Super quiet at night and good breakfast! Too much happy water at the family dinner though. I recommend any travellers this hostel. Every one very friendly, I went to Ha Giang with my friend to do a great loop in SEAsia ?. They are not new to the game!  The words won't be enough to make it astonishing.  ??  Definitely the best experience in Vietnam!  

Ha giang loop

We arrived early around 10am and what we saw was appalling. There was no one except 2 kids, one about 7/8 yo, another one 5/6 yo. They are the ones who manned the place. They called a young man who came about 5 mins because the kids didn't understand us. He let us checked in early after the kids clean the room. Talking about child labour. The 2 kids cleaned all the rooms the whole morning.

The room is basic. The reception is dirty. The housekeeper room is even dirtier. There were rubbish all over the place. But the room is quite clean. The place is hot and the couch is thin. The pool table has no cues. They offer breakfast with the room but you don't see any kitchen or utensils. The road to the hotel is spoilt and my friend fell off his bike turning out from the hotel.

Not all reviews are legit. 
It doesn't qualify for all the good reviews it got. Everything is so dated and look under the bed and you can actually see the accumulated dirt.

After staying for about 3 hours we gave up. We checked out and to be fair we paid. We asked the kids to call the young man, he came and we asked him how much we should pay - he said in full. We are fine with it because it was so bad we are glad we left. 

I don't understand why they got high rating 

Huong is a super host and welcomed us as her friends ! nice place to rest after all day riding !!! Super quiet at night and good breakfast! Too much happy water at the family dinner though. I recommend any travellers this hostel

Amazing stay

This stay was amazing. Shin was a great host and very welcoming. We were wet and exhausted from the trip.. 6 hours + an accidental 5 hour detour!! We were so happy to arrive at such a great home stay. 

The showers were hot and even though we arrived late we were still welcome for the family dinner. The dinner was so nice in the garden with candle light and delicious food. Best spring rolls we had in our stay in Vietnam. It was very social, we played music and Shin shared some rice wine with us. Also thought us have to cheers in Vietnamese. It was especially nice to be able to have a conversation with a local and have dinner together with other guests as well. 

The beds we fine and protected from mozzies. In the morning with met some more of Shin’s family and there was just a very nice athmosphere. Best pancakes we have had in Vietnam with a delicious banana smoothie. Shin helped is pick the best road for he last day and gave us a free bottle of water. You can also get gas at the hone stay. Would recommend anyone staying here! Thank you so much for a great stay!

Exactly what you need after a day of riding!

Had a great time staying with the owner Mr Tuan. He is a great host and very friendly. The hostel is in a great location surrounded by mountains and clean air. Would definitely stay again. 
The dinner was plentiful and the rooms and clean and comfortable. Plenty of happy water to go around.

Beautiful location, great hostel

This location was beautiful! Beautiful views and close to the waterfall :) the hostel room is pretty generic. Nothing special but exactly what you need and for such a great price! The staff were very accommodating when we needed to add people to our booking! The food was really good and the beer cold!
