SnowGarden Hotel by Gvrenting was a good serviced apartment.  I am very happy with my stay during the 2 months I was in Vietnam.  Their serviced apartment has a maintenance team ready to help whenever I needed assistance.  Definitely would recommend for long term stay.

So this place really isn't a hotel anymore. It's under new management and they have done an exceptional job turning this place around as serviced apartments. I stayed here from Mar '23 - Jun '24 before moving into another apartment in a different district under the same management team. They are responsive and do a great job taking care of things like maintenance and fulfilling their obligations as a property manager. The building is constantly being upgraded with new perks available to the tenants. There is a rooftop pool, garden, and gym available as well as a nice cafe right in front of the building. The room I was in was far more spacious than other places I checked and reasonably affordable with a really good location in phu nhuan. Definitely give this place a shot if you're looking at renting long term. 

Great Apartment with Amenities in Nice Location

Since the new management team came, everything is significantly better. Whenever I needed something, I filled in my information on their app and someone would come to take care of it in a few hours. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good location, too.

A great place to stay

The most awful experience in my life! I lived there for 2 months and these 2 months were the worst in my life. The management, cleaning service and the attitude! 
Don’t even get closer to this place because eventually the manager will bring the police after she pay them and she’ll kick you out even tho you have a contract!!!

The most awful experience!

After staying in 3 hotels in Ho Chi Minh City, this was the cleanest room we stayed in. No bugs in the room and the quality of the bed was A+. The pool has a phenomenal view and was clean and cool. Its a very chic spot (slightly tacky cuz all the plants are plastic) but it was a refreshing break from the other hotels in HCMC.

The room is okay, but the management will try to rip you off. There is no kettle or microwave. The pool is always dirty, sauna has been broken for months, no air con in the gym (and most of the machines there are broken). 
DO NOT STAY THERE, it’s not worth it

The amenities are missing, poor cleaning service

We stayed in Snow Garden hotel for 6 months, with and it states in the contract “This about rental fee includes fee of using water, internet, cable tv, management fee, basic housekeeping charge, fee for using swimming pool, gym, sauna”. (- in fact no sauna, a dead bird that was by the dirty pool for weeks and a gym with no AC). 
We deposited 14 mil, 6 months passed, we checked out, they said they’d give the deposit back within 7 days as they needed to check if there was any damage and deduct electricity costs. 
They recently got back to me and informed that 1,000,000 VND would be deducted for cleaning fee - “It took 2 days cleaning up all your apartment after you leaving. So that's the fee for cleaning services (especially the fridge and kitchen cabinet)”. 
I am not gonna lie and say that we left the place spotless, but we cleared everything apart from a few vegetables in the fridge and some tea stuff in one cupboard because we ran out of garbage bags and the truck arrived earlier than expected. 
Considering that it’s a hotel where cleaning is included and all extra work they needed to do is to toss out a few products from the kitchen, I find this situation extorting. 
There is nothing in the contract that would anyhow relate to additional cost of cleaning. 
I asked to explain where that number came from and if they would deduct it from a guest that stays in a hotel for a few nights and leaves some food in the fridge, but I’ve been ignored. The refuse to provide any documentation. 
I've got a few messages from former tenants complaining about this hotel and their other branch Tea Garden hotel. 
The staff doesn't care about customers, we had issues such a leaking air con and it took them several days to fix it. Not recommended

Do not stay there, they will rip you off

We arrived around 5pm in the early evening and the key had been left with the cafe downstairs. Not a problem. The problem was that the apartment was filthy and hadn’t received proper cleaning in what looked like weeks. Lots of marks, stains, dishes in the cupboard that hadn’t been washed up properly etc. There were ants everywhere. We tried contacting someone through 1 phone number we had but  nobody picked up. We assumed the number was going through to the locked and empty office on the 1st floor up. Long story short, they did not come to clean the room until the next morning and we checked into another hotel for the night. They wouldn’t refund us even for the initial night which really dampened things even more so we just didn’t feel compelled or comfortable returning and never went back. Though they’re strong words I rarely like using, I have to say the staff just seemed incompetent and extremely uncaring. I’d recommend not staying here to avoid potential problems like us. 

I’d give it 0 if I could

Quite difficult to locate the place, the signboard is block by trees in front. There are many small turning which make the taxi difficult to find the place. The main entrance to the hotel is at the side alley. The front entrance is a shop house(fruit drink and coffee). Reception is at level 2, just one small office style with 3 PC work desk. Staff can understand simple English. I was given room at level 4, (one lift available only). Staircase are clean and Snow White colour. Room is consider clean,but the wall need to touch up a bit as there are stain and dirt mark. There is a small balcony, designed is quite bad. Air conditioner compressor just besides, no view as it was totally block by another building. Toilet is quite big and clean. There is washing machine and refrigerate to use. Basic cookware and cutlery available for cooking. Over all quite pleased with the hotel.

Snow garden hotel and apartment 

I travel through the World and East Asia and stay in Many hotels.

This is an honest review from a paying guest at this 'hotel'. 

I can honestly say as a seasoned traveler that I have never ever stayed in such an appalling place as this 'Snow Gardens' So called 'Hotel'.

The pictures Do not portray the facts and are misleading advertising in every way.

1. Small room with no proper cleaning ever taken place.
2. Dirty glass partition, never cleaned.
3. Bathroom filthy even had someone's old used soap still in the shower. At least there was soap as the so called 'hotel' gives Zero soap, shampoo, etc etc out.
4. One dirty stained greasy bath towel given out for two days. No clean linen for two days at least.
5. The fabric of the room was badly kept, stained curtains, dirty walls etc, etc.
6. Constant very loud construction drilling next door. 
7. Dirty pool water never cleaned.
8. No kettle or basic means to make hot water for drinks as any real ‘hotel’ would have.
9. Staff 'management' on level 202 that are completely indifferent to these issues and completely ignore your requests for help, etc. Even laughing at you.
10. Only one key card given for two guests staying.
11. Far more expensive for far less than any other real hotel I have stayed in, ever.
12. The area is nothing they advertised. Literally living in a slum, Dirty, Noisy and far from the city centre down dangerous crowded lanes and road miles away. From the City centre. 
13. The so called Mefarm Coffee cafe is very small, crowded with people just laying around on the limited furnishings not buying anything taking up what little space there is. The Menu advertised on Snow Garden ‘hotel’ does not exist for instance they have no ‘Spring rolls’ and staff seem uninterested and totally indifferent even rude, not to wanting to serve new non Vietnamese guests.
14. No Western fast food outlets anywhere in this vicinity.
15. No daily cleaning or daily renewal of toiletries in the room as any real ‘hotel’ would have daily. 
16. Pool / gym area where fake leaves fallen off and tatty old, nothing like the picture advertised. 

We found another guest on a long term contract staying on the fourth floor fighting the 'hotel' management for basic very necessary repairs they refuse to make.  

This so called 'hotel' is not a proper hotel with what comes standard in any real hotel in Vietnam let alone the world. Save yourself the misery and despair and go elsewhere.
