Apartments are big and well-appointed. Views on the eastern side are spectacular. Staff are helpful with directions etc. Maintenance could be a little bit more proactive rather than reactive. Elevators work well but are sometimes a bit busy.  This is overall a good option for central Nha Trang.

Spectacular views and friendly and helpful staff but that is all that is going for it the apartment we are staying in is appalling standard. Cupboard doors falling off water damaged awful smell and cockroaches(had to ask for spray). Apartment did not match pictures on Booking.com. Bathroom/toilet combined so when you have a shower you wet the whole room and nowhere to keep your clothes or towel dry. The three lift have to be the slowest in the world

Couple of days by beach

We stayed on the 35th floor of this building in a Studio Apartment facing towards the ocean for 28 nights. The view is spectacular! The king size bed was basic but comfortable, new modular sofa, new fridge and new washing machine, also a smartTV and great WIFI. Two current model reverse cycle air conditioners ensured we had the right temperature throughout each day. The kitchenette is basic and includes a hotplate, a couple of plates and a couple of frypans (eating out is cheaper anyway). The bathroom is basic and clean (although mould was around the shower door). Shower has good pressure and the hot water was great. Housekeeping visit each day - 3 friendly and helpful Vietnamese women who spent about 5-10 minutes to change towels/bedding, clean kitchen and bathroom and sweep/wash the floors. The building itself is in need of an update and the elevators are a big drawback. Apparently there are 450 apartments being serviced by the 3 lifts. So you can spend a lot of time waiting for a lift (we were on holidays so we tried to not get too caught up on this). The lifts are often crowded and hot. We were too high up to use the stairs. Overall we enjoyed our stay as the studio size apartment met our needs and made us reasonably self sufficient. To wake up to the sunrise each morning was truly beautiful.
On a side note:  We stumbled upon Ahn Tran, a Vietnamese tour guide who speaks excellent English and is one of the most genuine people you could meet. Anh took us on the most amazing adventures while we were in Nha Trang (including to Da Lat for 3 days). We were taken to places where no other Westerners/tourists were and were given such an amazing insight into the way Vietnamese people live, their culture and their homes - all off the tourist track. Can't recommend Anh enough - phone him on +84 905 148 368. Texting can be challenging for him as Anh speaks English well but does not read it - so give him a call. Hes always on time, safe driver, has great integrity and we felt safe with him at all times.

A month in Nha Trang - awesome view!

This was absolutely horrifying. The room we had booked and prepaid for 5 nights looked lovely and modern (and clean!) on Booking.com. Imagine our surprise when we check in and are given a completely different apartment, nothing like the photos not even the furniture. Chipped tiles, mouldy walls, broken curtains and (this is what made us leave) - dirty sheets!!! I pulled back the messy looking duvet to discover no top sheet and a dirty white bottom sheet with long black hairs. White pillowcases covered in makeup and stank. 
We immediately returned to the office and showed the two young girls the Booking.com photos and told them our room is not what we booked. The girls were very awkward and told us the room we booked was booked out and maybe we can be moved into it in a day or two! We said no way and the girls didn’t seem to care that our bed was filthy with unwashed sheets. That seemed to be quite acceptable. 

They very reluctantly and after arguing returned our 500,000 VND deposit we had just handed over and told me I would receive a full refund on Monday when the bank opens. We booked another room at Liberty Central across the street and left. By now it was late and we were exhausted!! (Thankfully Liberty was gorgeous and our suite was amazing). 

To top this awful experience with Nha Trang Beach Apartments off, I received an email the next day from Booking.com....Nha Trang Beach Apartments had contacted them cancelling our booking and told them we had been a no-show!!!!!! Luckily we had taken photos documenting our horrible apartment which we sent to Booking.com to prove they were lying! Nha Trang Beach Apartments have since told Booking.com they will refund me in full since they couldn’t accommodate us or provide the room we had booked. I am still waiting for my refund and will leave another review if and when I receive the money they owe me. 

All in all I very disgusting and disappointing, dodgy experience. They are clearly posting fake photos of the Apartments. They also tried to take our passports to keep when we first checked in but thank goodness we were smart enough to say no. Otherwise I can only assume we may not have gotten them back again, it was all very suspicious from the very moment we stepped inside and we feel like it’s a massive scam.

Awful experience - turned around and walked out even though room was prepaid

This was my 4th stay at this property....and I have decided, it was my last!

These apartments are SERIOUSLY out-of-date.  They are supposed to be fully self-contained.  My apartment had 1 fork and 1 spoon.  Not a single knife.  Not a single teaspoon!

And the staff are VERY SELECTIVE about which emails they respond to.  My apartment was on Level 44.  Reception is on Level 31.  It's usually easier to email them.

My request for more toilet paper and soap was IGNORED TWICE!

The air-conditioner was NOT working and they ignored me for 48 hours.  They then offered me another room.  The aircon in that room was also NOT working....plus the new room smelt like petrol fumes....so I moved back to my original room.

NO COMPENSATION was offered for having no aircon IN THE 38-degree heat.

Yet when I emailed requesting a Late Checkout, they responded within 10 minutes telling me it would cost VND 400,000.00.

Oh....and there was blood from a previous guest on the doona too!

Lastly, since my last stay (9 months ago) they have adhered yellow reflective plastic to the inside of the windows.  That magnificent view has been RUINED as during the day, the water looks green.  At night, all you can see is a reflection of the apartment.  They may as well have mirrors on the windows.

Never again, I tell you.  NEVER!

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!  I'VE STAYED 4 TIMES....AND NEVER EVER AGAIN!

Positive: -Great view of the sea & the beach -quiet -super equipped with washing machine, kitchen and smart TV bed -comfortable and soft -good contact with staff via WhatsApp and email - beach right in front of the house, you just have to cross the street -negative: -Located far outside the center, yet there are some good restaurants in the area Info: In the apartment house there are probably various hotels / apartments.

Nice apartment overlooking the sea

It's a fairly new building. (still) very well maintained rooms. Very poor kitchen facilities. But it's already cooking at the great restaurants.

Carefully maintained, spacious apartment

The worst experience I've ever had in my entire traveling history. The company is deliberately misleading by giving me an incorrect description of the apartments. I booked an apartment with two separate bedrooms. I got a one-bedroom apartment, there's no shower area in the bathroom, shower is just above the toilet. And so is EVERY building. There are insects crawling on the bed. The worst thing is that the apartment is covered in mold, and after an hour the kids started choking. When I asked them to change the apartment, the office workers just laughed and pretended they didn't understand English.

Don 't book an apartment from Alpha Apartment

The hotel is a complete disappointment. The rooms overlooking the city are rooms in neighboring buildings with very dirty windows. The hotel is oriented towards the Chinese. There are a lot of them out there and they're very noisy. The food is disgusting. The only plus is that the hotel is located in the European quarter, so it was where to go to eat and feed the baby. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

I don't recommend this hotel.

The Muong Thanh building consists of a hotel and apartments. I lived in apartments with a fabulous view of the open sea. Comfortable apartments with kitchen and air conditioning in each room. The biggest problem of this building is only three elevators on 46 floors. The elevators are large, but they still do not fit, so if you go down or up at peak hours (morning and evening), you can take 20-30 minutes to do it.
