Another gem in this beautiful city of Hue with super friendly service and help in all aspects .Especially the receptionist Ho ang Oanh,sorry if I spelled the name wrong ! She was amazing and greeted me in the morning for my special breakfast order with my favourite music ! The room was clean  and spacious with a balcony .It was located right in the centre of town in a quiet side lane . I could not have  asked for a better place for a reasonable rate and Like to thank all the staff for looking after me so well and hope to be back for my next visit in Hue

Excellent friendly and and economical !

The room was comfortable and clean and was well made up every day.  For the price, this is a bargain.  The property is also walking distance to a bustling night scene and is not too far from the citadel.  The only thing that can perhaps be improved is that the pillows were really too hard.  I had to sleep on a bath towel for the 4 nights I was here.  Will I come back here?  Yes. But I'll bring an inflatable pillow the next time.

Friendly staff and excellent service

Clean spacious and with a balcony for ten bucks! Staff is quite friendly and not pushy ( they're not flying out into the street as soon as you walk by ). Rented us a quality motorbike, which is the first of five that I have rented. If you come by bus leave the station, cross the river, turn left on le loi then look for a sign down an alleyway that says amigo hotel. There's a few places on that alley, didn't look at the others. About 15 min walk from the bus station.

Another great $10 Vietnam hotel

We stayed at the Bao Minh Hotel and were very happy with what they had to offer. The rooms were very cheap but you had your own bathroom, fridge, aircon and balcony. The staff gave us a lot if advice on where to go and helped a lot when we had to arrange our trip to Hanoi. They were always happy to be there for you and really tried hard to make you feel comfortable. Unfortunately the computers do need an upgrade and one didn't work at all but the receptionist even gave his own laptop to me so I could get some work done. The location was good and we could walk everywhere. I would definitely go there again! 

Amazing staff and good value for money

I stayed at the Bao Minh Hotel, Hue, for 4 nights. I got my previous hotel to phone them up (still can't find an email address) and arrange pick up from the railway station by moto. The owner/manager was there on time, and took me to the hotel. This is not a free service, but at US$1.50 I thought it was worth it. As I had come off the overnight train, I decided to have breakfast, which was very basic, but saw me through 'til lunch time. I got rather irritable when I was approached about tour bookings before I even had a chance to see the room - luckily this stopped after the first day.

This is a budget hotel, but it had everything I needed, including a fridge. I guess the bathroom could do with a bit of a "make-over", but it was relatively clean, and there was plenty of hot water.

I ended up arranging a tour by moto with the owner (same lady who had picked me up from the train). She was actually really sweet walking around with me and take me back to the hotel, when I had expected to just be dropped off, to find my own way home. 

Overall, the hotel served my purpose, and I would maybe stay again. Traveling solo, even the less expensive mid-range hotels tend to stretch the budget a little, so I tend to compromise and stay in budget hotels.
