This hotel is part of a collection of hotels acquired by the same people so it also says the 'Bizu Hotel' outside. They also own a hotel next door and one further down the road! This may be confusing so make sure you check the number of the hotel. 
This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Its right in the middle of the backpacker area so do expect some street noise but we experienced very little in our room and slept soundly. The wifi signal was excellent and the bed was very comfortable and much softer than the standard hard mattresses which seem to be prevalent in Asia. The room was very clean and there was a really big ensuite bathroom with hot water and a hot shower - luxury!
Breakfast is served in the morning on the 10th floor which has amazing views across the city. There is a menu of offerings to choose from as well as fruit, juices and coffee etc so we were always well filled. 
The management spoke excellent English and were extremely friendly and helpful. Other members of night staff spoke little English but made good use of Google translate! 
The location of the hotel is really convenient, within walking distance of many of the sights and centrally located in district 1. 
We stayed for three nights and really liked it there. Unfortunately, money went missing from our room safe while we were out. The management were keen to help me and were able to offer reassurances and there is cctv etc. They were absolutely sure this could not have happened. Sadly we are absolutely sure that it did. Despite this, we would consider staying there again, but we would take more of our own security measures.

Excellent value for money but money 'missing' from room safe.

Well.. On arrival at the hotel.. We were greeted by two staff members and a giant cockroach.. The staff didn't seem too concerned by it it's presence as we were checked in.

The two double bed room we stayed in was worn and tired. The bathroom was sufficient but the shower was awful. 

From the pictures of the hotel when we booked compare to the reality was very different.

Breakfast was ok. Location great. Stay here if you don't expect too much.

Hmmm...

We stayed here for 5 nights, its right in the heart of where you want to be. Staff really helpful, always telling us to keep handbag close at all times (People on the scooters have a reputation of snatching them as they fly past you) Wifi was very good. Wasn't as noisy as people are suggesting at all, we where on level 5 and could hardly hear anything. Very good price for the central location. have your own en-suite which for a backpacker is a luxury anyway! 
Overall would stay here again.

Great location, Great staff.

The staff were rude. Its in the time of emergencies that you expect the staff to help you out. But when I called the reception for help the person on the line could not communicate in English. And I decided to stay here thinking they had a decent grasp of the language but was sadly mistaken.

Horrible Customer Service.

We stayed here for the first couple of nights after our arrival HCMC and found it to be clean and tidy with friendly staff. The location was ideal as it was right in the middle of the backpacking area although this did mean it was quite  noisy at night but that's the price of being centrally located. Overall I felt this hotel was good value for money and I would recommend it or stay here again.
