being independence day and costing us 35,000 on the way there, it wasn't enough. We were then told the bus would wait until 11:30am for us to arrive. A taxi came at 11:15am and rushed us to the bus station (costing 78,000!!), where I went to the desk to get our tickets. To find out the hotel had not booked any tickets for us in the first place to catch a bus to the city!!!!! Disgusting service and not what you expect when you need a tour to be provided and quickly! Do not book tours or buses here

Poor service!!

This nice hotel we visited to have a few relaxed days in Dalat. We came back here for the second time. The rooms are clean and the staff is always very friendly. English is mostly not usual to speak in Dalat because not many foreign tourists come here. Same in this hotel. But the staff just now began to improve their abilities in that language what we really appreciate. The building looks really nice and has a lot of beautiful flowers in front of. Breakfast is very simple but ok. The surrounding is quiet. You can reach the city of Dalat and it's market within a 20 minutes walk. In the quiet, friendly and charming atmosphere of this hotel we did not feel like simple tourists, we felt a bit like home. So we will come back. See you. :)
