Really enjoyed staying at the resort. Quiet, pristine and lots of green space, suitable for short walks. Service staff were friendly and helpful. And the breakfast is what I remembered most: a fair selection of fresh and well-prepared dishes (seafood noodle soup was the best), certainly beyond your normal hotel's continental breakfast. Will definitely visit again.

A blissful short vacation in Long Hai. 

Fleur de Lys is located on the outskirts of a small fishing town about 1.5-2 hours drive from Ho Chi Minh. It was very quiet when we first arrived, this seemed to pick up a little over the weekend. Most of the guests seemed to be Vietnamese. The resort itself comprises a series of villas and rooms located in picturesque and well tended tropical gardens on the slope of a hill leading down to the beach, so most rooms have sea views. We stayed in a two bedroom villa which was two bedrooms separated by a bathroom. It was smallish and the bathroom had a curtain rather than a door which might not suit everyone, but worked well for us and was great value. The rooms had all the mod cons you would expect from a high-end resort. There are other larger (and smaller) options available. The pool and restaurant are located next to the beach. There is also a large spa offering wraps, scrubs facials and a variety of massages with prices that are very reasonable by western standards (35-40 AUD for an hour facial/massage when we were there). My daughters and I enjoyed several of the treatments on offer and they were all great.The buffet breakfast was very comprehensive, with Local, Asian, European and UK offerings. There were fresh tropical juices every morning and a huge array of hot and cold dishes included in the overnight price. More than enough to keep you going all day! We ate most nights at the restaurant which was located right on the beach with a nice sea breeze in the evenings. There was a good selection of local and western foods on the menu. The pool was large and well tended with a pool bar for cold drinks and snacks. The beach was cleaned every day by the resort staff and supervised by a lifeguard. We swam on a few mornings but spent more time at the pool. There was also a playground and pool toys for the little kids. Overall we had a fabulous stay, the staff were lovely and the location, food and amenities great. If you are after a quiet, well priced and relaxing holiday with family or friends this is the place for you. For those looking for a bit of nightlife, Vung Tao on the other side of the peninsula is a bit livelier.

An all white themed Beach resort nestled between the South China Sea and the Shore cliffs offered a picturesque setting to a pretty secluded coastal getaway... the cottages are interspersed on smallish ridges with uninterrupted view of the blue waters... one can unwind at the beachside with excellent food served at Le Vent... extremely good experience all around

We had a wonderful time in that resort Fleur de Lys.  Best of all, the team : so professional, kind, always wanting to help and do everything to make your stay smoother.  We also loved the super calm and clean room.  We'll definitely go back there.

Great experience !!!

I came here with my dad.  A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.  Very cheerful and enthusiastic staff.  the food is delicious.  I often go for a walk on the beach in the morning. Enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee. I will be back this summer.

A few words to share with you!

The resort is very peaceful, feeling like being in nature.  Very cold swimming pool surrounded by greenery.  Staff very helpful and friendly.  Standard food and drink.  Ideal destination for couples.

Wonderful experience

The new management has made a mighty big difference to earlier reviews pre-covid.
Not too difficult to travel out from Saigon by shuttle bus. It takes about two hours from central Ho Chi Minh and the distance (as you really sort of never leave the big city) is about one million shops. The shuttle will drop you off at the resort entry, or even send car car to any nearby hotel to collect you.
Friday and Saturdays were the only busy days when the resort is booked out, otherwise all other days are really quiet and cheaper.
The restaurant is excellent choice of foods with a banquet breakfast. If you don't see anything you want then just ask and it appears from the kitchen.
Problem with electric plugs in the room as our power adaptor did not fit so the front office provided us with one.
The beach is really great. At low tide you can actually walk around the rocks to the nearby town then maybe walk back along the main road.
Plenty of restaurants to sample along the streets. Go out the short gate entry and cross the road to enter the side street. Plenty of footpath shops to buy great fruit like mangoes.
The gardens around the pool are beautiful. Watch out for scampering large lizards are you cross the lawn. Sign says keep to the path - no wonder!
Nowhere really to hand your wet towels - so being intrepid travellers we pack our own 4m hanging line to put up between the trees.
You can get cheaper digs up town, but this place is quality. Spoil yourself.

Nice and quiet

This was the first time we stayed at a hotel and never left it. We didn't even use the Spa. We checked into our pool villa, changed into our bathing suites, and never left, except for our walks to the beach front restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The pool was clean,  the villa was clean and spacious, the view was dreamy, there was always an area of the patio that had shade.

Rest, Rest, and Rest

What can be said about this resort, very green, staff  are friendly and everyone is smiling, the villas are clean and comfortable, there is even a sauna!  excellent cuisine and Chef, I recommend trying his duck and desserts!
