We booked through booking.com and we always filter for ‘breakfast included’. When we turned up and checked in, asking when breakfast was we were met with a confused face. ‘We don’t do breakfast, we don’t have a kitchen. If you have ordered breakfast we’ll get it from somewhere else and deliver it to you.’ Not a good start. 

The room itself was clean enough and spacious, the sheets and towels were a bit stained but you could tell that they were clean apart from that. The room also got tidied everyday, the bed was made and clean towels were provided. The shower only had cold water, it also did not drain so often our bathroom would become flooded. 

When getting to sleep on the first night we soon became aware just how thin the walls were as all we could hear was the staff on the bottom floor talking and laughing. We were also woken up very early (before 6am) by the loud noises from in the hotel. 

You get what you pay for here - a basic hotel that has it’s downfalls. But it is in a good location and the room is surprisingly big. 

Comfortable but very loud and no breakfast

Big room with and close to restaurant and bars. 
The area very close to the best pho restaurant in vietnam,  only 2mins walk.

We found a big bucket of water behind the room "emergency stairs" with a lot of baby mosquito.
I guess they didnt know about that.
But overall, the room was perfect and the staff very helpful.

My bedroom was spacious, but very old (not like the pictures), with dirty walls. The staff is very noisy since early morning, guests are allowed to smoked in the corridor, so my bedroom was stinking thanks to my 'neighbours'.
Breakfast was not good at all, couldn't finish it on the first day and bought my own food for the rest of my stay.
When I was checking out, they converted the prices from USD to Vietnamese Dong using the highest rate I've ever seen in 30 days/6 hotels in Vietnam.
