Final night after a tour of Cambodia. Good location near the City center. 20 min taxi drive to the Saigon River and hydrofoil ride to Vung Tau and the resort beaches.
Very clean with a $3:00 paid breakfast which was not too wonderful. Friendly staff

One ngith stand

The hotel is strategically located in the "Hj Basiroh" lane, which is famous among the Muslims. Most Msians like to stay at this lane as there are ample Halal food and shops selling Muslim-attire.
As for the hotel, it's an average hotel but worth the money.
The hotel staff are mostly friendly, especially the Bellboy named Leo who would come to your help when you have much to carry after a day's shopping. :)
The rooms are fairly sized, not too big or small. Not much choice for breakfast but edible.

Location very strategic

The best thing about this locale is location.  Close to everything.  Don't let the lack of smiling faces get you down.  Good news is that it's clean, decent breakfast and a good place to catch up on sleep if you just arrived.

Great Location, modest accomodations

This hotel is well located but doesn’t pass the standards. 
Staff do not like to assist you, make no effort and argue with each other 
The bathrooms are beyond basic. 
Only the front rooms have windows so most clients are in a concrete box. 

Not worth it

Blessing Saigon is one of old hotel in Hochiminh city. Served many customers, especially for Muslim. It has good location in Nguyen An Ninh street, easy for shopping, 1 minute to Ben Thanh market and Halal restaurant

Good location

Stayed in two rooms in this hotel, plus used one more as a day room with a group. In all 3 the bathrooms were very badly arranged. To take a shower you have to stand in a corner bath, in it's corner, and the bath likes to wobble when you get to that corner, I nearly fell a few times. To add to the pleasure, the shower head is not adjustable, so it practically pours water on the adjacent wall, there is a 5cm gap between the wall and bath so most of your shower water ends up on the bathroom floor - which in turn is badly levelled and so the water stays there for the duration of your stay... 
I have told staff that the bath tips sideways and nearly made me fall, but they said it's ok, it really isnt that difficult to level bath feet, they aren't bothered though. We had a VIP room, which looked nothing like on the pretty photos, it was infested with ants and oposite lift - the lift makes a lot of chiming noises each time it stopps, drove me crazy at night. Having very little sleep after a very long day, I've put the "do not disturb" sign on the door and gone back to sleep to be woken up by a phone call in the morning - it was reception asking why don't I want to be disturbed. Washing service at 30 000d per item is by far the most expensive I've encountered in Vietnam, with the room at 1 600 000 per night I would expect at least a complimentary coffee, but none to be found. Kettle didn't fit on its' pod, so I was concerned about being electrocuted, and not only no iron in the rooms - but also info stating that you are not allowed to iron or wash your clothes in the room. God forbid you get some water on your bathroom floor eh? When we were changing our room, we had to pack up, and bring all our luggage downstairs to check out and have room checked, before we got the new room - a lot of faffing for the sake of faffing. New room was away from the lift - which was good, but had no window, it was however next to a staircase housing a friendly rat... Can't say anything great about the location too, just very uneventfull. I am certain you can find a much better hotel for this price.

Ant infested

The room rate i got fr agoda.com was surprisingly cheap, not to mention the only good thing about this hotel is they are near to ben tanh market and thats it. Receptionists and bellboys are all unhelpful and grumpy, unwillingness to help. The room we got has a leak and we asked for the room to be cleaned cause water leak was all over the bathroom but to no avail. Worst experience.

Dirty room, unhelpful staff, bad experience

When I arrived late and tired I was given a stale smoky room with worn furniture. When i complained to reception they sent someone up. He tried to convince me that by putting on the air con that the smell would go away. I booked through hotels in vietnam and on checkout I was charged twice. Breakfast also very poor. As they say "dont go there"

Avoid if at all possible

Spent one night here at the start of a tour.  Staff were friendly and helpful but the hotel was dirty and in need of attention.  The air conditioner sounded like a bad dishwasher and kept you awake all night.  Pulled the bedside table out to access a plug and loioked like it had never been cleaned.

Give it a miss....

 The whole hotel seemed to vibrate and hum, so much so that it kept me awake all night. Our room had cigarette burns all over the bed frame and the fridge never worked. Our son was in a different room, and it smelt of sewer! Breakfast was the best part, but even then the tables were impossible to navigate around as so many, and I was repulsed by the people taking huge plates of fruit and bread, and then not eating any of it, because it was bad. We were on a G Adventure trip and stayed as a pre night and an included night. If i was to recommend the trip to anyone (which I would), I would recommend staying elsewhere and pay the extra.  DO NOT STAY HERE.
