I arrived late at night, was greeted by the owners with massive smiles. It was lovely. 

Room has everything you need. Aircon, fan, bathroom with shower and bed. Also waking up the one of the best uninterrupted views in cat ba was amazing. There are so many restaurants and massage places at your doorstep if you need. 

I rented a bike from them for about $4 for the day. 

I couldn’t recommend here more, if you are looking for a place to stay while you cruise around cat ba. DO IT. 

Best view and service 

Hotel is basic but for the price what else do you expect.
Hotel staff friendly (not much English) but you can get by with a smile and some non verbal gestures. Trip planner next door (Cat vision helped out) 
Room view from fifth floor was beautiful!
Location was in the middle of main strip but not too noisy at night (faint karaoke can be heard)
Scotter hire was super easy, bike reliable and cheap! 

Cheap and cheerful

This hotel is very basic, but, the air con is fantastic, WiFi strong and the beds very comfy. I had the best sleep since arriving in Vietnam! The owners don’t speak much English but are very willing to help and accommodating. The location is great for the touristy bit of Cat Ba and it is noisy at night. I don’t think you can get much better for the price.

This a budget hotel but exception value

This hotel is very well situated in the main tourist area.  The owners ( especially the lady) are exceptionally friendly and can't do enough to help. The room we stayed in was on the third floor which we preferred to the fifth floor as there was a much better view from within the room. The air conditioning was very efficient and the wifi worked well. The rooms are basic but clean. We hired a motorbike from the owners at a competitive price and it was fine. A first rate budget experience !

First class value

We,ve stayed in the hotel for two nights in a room on the fifth floor with a big terrace and a splendid view on the harbour and the bay. It's not luxurious but the prace and the view is worth it. Additionally, the family running the place is lovely and helpful. We hired there a motorbike for a reasonable price. Fully recommend that place!

Hotel cheap what's a good point. nice view of the upper floors on the bay from what to spread his belongings on the balcony upstairs or in the hallways to dry them the room just enough comfort with the mattresses being a little hard. there's the air conditioning and a fan per bed. the bathroom is pretty dirty but enough. we found a cockroach in the room as well as cigarettes and big glass under the beds. the person holding the hotel is at first very nice, but quickly tried. in fact, we stole a scooter just at home (it's been raised considerably in view of the old comments). so this was a two-day rental afterwards. we arrived at the 14th hour of the next day, but it's not the 21st, but we still have 3 days to make it a very good deal. we've got to try to make the scooter quite comfortable. we've got to have a very good price for the first half hour when it's ready to rent it. so we've asked for two days.

Go see somewhere else.

It's very convenient but for the price it's pretty much enough. warm house asking for the sea view it's very nice. bathroom with shower.

That's nice.

We recommend this beautiful hostel very well located on the Croisette, and only 15 minutes from the beach. We were very warmly welcomed. Breakfast is not included but try the banana pancakes! A wonder!! We also took a day trip to the national park, with trek, boat and cove! Super top!

Stay at the top in the heart of Catba Town

A rare moment in a family hotel, you will be greeted with the smile and kindness of the family. The rooms are clean but don't expect anything superfluous, but the view of the terrace is breathtaking! The beds are Vietnamese...a bit tough but it's okay, we stayed for a week!

The reception and service was very nice, cleanliness in the bathroom was advertised and it was upgraded within 15 minutes, bed and floor very clean, views breathtaking. Facility very old and fragile, AC was good and there was always warm water in the bathroom due to the room's own water heater. Old building, due to which occasionally an ant was seen.
