I had heard about this place for years and finally we visited.  Fighting the Friday afternoon traffic wasn't fun with a car sick 6 year old, but once we arrived we were blown away by the villa and pool.  Fortunately, we were the only two families until Saturday afternoon.  More families arrived for the rest of the weekend which was good for the business in Covid times.

We loved the spacious rooms overlooking the pool.  Food was good.  Be warned, lunches and dinners off the menu are large enough for 2 people!  

There are 9 rooms here.  We will be back with all our friends to book the place out.

A big thanks to the Manager, Lam, who went above and beyond to wash and dry and return my wet pack (swimmers, towel etc.) inadvertently left behind - and all at no cost to me.  Excellent customer service!

My only suggestions to the owner: have a kids menu; tune the TVs to the stations and restring the guitar.  But really I have no complaints at all.  It was the short break we all needed.  Thank you again to Lam and his team.

Brilliant, relaxing stay - highly recommended

Yes relaxing - & I don't mean me looking a bit tired :) :) :) 

Went here very recently with friends (second time visiting). As much as the service was lovely & meals were good too - I was a bit concerned how tired the grounds looked. Pool decking was not safe (warped wood in  a lot of places & a lot of nail-heads sticking up. 
Sun lounges very dated too. 
Communal toilets not cleaned in months!?

Reasoning for the 4-stars above is based partially on our previous visit: (hoping the owner updates/maintains the current issues)?

Relaxing - (but looking a bit tired)

I came with a party of 6; Santa, the manager was exceptionally accommodating with fantastic recommendations. Food, wine, desserts were delicious and authentic. The presentation of the food was precise and very modern. The food was cooked perfectly and great for sharing. Will definitely be back. 

Dinner is awesome 

We come back here for the 2nd time. 5 months ago only as a small family, staying in one room. This time three rooms were booked for 6 adults and 3 children. Since we arrived there on Sunday afternoon, the whole maison were only for our family. We could have the lounge for our private "appero" drinking and chilling. The "staff" did everything to make our stay at home including preparing a French breakfast with French coffee (which was said to be brought from France by the  owner.) Another time we couldn't meet the owner, who has been hospitalised due to an accident. We wish him recover soon and will come back one day.

This was our first experience of La Maison de Campagne but based on this stay it won't be the last. We booked at the last minute but everything was in place when we arrived. The room and bed was comfortable, to the point where we nearly overslept.Will definitely look at this hotel chain in the future. They have a good breakfast selection as well which is included in the price. It is a bit difficult to find though.

Pleasant overnight stay

The gate of the maison was small and ordinary. There were no security guards or receptionists but you have to open the gate and come in by yourself. The idea behind this was because the owner wanted you to walk in freely like your own house. 

Although knowing that the owner of the maison is a Vietnamese architect who came back to Vietnam after a long time of living in France, I was stunned by the its harmony of the east meet west. It was fabulous and peaceful at the same time thanks to the artistic way of arranging decorations, the friendliness of staff and authenticity of homemade Vietnamese food. 

Even when I have a house in HCMC, I would love to spend a night in here in a hide away weekend.

I didn't want to leave any more... a crazy charm... a wonderful setting... a great lunch... nice rooms... to not miss Mr. Google Map will guide you there without a problem The host welcomes you with a perfect French

A Paradise

The countryside is less than an hour from Saigon. A perfect place to meet family and friends in peace. An original and charming home. Lovely staff and warm welcome. Delightful Vietnamese food. Mr. Thanh makes sure the good waves are everywhere.

Beautiful, charming house, warm welcome, delicious Vietnamese food.

A very nice residence with only six rooms in total privacy. A Vietnamese Franco decoration made with great refinement by the owner, Franco Vietnamese, who lived 40 years in Paris as an architect. We were welcomed by this gentleman with extreme delicacy with whom we had very enriching discussions. I highly recommend this haven of peace for rest and relaxation because around it there is not much to discover on foot. Careful to locate the indispensable Google map.
