It is a pretty nice hostel for the backpackers. 
We chose a cheapest room, on the 4th floor (you could find a better larger room and a little bit more expensive on the lower floor). It was clean, safety and quiet peaceful. It also near the centre of Hue City, maybe more than 1 kilometer far I guess.
Everything was really wonderful, the owners were friendly and helpful. We could also rent a motorbike here with a cheap price: about 120.000VND per day. They also brought us a detailed map, and places to go.

Very good place to stay. Warm atmosphere

From the moment we arrived, it was clear we had stepped into one of the worst places imaginable. The reception was a complete disaster. The staff barely looked at us, because they were too busy playing games on the computer, rushing through everything just so they could get back to their game. Completely unprofessional and uninterested. To make things worse, on our second-to-last day, a confused staff member stopped us saying it was our checkout day — even though we still had one more night. Nobody there seemed to know what they were doing.

The room was even worse than the reception. Absolutely nothing like the photos — which are pure deception. What we found was a filthy, smelly, poorly maintained room. The smell of dust and mold was overwhelming. The fan was covered in thick layers of dust, clearly not cleaned for ages.

The bed was so small and uncomfortable that two people could hardly fit. The bathroom was disgusting: a bucket of stagnant water that looked like it had been there for days, and a drain that smelled of sewage.

And then came one of the most shocking parts: the door. It was broken, with a large hole in the glass that they “fixed” by hanging an old curtain to cover it. The room didn’t even have a proper lock — just a thin, flimsy latch that provided zero security. Anyone could have pushed the door open.

To top it all off, we even saw a rat inside our room. At that point, it was clear that hygiene simply does not exist in this place.

They moved us to a room “with a city view,” but it didn’t matter at all. When everything is filthy, broken, smelly and unsafe, a view means nothing.

If you are reading this: do not stay here. The photos lie, the service is terrible, the cleanliness is nonexistent, there is no safety, and the entire experience was horrible from beginning to end. A complete trap for tourists.

Dingy place, not even a blanket in the room, the door to the room doesn’t even shut properly, and when the air cons on the ‘balcony’ door rattled hugely. They also started DRILLING AND HAMMERING at like 9 o clock in the morning? The wifi doesn’t really work, the bathrooms are grim and the place stinks.
