I had such a great time, I made new friends. The staff went above and beyond to help, and make sure that my stay was  euphoric and comfortable. Felt like I was at home. Thanks bookaholics I will definitely be back.

Amazing

My friend and I booked in for 2 nights here after reading really good reviews online for this hostel. Even though it wasn’t expensive, it was still more than you would typically pay for a hostel in Vietnam so we were quite confident this place would meet our expectations. Upon check in, we were asked for our name and our passports. He took our passports and just started walking towards our room without saying a word. No mention of check out time, the fact that you could get breakfast, laundry, bikes for rent, activities to do to Da Nang or ANYTHING! He didn’t even mention why he took our passports. Seeing as though there’s no information plastered on the walls of the hostel either, we had nothing to go off of. The next morning we walked downstairs asking about breakfast cause I had read on my booking/reviews that there was breakfast served. We had come down at 11 (which is a bit of a stretch for breakfast, I know but we were never told the night before) asking if we could still order breakfast. She told us it was too late (which was okay, we knew we had slept past typical breakfast time) but again, had to ask her when it’s served or if it’s even included in our reservation in the first place so we would know for the next morning. I would mention though that this lady was super friendly and apologetic that we couldn’t still have breakfast. Our room was clean and beds were pretty comfy but none of our bedding seemed fresh and had a weird smell to it. One HUGE bonus though is they have the cutest hostel kitten and the receptionist let us play with her. As much as I wouldn’t say this is a bad hostel, it isn’t great either. I think helpful and informative staff is important and this place just seemed lacked it. 

Didn’t live up to our expectations.. 

We arrived and we didn’t realized we booked a room with no window and no bathroom. Good thing they had another room with a bathroom and a balcony. For 6$us more. The place is cute. The staff were really helpful and nice to us. 

The decoration is nice but as the other bad reviews were saying, it is not clean. Our bed had a huge stain on the sheets. There were hair all over the floor and Q-tip underneath the bed (with dust and more hair) The bed is seriously the hardest we had in our stay in Vietnam. The TV was not working, the only light is a huge neon, the balcony has 2 broken chair, out of 2! The terrasse is super dirty and no way to have the toilet door closed since it is broken!! 

I know we are paying 25$us for 2 nights but, dirty sheet and hair all over the place is unacceptable. This is just basic. I had 7$ a night hotel and they were better. 

Like I was saying, I really wanted to like the place, it is a cool hostel, they would need to give this place just a little more love and it would be awesome.

I knew this place by a friend. She told me that it's very lovely hostel for alone travellers. And it didn't make me feel disapointed :)

located in the center of Danang, I can easily go everywhere. I rent a motobike here, and there's many kinds for you to choose. If you want a pro hotel, you shouldn't choose this one. But if you want to find a friendly place, and feeling like home, i think it's the best hostel. 

The host is so warm and she show me many interesting place to go. We talk for hours like the old friends. I will come back here some days. 

a lovely place for the one who loves books

We were here some days in this August, and we're really love this hostel. It's in the center of the city, and there is a small mart next door, very convinient for us to buy everything.

The hostel is decorated impressively with books and light colors. We stayed in the dorm room for 2 nights, because the private rooms had been fulled. It's large and comfortable. I can lie on the chair all day for reading and relaxing. the next 3 days, we stayed in the private room. It's a little bit small, but warm and cozy! All the rooms have air condition, hit water. 

The thing I love the most in this hostel is the staff. they are very friendly and helful. We rent a motobike here, and then they showed us how to go around the city, some interesting place and local food. 

And the last thing, it's very cheap. With this price, I don't think you can find something better :)

A super cool hostel for travellers

We booked here for two nights because of the good reviews and the pictures made it seem quaint and perfect for a quiet stay. 
The decor was as it was in the pictures but to be honest the place didn't look like it had been cleaned in the 3 months since opening. We booked a private room but when we turned up we were told there was a problem with our booking and they didn't have a private room free so we would have to stay in a 14 bed dorm room for the first night. Reluctantly we agreed after we received a refund for the difference considering we had no other option as it was getting too late to find somewhere else. Our contact details were provided on the booking so it was very annoying not to have been told before we arrived. 

The hostel dorm itself is nice, beds are comfortable and facilities good enough (large lockers, curtains on bunks, ensuite bathrooms) but the sheets had stains on them. The bathroom didn't have a door on it (it was shower/toilet cubicles inside the bathroom), which would have been fine if it didn't mean the smell of wee filled the room. 

We struggled to sleep on the first night as we normally do in dorms for the snoring and late nighters who turn the lights on (completely not the girls fault who run this, but this was the reason why we booked a private). However, we had a very comfortable sleep in our private room the next day which was very nicely decorated, although we did see a large rat in the corridor outside. 

Good wifi, and mopeds available for hire. However the bike we rented was slightly more expensive than other bike rentals in Da Nang and the one we were given was missing it's wing mirror. 

The girls who run this hostel are very sweet and they have a lovely idea for a very nice place, but they need to put much more effort into cleaning and ensuring that all sheets are changed inbetween guests even in the dorm rooms. 

Location is out of the way from the centre of town but good if you have a bike and want to go to the peninsular.
