It’s located in district 10 so it’s a little ways out of the main touristy area which I enjoyed. Very simple accommodations and nothing special. I’ve stayed here twice while visiting my boyfriend in HCMC. It’s a great place if you just want a place to sleep. Excellent WiFi! 

Nothing Special

After reading all the good reviews over this hotel, I find me a day here. The landlady is nice, the room is ok, nice.
But things change right after I turn the air-con on, the noise, its outraged. Of course, I ask the lady if I can change to another room, no room available, she says. Its dark and I already make the payment, what else could I do. And as if the air-con is not enough, there comes the water pumper, its right above us, and the harmony it created just sync with the air-con to conduct the masterpiece, mind-drilling experience. And trust me when I said, as long as the air-con is on, the noise will not go.
And by the morning, ask I wake up, I find that even with a little pull, the door is wide open. Yes, the lock on the door is useless, you dont need a key to open it.
One more thing, part of it is my fault, I make an agreement by phone earlier that day as if I check out by 6pm, the price is 400.000 VND. But I get carried away, and dont check out till 9pm, and the extra cost is 200.000 VND!!! Excuse me, you should have make a phone call to warn us about that by 6pm, thats what normal ppl would do. But as I said, its my fault.
If any of you want a piece of my experience, dont hesitate and give a little push on the room 300`s door. It will be wide opened for you.

The air-con noise

The owner is super friendly, she always smiles whenever she meets us. Room and the bathroom on 2nd floor are spacious and clean. We definitely come back when we have another chance stay in district 10. 

Great stay

Stayed for 3 nights when we first got to Ho chi Minh city. We had 2 rooms with a bathroom in between for our family of 5(3 teenagers) We loved the area.....you wont see other tourists and the street that Citi Home is on shows daily Vietnamese life. We returned to Ho chi Minh at the end of the month and stayed here again....this time having a room with a Balcony. Citi Home is close to the train...about 11 minutes walk, close to convenience store(next door)..lots of fruit sellers, coffee shops, an amazing fried banana seller not far from Citi Home...a great hairdresser up the road called  hair Salon Chau...and a young man tailor who we got to do some mends on clothes. The people who run Citi Home Alex and Yiep, are the best thing about Citi Home though..very helpful....booking Grab cars for us etc. The breakfast has 5 choices...the Bun Bo Hue was the best I tried in Vietnam! The place is not flash....so if that is what you want the owners have a more upmarket place just up the road.We are really glad we stayed here....we stayed in 4 places in Ho chi minh city and we have such good memories of Hoa Hung street and Citi home!

Came back again and it felt like home!

A nice, cheap and comfortable hotel run by a very friendly and helpful family who allowed us the use of their kitchen any time we wanted, (we were told to use it as if it was our own home!) it was so good to be able to prepare and cook our own meals! When we booked our stay we received a well informed email explaining exactly where to get a taxi from and how much it should cost (from the airport - no more than 150,000) so that we wouldn't get hustled!

Friendly family run hotel

It was a backpacker place to stay so good for a budgeted hotel. I stayed one night and paid around 380,000 dong  for the night and includes breakfast. The owner was very accommodating and also you can rent a motorbike in their place.
