This could be a better hotel if not for the typical viet mentality of the staff to charge tourists for every cent. The staff were very pleased to charge us for the 4 bottles of water placed on the desk of the room without any mention of charges with this being Free for hotels around, 30000d thus increasing their profit by 10%. Great. This simple act made us feel cheated and would not recommend it despite the good location and relative friendliness of the staff. The room was sandy on our arrival and you could see that the bedsheets were not very clean. We had the cheapest room and it was quite stuff but if u get the more expensive one it would be better.

This hotel is definitely "no-frills", but for the price, what else would you expect?

The rooms are cleaned every day, and fresh towels are dished out (they are small towels, I'd maybe bring your own as well).

The rooms have air con and a fan, and mostly the WiFi is good.

You are a little bit further out of central Nha Trang, but still only a 2 min walk to the beach and plenty of food places.

My only real qualm would be that the cleaners inexplicably took my flannel on the last day, and there was no real way of (language barrier) getting it back. I assume they just got it mixed up with one of their cloths.

All in all, ideal for the price you pay. 

Perfect for the price 

When we arrived at the hotel, we were told by the son it was $9 for the room so we said all good, we'll take it. When we went to check out (and they will knock at exactly check out time and wait for you to get out so be quick!), we were told be the daughter the price was $14. Despite arguing that the price online was 9, the price on the wall was 9 and we were told 9, she wouldn't budge. The room was grand but they're are plenty of places to stay in the area where you can save yourself the hassle of getting ripped off. Would avoid if you can. 

Save yourself the hassle

Myself and my partner booked here for 4 nights. 
The hotel is far from the city centre and taxis are hard to find. The rooms look more like a pay per hour kind of accommodation. 
We left on the first night as we did not feel safe here. The staff charged us for the full 4 nights. We then got a hotel in the city centre for the same price and which was far better, (souvenir hotel). 

I recommend not staying here. 

SKIP! 

We didn't realise how out of town this hotel was until we arrived in Nha trang. There are two dong hai hotels in Nha trang so watch out for that . One in centre one out of town. This one turned out to be nice. Rooms are nice, reception was very helpful and friendly. You can very easily get a shuttle bus from a short walk from the hotel. No.4 and its only 7000dong. We ended up moving on our last night somewhere more in town but if you don't mind a short shuttle then go for it. You will have to get a taxi at night though as shuttle doesn't run late (which is about 120dong)
