It’s a lovely guest house run by a lovely Vietnamese family. 
It would feel safe if you are travelling alone. 
It’s quiet, clean and comfortable. 
Location wise it’s 2 minutes from the beach. 
Plenty of shops within walking distance including a big supermarket that sells everything imaginable.

They have an adjoining restaurant.

Please do tip in Vietnam the average wage is $25 a WEEK.
They do not expect it and genuinely just want you to have a great time in their country but it goes a long way to help them in the quieter season.

Excellent clean comfy guest house

Family-run restaurant on a pleasant narrow side street in Phu Quoc. Delicious fish steak with fresh local green peppercorns, at a good price. Extensive menu, including a surprising selection of mixed cocktails. Altogether a pleasant experience, and great value.

Amazing fish with green peppercorns

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one week and it was lovely. It is a small, family affair, with four bungalows off one of these shady, side roads that lead to the beach, and although there is a restaurant out front and a couple of bars within the block, it is so incredibly peaceful and quiet. The owners are the kindest people. Super helpful (they even let me use their home computer when the mobile site on my phone was not working), they give a bottle of cold water to you and clean the room daily, they even made us the best coffee every morning (not included in the room, but well worth the price!) The hospitality they provided is not something you will find everywhere on this island. 
On site, there is a well-maintained garden oasis of orchids and other tropical plants and flowering trees, which add to the charm and relaxed nature of the space.. 
The bungalows are roomy and clean. Ours had a king-sized bed which was very comfortable, a large bathroom/shower (water takes a minute to get hot, but it is plentiful once you have it)
a mini fridge (an excellent addition for those not wanting to dine out every meal), air con and a fan. Also, wifi in every room is quite strong and fast enough. 
There is a porch out front of each bungalow with a table and comfortable lounge chairs. Although the bungalows are adjacent and attached to one other, the space feels very private. 
In the vicinity: Beach is a 3 minute walk, a plethora of restaurants and bars in the area, laundry next door, convenient mart next door (and many others within seconds), motobikes for rent all around, bicycles for rent on the main road (2 minute walk)
About Long Beach, it is lined with resort chairs and the beach is not very wide, so in high season it may be difficult to find a patch of sand to lay your towels and blankets down, but the beach itself is not private (save for in front of one out-of-place, ritzy resort), so plop yourself down whereever you find room, and those in their resort-owned lounge chairs can't do anything about it if it happens to be right in front of them! 
Sidenote: In some of the pictures, there is an outdoor pool. This place is small and definitely does not have a pool! I think there may be another palm tree guesthhouse on the island....

Gem of a place

Me and my girlfriend spent a week in this welcoming, service minded, quiet and clean guesthouse just a 3 minutes walk to the beach. The room has good space with mosquito net over the bed. The WC/shower is fresh and large.  You will be getting really taken care of here. It is also one of the places that is _not_ run by megalomania resort capitalists, which are on c(o)urse pushing smaller family run places away. Book this place and support local community as you are visiting. You will not be disappointed!

Very good family run guesthouse

It's the family business. All staff are friendly & helpful. The area is interesting to discover. Tourists can easily walk to tge beach & rent the motorbike to go around the island. A lot of resorts are around, but this guesthouse is worth to stay. It can help you save money for other things. Check out the night market for seafood which is not far from this area.

Great host & food

Large room sparsely furnished. Hard mattress and pillows.  VERY quiet, notwithstanding the roosters roaming not far away. Shower head not very generous. Room was clean but could use a touch up. Short walk to beach. Close to many restaurants, including the guest house's own which served us excellent food. Compared to other accommodations we had in Vietnam during our month-long stay, the room was a bit pricey. Our neighbors were heavy smokers and while they did not smoke in their room, they did so on the balcony and it was the cigarette smell than seeped in our room that woke us up every morning.  But then, it was not really the hotel's fault.

Homely and intimate

Pains me to say it but the restaurant sucks...
I couldn’t wait to go there again since last time I came to phu Quốc 2 years ago and I was sooooo disappointed. It became a tourist scam. Rip off on all the menu unfortunately... nothing is what is seems.
