There is no lift, need to use stairs. The fan do not working, the small pillows smells bad, I think they dont wash and change it. The mattress..so hard like i was sleeping on a floor. Lastly, it too noisy here because the window facing outside and the streets i tell you like a live club so you'll never get a good sleep until maybe 4am.

Budget but bad

The room was exactly as advertised and fair value.  Hotel is thru travel agency office.  Right in main Bar Street opposite a big noisy bar with music to about 3am: so ok place if you are partying but if you wanna sleep, find somewhere else.

Noisy

This budget hotel is vert nice for u backpacker traveler, the location is very strategic in bui vien street near junction, the facility is the good one. Also the staff are very kind and friendly. I recommend this one for u all.

Good budget hotel

I was out here after my other reservation at saigoneer was bungled. This place is awful. Super loud and noisy, the staff woke me up and entered my room at 1 am to ask about a motorbike, no hot water, etc.  they offered a refund but then didn’t. avoid this hostel and pick any other one nearby. 

Avoid this bad hotel!

After a long bustrip from Moc Bai border, I was sick of searching hostel, and they had a small room availble. It was very quite in compare to the frontside where the backpacker street is. here are disco's pubs and n till late. 

Sleeping on the back of the building is the best.

I have had this review removed 2 or 3 times now so will keep this brief. 
I left my money in my bag whilst I went in search of my partner (who was eating in a restaurant down the road) 
I had been ill so I stayed in the room (no window - only a rotating fan on the top floor so it was unbearable) when someone knocked at the door. When I asked why they disappeared. I was a little frightened so I went out bout 5 minutes later to sit in the restaurant with my boyfriend. I stupidly left my bag there as we were only gone for about 20 minutes. When I came back I had about £350 worth of Thai bhat gone from my bag and some vietnamese dong. When we confronted the staff we were shouted at and told to ring the police - which is next door and clearly in on it all as had a rude response from them too. We packed up and left.

This used to be a really nice place, as per my past reviews, but now not so !
Both a change of staff, plus the noisy night club across the road which pays whomever to play music louder than a chainsaw until 0600. Hence even I shifted. I can only hope that anyone reading this heads my advice, as I live here, not a tourist. Find a place off Bui Vien Street, where you can actually get some sleep. It makes me sad writting this, please avoid ! Try any of the hotels/ hostels on Pham Ngu Lao Street. Very quiet & 5 minutes from the action. Cheers.

Really Bad & Noisy Now !!!!!!!!

We stayed last April for 3 days 2 night. Room are clean but unfortunately the mattress a bit hard, we had back problem every morning, staff are average.
If you are kind of "backpackers" who is just looking for something fun, Tan 58 hotel is good place to stay. You can't expect sleep peacefully for sure, their location at "District 1" so most of the bar&club closed around 5-6 am especially "Go2 Bar" is open 24 hours.
