Sorry, I was not able to write this review earlier. I loved Bee Saigon Restaurant, so much so that I returned there for a second time.  The food was great!. As a vegetarian I was extremely impressed with their extensive vegetarian menu.  The restaurant is not situated in a fancy part of town and so their prices were excellent.  They served wine as well.  If you want a great vegetarian meal at a great price you cannot go wrong here.

Can't Go Wrong Here

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on our return from Mekong Delta. The rooms were a good size with plenty of storage and room to move. The bathroom had a bath with shower as well as a seperate shower unit. The aircon took a couple of minutes to get into full cool mode but was very effective. I was able to get washing done and they called a Grab taxi to take me to the medical centre. The staff are all very nice, most speak reasonable English and were very helpful. In all a very pleasant stay. I would stay here again

Good cheap hotel

We stayed a couple of nights at "Bi Saigon hotel" just off Bui Vien (District 1). Rooms were very spacious with a couple of chairs for added comfort. Had a bath as well as a shower. Nice little balcony and a good airconditioner. Host were very nice and helpful. They had a restaurant on the ground floor. Their food was good quality and very tasty. This hotel was nice and quiet although it was in the heart of the manic backpackers district. It was about $37 Australian per night.

Sick of Rice and Spring Rolls. This place is great, Bangers & Mash, Beer Battered Fish and Chips or Shepherds Pie Oh my Budha! Cheap beers too.
Drop in and try. It's not a fancy place, but the food is good.

I ordered some "fresh" spring rolls and pho bo. Both of them had a weird flavour and werent freshly prepared. There was a lady preparing food behind us who listened to loud music.she could've sit down anywhere else but decided to sit right behind us.

Food is disscusting

My wife, two young children, and I stayed in the family room at Bi Saigon for $31 per night in mid-December 2018. The room is a double and a single, okay for three but tight for four. I had previously stated here by myself 15 year before in March 2003 on a recommendation from two friends. The patio was serene and I could write and sip my coffee. I loved Bi Saigon 15 years ago, but since then the Phạm Ngũ Lão backpacker area of District 1 Saigon has exploded and is loud and a party center. This wouldn't be a problem if Bi Saigon had decent double pane windows, but hardly anyone in Vietnam does. The staff are kind and helpful. The food is okay. The beds are mostly hard (one was softer in the family room) and the room small for four. If you're traveling with family, I'd book elsewhere.

Loud: not recommended for families

Waiter mistakes our dishes and add to bill food what wasn't order by us. When we try to speak about this with manager he start to be arrogant and say to us vulgar words. Absolutely non professional. Not recommended this restaurant.

Totally bad staff in restaurant.

We ate spring rolls,pork and chicken and found it good value,cheap beer too..situated in district1 in a back lane.Was busy with locals when we visited which is usually a good sign.Service was quick,didnt have to wait long at all.

Good cheap food

Disclaimer: I don’t do roaches. Spiders, grasshoppers, millipedes—all fine—but roaches gross me out. 

Hubs and I had one day in Ho Chi Minh City before our bus to Cambodia, so we hit the food and sightseeing scene hard. We got back to the hotel around 1 in the morning. I was just about to turn the light out when something scurried across my pillow. It was a roach. I made my dissatisfaction with the situation known, hubs disposed of it, convinced me that it was a fluke, we switched sides and he promptly knocked out. I did some phone related things for a bit when lo and behold, yet another roach scurried across the bed. 

Due to my dislike of roaches and to roaches scurrying across my prone body at night, I found it hard to sleep. It was past 1 in the morn, our bus was scheduled to leave at 6 am and hubs was already knocked out. I decided there wasn’t any use making a ruckus and  dragging us to another place for a few hours of sleep. I figured I’d just sleep on the bus tomorrow and spent the night doing some research and smooshing the occasional roach within reach. I saw so many roaches, I started keeping count. I counted so many, I gave up around the 24/25 mark. 

If you can tolerate roaches, this olace is fine for a night. The facilities are not new, but certainly functional. The price is right if you’re on a budget. Just note that the water they put in the fridge is not free and you will be charged if you drink it. 

However, if you dislike critters crawling upon you as you slumber, are traveling with a lady friend who dislikes this or don’t like sharing a space with unexpected roommates, head elsewhere!

No bees, just roaches. Loads of them

I were there maybe around 5-6 times. I have a friend who worked here, Gustavo. He is a friendly guy and was a football player before. Foods are okay, there are so many kinds of food and value your money. It is good for anyone who don't have enough time for cooking at home.
